I got to cook for Ryan a few years back on his 28th birthday!! He was such a great dude and even tipped us 500$, super cool guy.
And u think ur service was good u deserve 500

Dewtour 2005 Baltimore. Ryan had just gotten done skating (teenager at the time) and he came to the stands to sign autographs. I was 5 at the time and my dad had me on his shoulders, Ryan walked through everyone to sign my hat. Something I’ll never forget
Ryan is an example of how you can get your shit back together no matter how bad you fell down
He went from bein the grom that the older guys took on tour, to being despised for 'selling out'.
It's good to see that he came out the other side, & has his head together.
The skills were always undeniable.
If you saw the mid-2000s excess, a lot of these people partied like it was never going to end. Culture changed so much, a lot of these people will never be that rich again.
Truth. But it didn't start in the mid 2000s, infact mid 2000s was so tame to the comparison of the 60s, 70s, and 80s. Especially the 80s. Oooof
Tony Hawk video game exploded, and a lot of big companies jumped in from redbull, slim jim, tech deck, Nike, x-games etc, and now even Olympics. A lot of them are still millionaires, but the older ones are way more conservative with their $$ due to lack of ability to compete.
Ya but Ryan is still rich af.. prob still one of the skateboarders with the most money other than Nyja

“Yea dude”
Wee man voice
I can't unsee this now.
IM DYING
This guy inspired soooo many teenagers. He don't even know it man. I miss this dude
Remember watching this guy on his MTV show as a teenager and even then he seemed humble at a young age. Iconic skateboarder forever!
Prodigy superstar as a kid... good to hear he grew up and has a level head on his shoulders.
Glad to see this guy winning again now that he has his life and priorities straight
Excellent excellent message that Ryan has here about materialism and how empty and unfulfilling that path and that way of life is. Once you have all of that stuff you will realize that none of it makes you happy, and a lot of times it actually makes miserable, and you will come to find that what is really important in life is the people that you love and the people who could care less if you had a dollar or ten million in your bank account. Make your life about the people you love and care about and would do anything for, not about things and possessions. Excellent message Ryan, I wasn't sure what I was expecting from watching him in this interview, but I'm walking away very impressed with what a great guy and great role model Ryan has turned out to be
Graham getting some amazing guests recently
Great questions I love his Class. Real gentleman.
Recently? I don't know who produces this program or if it's been his own production but he's had great guests for a few years now, i don't know that i can remember an uninteresting guest lol
I feel like I can listen to Ryan talk for hour's and still not get bored!
Clear headed and motivated. Love that
Love seeing this grown up Shecks. I lived that life of material things and partying from success in my art. I look back at it just like Shecks does. Material things don’t make you happy that’s for sure. I’m a lot older than Shecks but love seeing this guy become a man. San Clemente Boys represent! Hope you like the painting I put on your porch Ryan, “Keep Pushin’ 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Remember watching Ryan on MTV, my friend and I loved that show! Just based on their instagrams he and his family seem like a great group of people. Wish the best for him and them he has been a great role model throughout his life it can’t be easy!
I really enjoy Grahams interviews. He does a great job with his guests.
Sheck is a cool dude , met him in florida for a skate park opening when i was in middle school . He signed my creature bored with this girls mascara i was with 🤣 I appreciate that memory sheck!!
I met him in the aiport at chilis. He had a videographer with him. Dude was chill af.
ryan is a very nice dude met him at the dew tour in long beach.
This dude is so level headed and down to earth. This is so dope to see so many years later. He seems like an incredible dude regardless of how MTV or the media has tried to portray him in the past.
Any young skateboarder making that amount of money plus MTV show and sponsors like red bull . It would happen to any skateboarder! Much respect sheck you have always killed it on your board . Fuck MTV !
this kid had it all now he's grown and sees life from another level
i just got goosebumps hearing him talk about the movie the sandlot
Bruh same
All the great movie
Glad to see he has grown through out his life challenges. Rooting for you Ryan!

Spending money on worthless diamonds
I’ve never had so much money but I’ve accomplished things I thought will make me more happy or got to the day I thought will bring me the joy I was waiting for and than I realized nothing was different. Now I like to enjoy my day and try to remind myself what I got and how lucky I am.
Seeing Ryan working on a double chin has made me feel super fucking old.
He's still skinny and probably has low body fat because he's a professional athlete but it is weird that he has a double chin.
@@johnkoepke4807 That’s normal he was addicted to alcohol and when you’re an alcoholic your face blows up he is sober now but it take some time till the face looks normal again.

I hated him. Now I think he's cool lol
I took his order @ in n out a week ago🤣😭he’s a local in San Diego not gonna lie I turned into a kid again💀
I didn’t like him at all, til I met him at a plan b signing about 10 years ago. A lot of people said he was an asshole. He was by far the coolest and the most talkative person I met in that event. I was shocked and made me change my mind about him.

graham is the best interviewer cause no ego comes through ---
I love Graham’s energy when interviewing
Alot of skaters from the 90’s/00’s owe a debt of gratitude to Sheckler. He took a ton of hate back in the day and he is still just a straight ripper.
His house parties were legendary lmao
Graham is killin it!! I just smashed that like and subcribe!

Met Ryan in Austin in like 2012 dude couldn’t have been nicer
Dewtour Orlando 2008 we were sitting right behind his mom and little bro & Ryan (for a couple mins before he warmed up,) cool family. His mom was making sure to pass all the autographs around that she could etc etc. Glad to see he’s bounced back, I can’t imagine that level of fame we all saw him with at that age.
Best interviews period
Amen. The world and all it's materials never equals joy. Just short term happiness. Fulfillment is not found in the world. The more I search for it, the more it alludes me. But when I'm in service to others, God blesses me with it.

Met Ryan in San Clemente . Super nice guy .
Really down to earth dude! Glad he’s doing good.
He loved TNA just like any other young man
Total Nonstop Action Wrestling? Me too!
Life of Ryan Sheckler was on play back in my dish tv days
Love Ryan man 😎
Always been an inspiration.. Keep going on your journey Ryan! God sees you 🙏🏼♥️
Literally lived sandlot life from 11 to 14...wiffle ball...baseball...anything with a bat and ball we played every day all in the summer...and was the best times of my life....would do anything to go back
Love he’s honesty on he’s crazy cool 😎 life ….this kids really need to be given the benefit doubt, just 4 being so famous at such a young age with so much money 💰
Totally agree, it seems he’s matured and changed a bunch
Ryan is looking a fair bit buttery here. Being injured sucks.
He is still so upset with MTV and putting himself on tv and controlling how he looked through edit..you can tell
He’s very intelligent for sure
love sheckler! guy is a king and such a god on the board!
Met this guy in Cali dude is cool asf
I always wondered what happened to him I use to watch his T.V. show when he was younger with his family prodigy kid he had to learn things the hard way like so many kids at the age do with a incredible talent.
Go right ahead I remember the day that I skateboarded down the Intercoastal Waterway with Ryan we were on the ends of the Earth we were invincible
Growing up young I always looked up to this dude i eventually started looking up to less popular skaters
This guy is a legend

Starting a tattoo chain is one of the WORST things you can do, and trust that statement from all credible artists, Including me.
The man!
Never think back on things like that ruefully. Million down the drain? Aight. Was it fun? Would you do it again? Probably not, but that's a notch on the belt. A page from your book.
He said he wouldn’t change it
Exactly it’s just paper at the end of the day if you still rich and happy who cares
A Legend.👑
He's still a cutie
Running a chain of Tat Parlors
would be hell. Finding & keeping artists. Finding & keeping staff that are into working; not just into their own tattoos would be brutal!
Well, he would hire someone to do that. It would be grueling work if you were broke and coming up, but if you're in a position to hire the appropriate people to fill those roles from the get-go, you're golden.
@@daveristic7895
What?!?!
The problems outlined are for ALL Tattoo Parlors.
Not just a chain ran by him!
Duh.
Watch "Ink" NYC if you think it's a picnic. Although a "Reality Show" it REALLY went out of business.
@@saint6563 Duh indeed, you're not too swift are you? What I said was that he will sit on that couch, owning 1 (or 20) tattoo shops, while someone else runs them for him. He will never have to hire, fire, find staff, etc. He will hire people to do that. He has $$$ up front to hire someone to do that, so he will never have to go through it personally, his shop manager will. Lots of guys open their own shops and have to deal with the nightmare of staff, Ryan has $$$ to skip that step personally and hire someone to absorb those duties and the accompanying stress.
Have I spelled it out clearer for you now, or should I get a box of crayons?
@@daveristic7895
You still don't comprehend was highlighting the struggles of "ALL" Parlors.
Before you congratulate yourself you should know the average US Parlor in 2020 grossed about one hundred & fifty thousand dollars.

Was gonna recommend you have Bam on... but then I remembered hes a ticking time bomb rn. Always love seeing skateboarders on your show. They are always interesting and have great stories. I'm a skater myself so that could be another reason i enjoy it.
His MTV show was dope
broo, how do you not have a follow up question to " I spent 1 million on bottle service". There's gotta be a great story there.
Good kid. Really grew up.
7:00 when will someone tell that? Damn "I'm worst at what I do best and for this gift I don't feel quite blessed"
I remember when this kid came up I was like damn he's lucky. I was already an adult. Damn now we look the same age.
He is still a hero.... i hope he did good investments.
Hes iconic bro
he would change that el toro backside flip tho (come on someone had to LMAO)
If it's always mind over matter (we always hear that one) then why does material always dominate everyone's mind?
I regret the Daybreak in my two hands and I do not want to ever have to break my bones again
Rock on 🪨🪨 keep it up
I went to one house party with my boy he knew Ryan's cousin he flew us out to Cali and we party all weekend legend only if people really knew
I have to admit I didn’t like this kid when I was younger. We’re about the same age I grew up skating so of corse I knew who he was. It’s cool to see him now reflect and see himself the way the rest of us did. I give him a lot of credit he was famous at a young age and made it. A lot off ppl don’t
Haha had to wear that red bull hat huh
you're worth 12 million Ryan, you're good. you paid for experiences that most will never have. its ok
Right? Like why is there this weird psuedo sad vibe going? Shecks out here trying to be relatable because he wasted ton of money. He's still rich are we supposed to feel bad?
The internet says he's net worth is "12 million" but reality is, we are never sure of those amounts with any celebrities.
good dude God bless you Rye.
And skate but remember this don't break your bones and if it becomes something that you think that you don't want to do anymore is okay don't listen to the showboat and the ones that want to go out and pump you up to break your leg and bones
13 to 23 dude MOST PEOPLE WORK 20 TO 40 YEARS
Bottle Service is the biggest ripoff on the planet.
I have no idea what bottle service is
And I’m 60
@01:35 so true
People saying material wealth will never make you happy have never had nice things
I always wondered why Ryan wasn’t as big or I didn’t see him as much as I did on camera. This makes sense now. Drugs and alcohol ruin lives. Ryan could have been so much better now then he is. He’s broke now compared to what he use to have
If sheckler sees this post a tat shop up in Indianapolis
This is the importance of teaching your kids financial literacy
I got a question for everyone in the comments.
Why do celebrities wear a red bracelet?
Because as a critical thinker I like to question things. When I see something over and over and over again in a select small group of people, I question.
If you watched him back then you knew this was going to be the result
What result he's still rich af. I miss where I am supposed to feel bad for this guy. I also dont understand why hes trying to feel bad about himself. If I blew a million partying I would sit back and be like yo that was crazy not sit back and be sad.
If anything I would say his life has gotten happier. His parents aren’t constantly fighting, he’s still rich, he’s got amazing sponsors, he’s good with his brothers, and he’s got a nephew now.
Ryan Sheckler has the Bitcoiner attitude. Respect
I'm not knocking this guy, because I've blown money on things I wish I didn't. But, life lesson #1 is certainly that there is NO reason to buy bottle service, VIP sections, and all the other bullshit in clubs that make everyone feel important. You're only being ripped off by the club and all those people that sit in those sections are d-bags. You want to see a concert or ballgame from the skybox once in awhile, maybe to have your own area with friends and a dedicated bathroom, vs jammed into a crowd? That's something cool to experience, if you get the chance. But, clubs are pointless anyway. They're a money suck. And everyone in there thinks they are WAY cooler than they are - especially the ones sitting ten feet away from everyone else, behind their little velvet rope of importance.
Uncle Ryan!
It’s not a waste if you enjoyed it
