Just wash your clothes with baking soda!!! I do it! My clothes are naturally brighter whiter and smells a true clean free of toxic synthetic fragrances. My washer is always clean from washing clothes in baking soda.
Jasmine Grace I have a one pound box, and I give it a good sprinkle around the tub, 1/4 of the box. I’ve been using Earth Breeze detergent sheets that are environmental safe and don’t fill the landfills with large plastic containers. Now I combine some baking soda along with a sheet so I use even less baking soda. Best wishes with it! Let me know how it works for you! You can always tweak it... use more or less depending how your clothes come out, and how they smell.

Instead of using toothpaste which is actually really toxic to our bodies, I dab my toothbrush into a jar of baking soda and brush my teeth with it. My family does this too and we all have good teeth and gums. I know it may take some getting use to it, but it’s worth the try and patience. Oh most important thing is to use the brand Arm and Hammer! They do not have aluminum in the baking soda as other cheap brands do. Our bodies do not need aluminum at all.

My washer was making a grinding sound when it spun. I found if you take the dasher off the bottom and in the there may white residue on the ring in the middle , you may need to scrape it off so the dasher can run freely again. You ought se a shiny ring. I think the water kind of calcifyies on it.

Any remedy for inlet water valve clog problem? The valve is working as i can hear its sound but water is not coming in the machine though the water inlet pipe has good pressure.
NEVER EVER do this what people don’t know that vinegar can eat threw rubber and a rubber tube is inside the washer machine to hold the water so by using vinegar you are actually dry rotting the rubber tube.

It's probably got stuff built in where it spins. I used all kind lime cleaner it doesn't get it out. Even let it soak. It is in drainage some where. I've have it for nearly two years. I still love though no matter what. 😊
I think bc the towel helps to scrub the inside. And when spinning the towel tends to stick to the sides and vinegar spins out into the outer tub. But if you just pour it likely only get the bottom
I will never ever wash my washing machine again after learning that EVERY SINGLE TIME I washed my clothes now, many small bits & pieces of grime (dirt) always comes out & stained onto my washed clothes. That makes it even more dirty than before washing the clothes. I have also asked friends who washed their machines before regarding the issue I have faced, they also mentioned the same thing occured, so we don’t dare ever wash our machines again to avoid & repeat the same silly mistake. No matter how many times we tried to water clean the drum filled with full tank of water, the dirt (bits & pieces) keeps falling off the internal walls of the drum and surely they will appear without fail. The best is not to ever wash the machine with anything.
Might have to call a professional cleaner. You might have alot of scrud build up in the tub and its not getting out properly. They can take apart the machine and use steam or pressure wash to thoroughly clean.
What a load of rubbish !!!! This cleaning method simply doesn’t, can’t, won’t work. As a washing machine repair repair specialist I’ve dismantled 1000s of washing machines, no amount of vinegar and bicarbonate soda will clean off soap or fabric softener buildup. The ONLY way to clean the outside of the washing bowl and inside of the wash tub is to dismantle the machine and scrub with a scrubbing brush

IMHO the best is either vinegar or citric acid. You need to use an acid based cleaner to break up the hard water mineral deposits.

Why not just put the baking pouder in with the sheets or towels and do the wash anyway. It's quicker.
My washing machine doesn't have the option of hot water so does it mean it won't be effective if I use cold water.

@@deeparaniraveendran8526 use it like washing powder. I use 2-3 Tablespoon for full load. Baking soda also acts as stain remover.
I also use borax with the soda. I learned this working in a group home. You can also get oxy powder at the dollar stores here and it works well too.
