I met Ryan Sheckler at LAX Airport 12 years ago, he took a picture with me and also my friend. He talked to us for a little while because we were both getting on the same flight so we had time to wait.... I always have been a fan of sheckler ever since I saw almost round 3 as a kid...definitely the nicest celebrity/athlete I have met....
It is because he is truly good at heart.
Don’t let the game fool you, Sheckler was one of the gnarliest skaters period
His approach to viewing such a messed up situation proves that he is exceedingly well adjusted. No hate for the man who had his family scared for his brother's safety, just acceptance in the existence of irrationality in life that is unavoidable, a strength of character, the prioritizing of family, and without any apparent loss of perspective during the whole ordeal.
You can tell he has been traumatized by some of his life experiences from a young age. Seems like a really good dude though. Wish nothing but the best for him

Met Ryan in a Palm Desert or palm springs skate park about 20yrs ago, he used to frequent it alot. Every one had to wear helmets but he wouldnt. From what i remember, he was an entitled prick. Not very fun to be around

My younger sister had a stalker. It was scary. The police can't do much until it's almost too late. It went on for a couple years at least until he was finally arrested.

I grew up watching Ryan Sheckler on TV. About 19 or so years ago when I was 15 and he was about 13-ish I would watch over him and protect him because I loved him so much. And I do still love him, I feel like he is like my little brother almost. :) How old is he now? 30? I'm 34, my birthday is on July 30 and I'll be turning 35.
I remember meeting Ryan’s father (& Ryan) in San Clemente the mid 90’s when I was hitchhiking down the coast. His father was a nice cat & Ryan was tiny on his board. Good people to me & my friends. 🍻

He tells the story so straight forward, which I'm sure at this point he's detached from it so that makes sense, that it really takes away from how terrifying of an experience that was. It's one thing for a strange 1 time encounter, but to learn he was camped behind the mom's house is something from a horror movie. All it would've taken is Kane to get out of his mom's view and go play outside alone and who knows what might've happened

And you answered me and said: "Because its a car, and I can win it." You were a little bit rude to me that day but I have since forgiven you. I think you were only 15 then if my memory serves me right, and I was either 17 or 18 when I popped up out of nowhere and asked you that question.
