I see I have to turn notifications back on for this one 😂 I seriously regret passing up the chance to buy one of these like 8 years ago.. I had no idea AWD swaps would be a thing with this platform. I may need to try to build one while it's possible 😭

Ive had my 05 Type-S for about 5 years now and I’ve always wanted to AWD Turbo it ! This right here is what i needed !!! Looking forward to seeing this thing smoke some V8s 😂
I’m super exited for this series, I’m a Honda but haven’t had one I’m over a decade. Maybe this will convince me to go back.
You need the K24 bottom end for AWD, its a must in my opinion... The torque makes a huge difference for driveability
Not really, the gearing and final drive helps the 2.0

@@ArtVandelayOfficial No, the k24 is significantly better down low for daily driving. Boost and gearing doesnt help really at all down low. Having that nice torque curve and great mid range makes a huge difference.
@@ArtVandelayOfficial Ive gone from a k20 with a g25-550, then a g25-660, and then swapped to K24. It made a huge difference in the driveability and was so much more enjoyable to cruise in. I didnt need to sit in high RPM for power and boost.. It was SOOOO nice.. Like the car just feels like it has so much more balls from the start. I have longer gearing as well and the 4.7FD and its just perfect. Even at 2K rpm is starts pulling due to the torque. Like Ill be sitting on the highway in 6th gear at 3500 at 80mph and it pulls HARD AF even in 6TH at lower RPM!..

@@igvtec awesome man! Im iffy bout AWD on my dc5 cuz it has only 59K original miles.. The build is amazing as-is and hooks up great without RWD.. Makes 430whp/360wtq.. Its on KproV4 and Hondata traction control and is tuned with boost by gear. My suspension is a Porsche Suspension setup from Bilstein.. B16 Bilstein coilovers with Damptronic system they use in Porsche and BMW setups.. Allows electronic dampening and ride height adjustment in-cabin. Im also runnin electric AC from a Prius and PS lol.. So no draw on the motor! The only thing I did to the chassis was have it professionally sound deadened. So its SUPER quiet and nice on the inside man. No drone, its nice and quiet with no rattling. All the doors, windows and hatch were all secured and I have full Hard-Race bushing kit. Its stable as a rock..
This makes me miss my old RSX(s). Thought I was done after my 3rd one but this gives me that itch again lol

I love my rsx type a. Quarter million miles all motor fun every time. Finishing som suspension then registering her on a race circuit so I can order the k20c1 or k20c3 😁😁

Just got done aligning my buddy's turbo AWD RSX today
When I bought my rsx I just heard the intake noise and new she wanted boost! Can’t wait till I can afford awd but my k24A8 on 16 psi is pretty damn fun as is
Dope choice. Makes me miss my first car from years back! 92 eg with b18c swap with bolt ons. I didnt know what boosted power was then, but boy i loved when vtec hit with that intake .. was nothing but smiles 😁

Plans look epic! The KLM sidewinder is really nice, I think you're going to have a hard time being able to wastegate enough off to keep the 6466 below 20ish PSI above 7000rpm. Really wild how badass the 6466 is, Gen 2 6266 held 1 Bar all the way to 9000rpm single 44 gate, 6466 was a totally different story. Not that a K20A2 can't do it for a while anyways though. I had to try to be stock motor conscious 😫
