- Here's another nostalgic cover from my childhood! This cover is about The Legend of Dragoon which is a role-playing video game developed and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation.
The original composers are Dennis Martin and Takao Miratsu.

This is just me personally...but I could've lived without a final fantasy 7 remake. Make a sequel or spiritual successor to this..

Darius Drake Square had nothing to do with Legend of Dragoon. LoD was and is a Sony made and published game.

Rumor had it that they had a 2nd game in the makes, however another rumor had been heard that a sequel would have been somewhat pointless because of how the 1st game ended (No Spoilers!) and also how Final Fantasy has pretty much taken over how JRPGs were fairing in those days. There has been scrapped assets but am not sure how Legit they are. I would have loved a LoD2, I just really hate this is a Gem among other games that are doomed to be forgotten.

I played this game for the first time as a small child. This quote honestly stuck with me throughout my entire life.
I have played 4 copies of this game to oblivion. Digital copies are played to the same end. I absolutely fucking love this game.

@@DavidHedriana fair warning, the final boss is the longest battle in the game. It took my brother about an hour and a half to beat him.
Actually 2021 and I'm about to start my... 6th playthrough of this game.
For over 7 years have I come back to this for my Legend of Dragoon fix. All the epic of the 40 hour game crammed into 11 and a half minutes of pure bliss. How has this not reached over a million views by now? Insane.

One of my most played and favored games of all time, I wish they would make a remake of it.
And here we are in 2020 without a legend of dragoon remake but I'm still waiting i know we will get a remake this 2020 or 2021.

I can still remember Lloyd taunting me with "Too Slow" and "Over here". Hated him almost all game for killing our bff Lavitz until the last part where we find out what he is really up to.

No, a remaster. Clean up the graphics, some of the voice acting and the translation errors.
Yoshida admitted. LOD2 was put into pre-production after he left the Japan Studio, but was eventually cancelled for some unknown reason, and the team members moved on to different projects. This was back in 2012 in like March-May time frame. It's a true shame, but at least LOD got put on the PSN site for digital download.

This is one I keep coming back to time and time again.
I normally don't go for metal songs or covers, but this game fills me with too much nostalgia and joy to ignore a dedication to it. I really loved this. Great job to all who were involved in the making of this! *applauds*
I bought my copy of LoD back in 2000. It is now 2013, I still play this game to this day and still think it's the best story in any game in history.
This is epic! Good to know that people still remember and think about this amazing game!

When they cancelled a LOD2 I was pissed for awhile now they need to make it for PS4 it would be great. Developers are stupid imagine the money they would make this game has a big fan following. I have beat this game 30 plus times.

I agree, but the developers said that the reason they cancelled making the sequel was because they couldn't think of a story good enough to do justice to the original. That's the most legit reason ever for not making a sequel.

I just replayed this masterpiece this week and I gotta admit, this as to be the best game they made on PS1. I finished it this morning and now i'm here, watching LoD videos on youtube and I'm still hooked to the world, the characters, the story and the music. I know I gotta let it go. But it's hard. This is truly an amazing game.

AW MAN this is so cool! I miss Legend of Dragoon, I wish they did more with that IP than just one game.
All of us do, unfortunately. But the way I see it, I'd rather it have ended with the one game than for Sony to have ruined the franchise with sequels that weren't as good. In any case, if there was a sequel released, I'd probably buy a PS4 just to play it.

im not big on metal but this was one of my favourite games and your take on the soundtrack is much cleaner (not so cluttered, I can hear each instrument) than the originals...Nice job!

I always had goosebumps when hearing the Dart's Theme so long ago. You gave it the strength it had, this cover gives all the themes so much energy. Nice job there.
