Thanks for sharing! Always great content. This is a brilliant design, a huge step forward in guitar work. I’ve ordered one and can’t wait for mine to show up. Cheaper than if I tried baking something like this, and US made. I love it.
Wow, I love this. I would cheaper by far for me to order one over engineering one and building it for myself. I’ve been wanting to do this for awhile. But I work by myself and I have become quite busy here in Canada at my Tech shop. I just don’t have the time. Besides, you have worked out the kinks. I did build a bench top neck/guitar holder that accepts both; bolt on necks as well as the entire guitar (electric and acoustic). It is used for fretting and manipulating stubborn necks that need help with truss rod adjustments. Would gladly share some photos if anyone is curious, or share a link where they could see it in action. It is simple but effective. I hope that the shipping and overall costs won’t put me back to square one on this. This is exactly the direction I’ve been wanting to go. Thank you! I will be visiting Total Vice.
Hi thanks! Is it possible to get big pics to see how it's made? Couldn't see from the video. I am currently building similar device but welding is not available😕
It would be easy to build if you had a fabrication shop, because it’s simple. But if you consider the costs of the materials(+shipping), all the specialty knobs, adhesive + urethane , fitting it all together and welding, plus the value of your time, you’d see that 199 bucks for the work station is a bargain.
SuperBadAss to bad hundreds of years thousands of luthiers and millions of guitars made without this adjustable vice stand to help anybody LOL I work on Mt bikes and seeing their stands drooling over them cause of many old back injuries and now working on guitars I would've thought for sure this invention would've bin made many decades ago. Well this should equil much MUCH more comfy happy capable workers who don't need a 3rd & 4th arm way less pain in the ass back neck & head aches plus guitars avoiding more damage from the work area has to mean the Quality of guitars will be superior. Ahhh The Golden Age of Maintained/Repaired! Guitars
Robert, I love your videos and I have learned a lot from them. But you have to upgrade your video and audio quality to catch up with modern times. Whenever I see any of your video thumbnails it looks like the video is 10 years old, even if it was recorded recently. Not only your viewers will enjoy better visuals and audio, you will also look more presentable, trustworthy and competent. Looks do matter, and in this case, it's the audio/video quality. Once again, thank you for all the good content you provided through these years!
I appreciate the feedback. I am first and foremost a luthier and instructor and struggle with technology. I have been doing RUclips videos since 2007 and the early videos left a lot to be desired. However, they have gotten better over the years. This video was a recording of a Zoom call. Those always have a less than desirable quality. Hopefully you can overlook that and focus on the content. Happy Building!
Wow, this is the best working station I ever seen. I want one for sure.
Love it! What a great device that addresses ergonomics! No pain means better work. Thanks
AWESOME! I WANT ONE!

Again and again and again... Fascinating! Reasonable price; no brainer gor a luthier imo.

Just ordered the complete kit. (3pc). I can’t build one for this price. And My time is too valuable
Wow. that looks amazing! Like a vacuum clamp but substantially less money.
That is a cool device. I'll have to make one or two.
Way cool! I always say that a typical work bench is the most dangerous place a guitar can be.....
Really like your jig can you do a mandolin or ukulele
Swis Army Vice. But wait! There's MORE! Coolness on steroids.
Very nice 👍 be nice for the paint booth to

I need one! Is there a European dealer?
Not that I know of.

BTW - If you have any advice on how to accomplish better audio and video quality, I am all ears and would appreciate your input..
Be on the lookout for a better mic👍🏻
