Major props to you for attempting this. I just started learning how to work unreal engine so I know this was a quite a challenge. I wish I had enough experience to confidently offer help in development

Legend of Dragoon was my favorite video game of ALL TIME! Thank you for taking the time to make all of our dreams possible! Is there a way besides RUclips that we can stay up to date on this?
Seeing this made me so happy. I have played this game dozens of times and it is criminal that it hasn't gotten an official remake. I personally think there isn't a studio out there that could do a sequel justice, but that's why I'm excited that a real fan is doing a remake with such heart and care. Sending all the encouragement I can muster; This needs to be made and you're doing one hell of a job thus far
Man, you actually nailed some of the aspect of the games animation. This game had weirdly fluid and cool looking movement that was fast and deliberate during some of the cutscenes. Darts animation when running away from Feyrbrand just looks cool with him ducking, rolling, and sliding. You nailed a good amount of aspects of that actually, despite this clearly being a very unfinished prototype. I find most of these unreal engine demos to be incredibly undercooked and souless, but parts of this one, I really like. Would love to see you continue this.
So The Character Models need more polishing, especially the smooth armor on Dart's back. The lighting for the first soldier encounter needs changing to better see the dark figures of the soldiers. And the interface/addition timing system needs alot of polish and coordination, as I am ASSUMING it is just for show right now and Dart auto completes the addition. Aside from that, for one person, this is INSANE, and I AM so sad that it took THIS long for someone to attempt a remake and actually GET SOMEWHERE lol I am fully supporting you Geo and hope and pray you continue this! A year , two , three, WE DON'T CARE, lol I would like to see something near the level of The Legend Of Zelda OOT Unreal Remakes. :) You have the talent and drive! DO IT!

Please keep working on this! Fine tune the animations and details and fans like me would easily pay $100 for an "unofficial" remake. It would be cool while picking your attack in battle to see how effective each attack would be aka volcano vs double slash. Piercing damage vs slashing damage vs magic damage ect. This looks incredible and I really hope you continue with it!

Just one minor gripe I have is with Dart's model. In the original game, his exposed arm and legs were more substantial and toned. It's kind of awkward seeing him run around with such a big chest piece of armor where the rest of his body doesn't seem to match up. I'm sure this is something that can be adjusted, I just wanted to bring it up since no one else seemed to mention it here. I really appreciate the effort you've already put into this!
I agree. His armor also needs more detail. I'm sitting here watching and I'm just like why do I hate this Dart model? I think it just needs more detail all around. His armor half looks like a red rubber suit to me, but I think if it was done up into like individual red armor plates that could work, and I think His exposed arm needs more definition and detail. The legs I'm mostly ok with, but putting a bit more muscle definition in there wouldn't upset me. Also, not sure if it's just the current stage of things or what. But the attack animation with the square flipping around doesn't seem to line up properly both in terms of timing, and also placement. Like, it seems to go towards the bottom of the screen instead of to the middle, and I don't seem to ever see a square that you're timing up against?
God I want a remake so bad,keep almost everything the same besides graphics,more dialogue from all the characters some side quests more lore side quests,fix the leveling and money system ever way if it only got a graphics overhaul is be fine! Just got 4 people into this game 2 born after 00 and they love it.
Im surprised that this game hasnt gotten any love. No hd mods or remakes. One of my favorite games. Id debate that this game is better than Final Fantasy 7
Well this was an unexpected treat! Liking the detail put into it, like the hidden optional events and the leaves in the wind. Are those buildings pre rendered or put in game as-is? Did you make the dragon? It's looking closer than the placeholder dragon model in earlier videos. Good job =)

Outstanding, really awesome to see some of these scenes re made. Obv not the best but still utterly amazed by this. The combat/ addition showeed seemed a little slow but at the end of the day it is what it is.
Wish I could learn that Unreal Engine, but my brain turns into a block of wood when I try converting my past years experience in RPG Maker game creations over into learning Unreal Engine stuff!!

At the first time I thought that I'm the only one wanted that the legend of dragoon remaked. Great fully it's not... I hope this project gonne be real ASAP. It's going to be a remake or remastered it doesn't matter. As long as it's LOD 😁
Personally, I don’t believe that a shot for shot remake with better graphics would add anything to the experience. The aesthetics of the original were perfect and I think that the ending doesnt leave much room for a great sequel but a dragon campaign prequel would be amazing.
Glad to see people putting in good work on this game. I wouldn't have changed the attack dynamic at all. It was perfect, easy to understand, and with practice easy to master. This just looks confusing. The backgrounds look fantastic compared to the original, but it's not where it needs to be. A remake of this game, which very well may have been the very best of its kind in my opinion, would HAVE TO BE as groundbreakingly beautiful as the original was in its time. This game took FOUR discs to contain it. At a time when game developpers felt restricted by storage limits this studio dared to make it beyond anything conceived before. So any remake absolutely has to meet that standard in today's world. That means on every single level, graphics, bots, action sequences, it has to go beyond what's out there NOW. A very very tall task. I think it's worth the effort, and I would buy it. But it has to be done right. Not just thrown together with the bare minimum upgrades. Voice acting, motion capture, everything from the ground up reshot, take for take. This game deserves it.
I hope Sony can funded this game and provide technical support. Their entire studios have IPs keep them busy, I think the ideal decision is to get 3rd party indies studio to do it.

Yeah that model would def have to be changed...looks like a block. The camera needs to be zoomed out more as well
