To tie or not to tie

The Olympic high jump finale was a thrilling matchup between two guys who finished in a tie for the gold. Both of them decided to keep jumping until there was one winner. I would have definitely taken the tie! But these world class athletes wouldn’t be where they are if they had just a normal amount of competitive drive. Congrats to all the athletes, it was a great 2 weeks of watching
