Me and my brother loved this game as kids. We picked it up after seeing it behind the glass at Walmart. My brother begged my mom for it and she got it for him and we took it home and man..we loved it so much. We had a thing we called the "toy world" real subtle and original naming huh? Lmao but it was just our entire universe we made and played in whenever we played with our action figures and it spanned from the time i was old enough to talk until I hit puberty and lost interest in toys (my brother was 6 years older than me and continued playing with me and my younger brothers until he was well into his late teens because we liked it so much). So many stories in that pretend toy universe were told and you know what we had playing in the background on the tv as we played? The OST to this game, it means so much to me that someone is working on a remake even if it never gets finished. My brother passed away in 2020 at the age of 31. I miss him so much as I approach the age he was when he died. This warms my heart man, I know Im years late but thank you for working on this. Im a junior 3d character artist and if you ever wanna collab on something or just want some help with this if it's still being worked on, I'd gladly give my time to this project.

The remake it instead got was close to the original, just rebooted in the sense that nothing new or better was added or improved upon. I still have the PS1 and the original game, working fine, so that’s not the point. The point are the video output limitations and I don’t have a 21” 100hz 4:3 screen anymore. A remake should be like the FFVII one. With tons of new effects while it follows the storyline or perhaps expands on it in case there was content cut off from the original. Another game I’d like to see is Vanguard Bandits. Awesome game as well.

Personally, I don’t believe that a shot for shot remake with better graphics would add anything to the experience. The aesthetics of the original were perfect and I think that the ending doesnt leave much room for a great sequel but a dragon campaign prequel would be amazing.

I imagine the Legend of Dragoon remake is either looking very similar to the Final Fantasy 7 remake trilogy, God of War Ragnarok or, Tales of Arise.

Would love to see the FMV's updated in Hi-Def as well, but man, look at that gameplay!!!!

Are you the same creator that created the java install remake that actually works with the Gamepad, etc? Nice work. Looks like a bad ass mod on the entire game. I like how you used the same material editing the environment at the same pace the addl length an evolved replaced cutscenes for each. Great job.

Man, you actually nailed some of the aspect of the games animation. This game had weirdly fluid and cool looking movement that was fast and deliberate during some of the cutscenes. Darts animation when running away from Feyrbrand just looks cool with him ducking, rolling, and sliding. You nailed a good amount of aspects of that actually, despite this clearly being a very unfinished prototype. I find most of these unreal engine demos to be incredibly undercooked and souless, but parts of this one, I really like. Would love to see you continue this.

I love the game, but had to say that unfortunately this try didnt ended goog. Its good to see that there are still people that like this title and are trying to evolve or ressurect this great game. Its sad that the people responsible for the game creation still didnt understand our wish to bring back the game

this is so fucking beautiful, would way rather see something like this then some live action bullshit remake

If this game does get remade then they need to make it into an action/rpg instead of a turn based which would make the game phenomenally better and actual make the dragoon forms useful instead of just mostly useless. The game is already set up to be an action/rpg with its attack timing to execute your skills and it would make the game faster paced imstead of it being annoyingly slooooooooooooooooow which may be tge reason why the game did ultimately fail with its very slow random encounter battles which drastically slowed the game and made ut annoying traversing through.

Unreal engine 5 would be even. Better wheres the remake bluepoint
