I’ve used the Samsung Q2U mic and my iPhone for recording voice overs and even used both when recording reaction videos. Great video and great mic! 👍
are you able to plug the mic straight into the iphone and record the video from the i phone and it will still capture the audio through the mic?

For a solo podcaster, does it make sense to invest in the Focusrite Scarlett Solo and Cloudlifter? I use the Samson Q2U, and I want to make sure I get the best possible audio quality. Or will the Samson Q2U work fine if I just plug it into my laptop via the USB cable and hit record?

At 01:18 you show it as a SAMSUNG mic not a SAMSON Q2U mic. Would you compare this mic to the slightly higher priced Samson Q9U. This was helpful. Are there other portable dual mic mixers similar to the Comica?

What mic would you recommend for iPad if I’m playing through a PA system 10-12ft from the mic?
Question: what if your iPhone input records up to 30 mins of video? My iPhone 11 only records up to 30 mins. Not sure if that is just the time limit or if I can fix that to make it unlimited? My podcast’s episodes definitely run much longer than 30 mins.
Also I use a Zoom LiveTrak L-8 to plug my XLR mic into to record. How can I still use this while connecting to a camera device to ensure quality sound is coming through video as well?

How do you use the back camera of your iPhone if you have a guest over Zoom? Especially because the mic will be connected to the phone correct? Don't Zoom calls use the front facing camera?

Heather Torres directed me to this video in order to answer my question about gear, specifically: Canon M50 (purchased through ThinkMedia link!) and two podcast mics.Hubby and I want to both be in the video/podcast and I will use my M50 to record. My problem is how to connect the two mics to the camera so that I don't have to sync the video and audio in editing. Are you saying that the XLR Cable and Comica Link Flex for two channels will do what I need to do? Thanks again! I'm looking forward to hearing back from you - I'm sure others are wondering the same!
I’m having a problem, when I connect the Linkflex AD3 to my phone, I get no audio at all, how have you done it to have live audio on your video, so that you don’t have to sync later in editing.
@@aleksanderdervishi8067 sorry to say but I don’t have a solution. I have taken the route of recording in QuickTime with one USB mic connected to my laptop that my hubby and I share. It’s not optimal but until my podcast starts earning income it will have to do!😊

Im very confused when it comes to setting up for podcasting. I am looking at the Rode podast mic, NT1 and the At2040/At2020.
I want a Mic that can connect straight to my Sony Zv1 camera for podcasting. I understand you need a USB mic for this.
If I need too, how do I use a Audio Interface/phantom power when the only equipment I have is the Sony Zv1 and a Mic. Do audio interfaces only connect to the computer or can I connect it straight to the camera? Cheers.
You mention recoding in mono allows you to adjust the levels on each person - you would actually need to record in stereo to do this, not mono

You don’t understand how this helped I have a condensed mic and I would have to hook up my Scarlett interface and sync audio with video (which I’m not that good at) now I kno I don’t have to do that. For future reference do u have a video on how to sync audio n video in Final Cut Pro?

So I bought the Samson Q2Us and the Comics Link Flex AD3. Only issue I am having is the sound quality when I use a 3.5mm to iPhone 15 adaptor is way worse than if I plug the AD3 straight into a laptop and use GarageBand. Any advise?

Love the video and simple info. I purchased all of the items from the video for a podcast. However, I am having an issue. The Comica Linkflex is not powering the microphones. I am putting it on Phantom Power and the indicator light is coming on. However, the mic will not power on. I connected the mic to a computer and it powered on, so it is not a mic issue. I am not sure what to do. I bought these items to use to begin a video podcast on my phone. Any help would be great. Thanks.
