Thank you to Dan and Karla for letting us tour and feature their new (to them) caravan. We love it! For those still in suspense….their rig was built in 2016!
I was going to say 2015, till I read your note. Now I am going with 2016. I like the hot water heating feature. I would not have thought the bathroom to have been so large. Very nice looking rig! Congratulations and many happy travels with it!
Your accent gets heavier when you go back to the UK lol 😂. That caravan is really cool. Has some great features that US RVs should have. What is the red triangle piece on the rims? Not the motomover but on the actual wheels itself.
Hahaha. This is a 2016 too. I’ve only seen those window blinds in the past year over here. Crazy! The triangle thing is a wheel lock. I think they have one on each side and a lock in the hitch too
LOL! When you asked us to guess what the handles were for, I immediately thought "patio". I thought you were joking when you said they were to push it! Thanks for the tour and laughs.
I can't believe it's a 2016! It looks to be in perfect shape. Congratulations on your purchase, Dan & Carla! Funny, the differences between Canadians & Americans. We call propane "gas" (and sometimes propane.) And we usually say "cutlery". "Silverware" to us, implies "the fancy stuff".. 😂 That awning idea is brilliant, as is the transformable couch (sofa, chesterfield.. 😂). Cheers! 🇬🇧 🇺🇸 🇨🇦
Yes silverware to us is the fancy stuff too. The stuff you would only get out if royalty came round 😂. Thank you for your comment 😊 we feel very lucky to have found a caravan that has been looked after so well.
Great video Laurence and Natalie! I love that you are in England or are back home in Us? I loved meeting Natalie’s family. Great Caravan. They need to make that here. I love it. It’s great condition too! Love that closet and the living space. And that bathroom. It’s nice love it. Thank you Laurence and Natalie! And Natalie’s brother and his wife. For the tour. Hope you enjoy time with your family. Love you both! ❤❤
We may do, but here in the UK we don't get many days of very hot weather. With this being our first caravan it will be interesting to see what it feels like travelling in the summer months. If it is too hot we will probably get a portable ac unit. The heating system does have options on the control panel for ac so we can install one of we think it's needed.
Ha ha ha no it's a 2016. Our caravans are very different to the US travel trailers or RVs. We don't have the roads or towing vehicles over here for anything much bigger than a twin axle. You can't tow anything longer than I think 7.5m without having a special driving licence.
Hi Dan & Carla, love your new to you Caravan. I’ll guess it’s 3 years old.? Yes UK caravans are much nicer than the travel trailers here in North America.
No idea the year but it was certainly well kept after. I lived many years in Europe but had never seen the inside of any of the RV's you folks have over there. I will say I was certainly right away impressed with everything. Plenty of room for a small family to tour with. The bathroom was very impressive. Curious to how many gallons/litres the cassette toilet holds before you have to dump it. I'm also a bit curious if a dump station is easily enough located over there? Thanks for the video as it was certainly enjoyable and safe travels.
We did a lot of searching for the right caravan. We had limited funds so we had to find one that gave us the most for our money. It's only had one previous owner who really looked after it. They were no longer continuing with travelling so included so many extra bits with the sale. From awnings, to new tires, new battery and alarm and tracking system and more. We were very lucky to find it. The lady cried as we pulled away and found it hard to say goodbye to it. They called it Alice so we are continuing with the name. 😊
What! The tent has curtains too! Lol ...only in the UK lol. I can't possibly guess rv yr, would have to been following rv's build in uk for yrs to do that, so I can only guess NA built rvs. Love their TT anyway. Being have no idea it's age, wonder do they still build em over there same way? 🍻
Hi 👋🏼 it's 8 years old. In terms of built quality, I believe the newer models are built in the same way. The Coachman have very little wood and advanced bonding technology to prevent damp.
I towed a UHaul trailer once that had a braking system that was activated by the pressure on the hitch. Unfortunately they lived up to their reputation for quality and after a hard stop when I came up on some traffic, it sprayed brake fluid all over the back of my tow vehicle. 😬
@@KC-pd1dh Indeed, the system on your caravan is way more sophisticated than the one on the cargo trailer I was renting. Not to mention maintained much better.

I like the tent area!
Really does expand the living space
It's cool that it can be moved around by hand! And that tent - way too cool! That was a really great towable - thanks for showing it 😊

I know, right. A little notice would be good 😂

Yes we had a lovely trip home. Glad you enjoyed the walkthrough 😃
Aw, thank you for your kind words 🥰 we love it too, and we can't wait to get out travelling in it.

You’re welcome for the kind words. Well deserved.
That was good yearr. They should have plenty of good
wear on that.
That's a pretty cool little caravan. Definitely wouldn't need my dually to full it around.
Nope so weird seeing brits use everyday cars 😂
Wow, I love the awning tent !!! Awesome ❤❤
Definitely adds a lot more space!
So many memories of driving the narrow UK road with every caravan in the UK in front of you. My guess is that is a 10-year-old caravan.
Great guess!!!! It’s a 2016 and amazingly immaculate!
Close, it's 8 years old
I have never see a Caravan before. I can't believe you can push it. That is crazy. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for watching guys 😄
Fantastic. Enjoy your travels Dan and Carla. Nice you have Steph there too. Love the caravan.
Thank you. We will let you know if we are ever in your area. We can meet up and have a cuppa 😊
That would be nice xx
Glad you enjoyed it Phil 😄

Wow the caravans are very different but had some great features. I think it’s from the 80’s

We love the European caravans. Enjoyed the video.

Holy Crap, that’s awesome.
Hi,
Thank you 😊 we can't wait to start travelling in her. It's actually 8 years old!

You should do some videos of how it’s like in the UK caravaning.
I think the folks over here would find it fascinating.
I'm not sure that we are naturals in front of the camera 😂

It has a 17.5lt waste holding tank and it's own 8l flush water tank.
Most sites have a dump station available unless you go completely off grid.

My question is, how come I had to take my shoes off for a tour? 😅
😂😂😂 because we had the carpets down when you toured it. For the filming, I lifted the carpets up for ease.
😂😂
Where is Dan's Brazen Brits shirt??? 😂
He has a hat lol
We need to get some! Send some over, and we will wear them when doing our videos for Adventures with the Carters 😊
