For real, in some states it's just damn near impossible to get a title without knowing the previous owner. I got an abandoned motorcycle once. I went in to register it, but the tag office wouldn't let me. They said I would have to reach out to the original owner. After some research of my own I was able to deduce that the bile still had a lien on the original title by a company that didn't exist anymore. I was left high and dry; unable to do anything because thevstate I was in had no legal means for me to get an abandoned vehicle titled.
Because you didn't know what to do. You have to have or find a buddy who has a mechanic shop or a tow yard and bring it there. After 30 days they can file for mechanics lean title. Then they transfer it back to you. Have had to go that route a few times and always has worked. Have to pay your buddy or mechanic/tow yard a few $$ for their time and costs for title but most cases it's worth it if cars worth $5k or more and in decent condition.
Forgot to mention, If the vehicle has a previous lean then the owner may come and collect the car, so I don't recommend doing it if has a lenders lean on it. But if it doesn't or they don't want it then it'll work.
@@working2bselfsufficient724 I'm aware of the Mechanic's lien process. I still don't count that as a legal means because it's not readily available to the population. My 19 year old son’s truck broke down because he was acting like a teenager in it. We found a Acura 2 door car for $700. Went to check it out. Thought it had to be a scam. Turned out it was another 19 year old who had been driving it around our small southern town for 4 years without switching over the title to himself or tagging it. Turned out well. Cost us a couple hundred to bring the registration up to date and switch it over from the old owner who was also from our small southern town. My son needed something fast and cheap because he has 2 jobs. It has been a great little car. There are diamonds in the rough on places like Facebook marketplace. You just have to be careful. Bought my car off FB market place. Guarantee the seller description beats all these in this video. He was very honest, maybe a little too honest. In the description he gives the typical info, but is very honest his wife passed away in it. Now I thought that was a joke. The price was great and the car seemed great. So I went to check it out, the car was great but he was not joking. It was his wife’s car, but she did unfortunately pass away in it. He sadly would find her when he got home from his son’s house. She had a stroke in the car and passed away. But I still bought the car, excellent condition, low miles, great price because of what happened in it. I named the car Christine. It’s not haunted that I know of, I’m not being possessed either. When some people find out what happened in my car before I got it, it kinda freaks them out. Took awhile for my wife to get in it. Nobody will sit in the driver seat but me, which the seller replaced so it’s not the one she passed away on. At least he told me he replaced the seat because of that. But yeah given the history of the car, I had no choice but to name the car Christine
I mean that's very tragic but probably something you shouldn't tell someone you are selling the car to. Now it has meaning to you to even though you didn't know her. So if you ever decide to sell it, the knowledge of that will eat away at you too.

I bought a used car from a Buick dealer. I paid it off after 3 years. It was an 07 Monte Carlo. When I went to trade it in they said I had a lean on it. I had to call the company that gave me the loan and show the dealer the letter they mailed me saying it was paid in full. I would’ve never even known it had a lien on it.
In 2016 I bought a Miata that was 5 BOSs deep and the reason I couldn’t title it was because the BOS between the first buyer and the second buyer was missing. Long story short I traded it for an e30 that was suffering a similar fate

I mean at that point why not just default on the damn thing and let the bank fuck you in one major blow? Buy yourself a reliable shitbox outright then tell the bank you're stopping payments on the car loan and let them repo it. They will fuck your credit but it's not like they can throw you in jail or put a hit out on you. Seems like a better alternative than being in abject poverty for basically a whole decade over a fucking car.
New trucks are insanely priced. So are many cars, but trucks are nuts. My friend needed a truck for work. He got a used Ford F250 and it's nice but not a special edition or anything and it was around $68k with 12% interest. I argued with him to get a cash loan and buy something outright that was less expensive but he's his own man and makes his own decisions. Now he's paying for a truck that's worth about $40k if he's lucky and not even 2 years into owning it. A remember when a work truck didn't cost an entire years profits for most small business owners.

that picture was taken in their front parking area where they show off their "desirables" . that bus in the background has been sitting in their parking area waiting to be moved into the junkyard for at least half a year.
For that Monte Carlo the thing is 3k . 5k is what gets you into a clean base SS (non driver or pace car edition) although that G-Body isn't a terrible price. I've been seeing most of the rust free examples hitting 12-15k and even shells for race cars hitting near 8k

How stupid do you have to be to lose a title. If you can’t find a title you shouldn’t be behind the wheel
2:05
$123,456
Front, rear seats, alternator, intake, and catalytic converter is gone as well, what a steal!
6:00 in with the Suzuki, the front wheel looks pushed back towards the door. Hahaha I can't handle people and their games. 😂🤣
7:16 Those Ping golf bags in the back might be worth more than the Saturns if the clubs are in them LOL!
NEVER buy a car without a clear title. Check the sellers ID and the VIN as well.
Goddamn it, that Regal would of been sick for 7g's with a tittle and regular ass wheels.
got quoted 22% interest on a new corolla hatch because we moved into the country. a 22k base model marked up to 30k snd then the interest.
By a fit or two for that price and k swap one lol
SO 100k for a corolla lmao and they wonder why ppl dont buy new cars everything is just so inflated from the used market to the new market its insane but yet ppl still pay these prices like dumbasses and ruin it for everyone else
I bought a used car from a Buick dealer. I paid it off after 3 years. It was an 07 Monte Carlo. When I went to trade it in they said I had a lean on it. I had to call the company that gave me the loan and show the dealer the letter they mailed me saying it was paid in full. I would’ve never even known it had a lien on it.
wow can't wait to see a bunch of realistically priced motorvehicles on my favorite youtube channel Collector Car Feed!
Dont know why YT recommended me yalls channel, but I sure am glad they did. Needed a good laugh today boys
5:35 the front wheel is about a foot back from where it should be,
In 2016 I bought a Miata that was 5 BOSs deep and the reason I couldn’t title it was because the BOS between the first buyer and the second buyer was missing. Long story short I traded it for an e30 that was suffering a similar fate
Lost title were i live we can go to the dmv and have it in an hr
You can buy a better used vehicle from a junkyard these days than from Facebook Marketplace. 90% of those vehicles for sale are worth no more than $800.00 in all honesty.
Majority of sellers on Facebook marketplace are crooks trying to rip u off
This is my new favorite car channel, subscribed and in the market for a shady auto deal
Dude I swear to god I work at a valvoline in IL near where that was posted and that white Monte Carlo came in for an oil change 😂😂😂 told my coworkers only way it was worth 5k is if there was 3k sittin the trunk lmao, he tried flexing the scissor door then struggled to close it for like 5 mins
yo man , this my second video that i watched on your channel , seems very well organized and well put together, very unique aswell , good content man 👍👍
His truck depreciated faster then he could make payments on it... and he only put 33k miles on it
He definitely rolled over negative equity and he’s trying to stick it to the next owner.
A remember when a work truck didn't cost an entire years profits for most small business owners.
i remember cars used to be affordable as long as you worked full time. New cars are nowhere near affordable now.
That last one - the Bentley - seems to have serious issues. Notice the chipping in the front right, next to the headlights and down in the corner? Either dinged something or drove over something solid (hopefully - or ran over something soft, cleaned the car and wants it gone now).
The army came to visit me it was in the early hours with sarson's and sulligans and ferret armored cars they thought they had me cornered but I gave them all a fright. Always loved some of that '80s stuff especially things used during the troubles, ferret scout cars Land Rover snatches etc.
Looking at 14:30 and them saying 8% is high my bank approved me and left out that it was a 18% interest rate. Shits fucked. We love the economy.
Bro the economy is so strong right now its historically the strongest economy we've ever had
@@carfriendsimulator9981 You can't just look at the GDP to see if the economy for the average American is strong lol
This economy is so strong that Michael Burry, famous for making millions betting against the economy before the 2008 crash, just slapped down $1.6 Billion against the 2023 economy.
In 2024, I hope you like the taste of dog 😭 that’s the only thing left for dinner
Felt pretty good getting a used SUV at 6%, then I remember if it was just a couple years ago it would've been almost 0% :'(.
im paying 18 p[ercent as well im gunna refinance very soon i had no choice but at least i bought a reliable car thats good on gas but yeah refinance when you caN
This is what I needed in my life! I just subscribed!
*(**9:16**)* - I'm sorry, but those rims on that car are fucking atrocious.
Its a retard thing.
SX4 Mentioned! Great little cars, I still have mine at 160k miles and its running strong, you don't see too many of them around
Honestly if you have the time and money and no sense it would be kind of funny to rebuild that right-hand-drive Saturn and take it to a JDM car meet.
Bentley I’m sure most everything is a Volkswagen part just marked up more if you go through Bentley
I have been to the junk yard at 4:36 in the video. The workers at that junk yard are really weird. They had a house and sizeable shop with a in-floor car lift and everything until a few years ago. entire thing went up in flames so now iirc they live out of a camper trailer and do business through a building about 6x6 ft in size.
Only guy that didn't feel sketchy was Mark, the owner of the whole thing.
that picture was taken in their front parking area where they show off their "desirables" . that bus in the background has been sitting in their parking area waiting to be moved into the junkyard for at least half a year.
How are all of these descriptions written by Charlie from Always Sunny?
Money me now, so do.
i leave power, good. thank you… thaaank you :)
Instant sub. You awoke my automotive interest again, like reading AA
Alcoholics Anonymous? 🤔
Auto Attendants? 🤔
For that Monte Carlo the thing is 3k . 5k is what gets you into a clean base SS (non driver or pace car edition) although that G-Body isn't a terrible price. I've been seeing most of the rust free examples hitting 12-15k and even shells for race cars hitting near 8k
the guy for the 81 REAGLE most likely speaks Spanish that's why his description has bad grammar. Cicero, IL is a town that my parents told me is basically mexico in IL bc most of the people their speak Spanish
People buy these new cars, making $800, $1600 a month payments; With the precedents of having the money at the time, not realizing they might not tomorrow..😬
I'm so glad I stumbled on this channel lmao
I was kinda mad at the start of the episode because I remembered hearing this all before and thought y'all were like reposting content... Then I realized this stream was from when I had covid a couple weeks ago and it was all kinda a blur live. Y'all's content is great live and edited.
Omg.. I completely forgot about those boomerang antennas.. i need to buy a 90s car put that and a huge spoiler on it...
Love the blacked out tinted headlight on the impala ...I'm sure it helps him see at night
I love my Saturn S series. Hope those two weren’t stolen, cuz these things are actually really good! Snow is crazy easy to have fun sliding.
1:22 that is about 30 min from me lol i am curious now
Maynnn sheeit i finacned some wheels fo my finacned car time to show da apartment complex what i gots
The Noid 😂😂😂 bruh I’m crying laughing lol 😅
“I’m selling this car but I need a ride”
“Bonded title , no keys , hasn’t started in awhile”
bro the pocket wood killed me.
the PT cruiser and neon are notorious for their computers going out. finding a working SRT 4 computer can often go for more then a whole car.
It’s crazy I just bought an Sx4 last month for 500$ with title from the local pound, it was donated. Fixed pcv intake hose, runs great.
It was a 2008 on top of that, exact car as in the vid
12:24 Here in NYC it’s always the same certain type of person who has a Slingshot. Guaranteed trash at the wheel.
I used to hate this channel but now I realized you guys are funny🤣🤣
That orange Bently isn't a v12 it's a w12
honestly how many successful and honest sales have been held over facebook marketplace? There surely must be a seriously high number of negative transactions compared to any other second hand marketplace around.
Depending on the year you don't need a title depending on the state where I'm from in Maine that 81 Buick regal I had one that was a 80 someone lost the title didn't need one to register just check your state 25 years or older you don't need a title
This is why you judge a book by its cover. 😂 never failed me
If you don’t already know about it, the Hoopties card game is really similar to the cars against humanity game that you play
Did not know about it, buying it, thank you!
Holy crap, the rims cost more than the "Reagle"! lol
Just dont buy it if theres no title and you gotta take over payments. Not gonna get caught up in a felony and end up in jail. More than likely its stolen and bank is looking for it
This is like somebody grabbing something off the shelf at Walmart and trying to sell it to you in Walmart - had that happen.
7:25 i mean my grandpa bought two whole saturns for spare parts for some reason, so theres that!
These cars scream 4 kids with 5 baby mommas and no ged
The tundra dude is not getting domed by the bank. He’s giving the bank dome
loving the content guys...
I have a 2014 Mazda 3 6 speed. It's not fast, but I love the car. I have 367,000 miles on it, still with the original clutch and I've done no engine work. Just spark plugs, brakes, serpentine belt, and fluids (basic maintenance). It doesn't leak any oil or fluids. I like driving stick, and sold my 2012 Jeep to get the Mazda because I missed it so much. I'll keep this car as long as I can.
