'Why do we not change?'

By changing society , we cant change , because you have created that society
I watch my confusion, but I still remain making the same old mistakes. I'm just more aware now each time I am stupid. Now I know. Before that, I was not aware, and being more aware now of my terrible self, brings even more guilty and remorse.

After listening to Jiddu for almost 10 years, I realize this is his most important critique of the civilised society. We're a petty culture.
does the cimpanzees xulture differ from ours? have we grown for the better or evolved? man can move at he speed of sound and the shattering of his nerves causes ptsd and discontent, roadrage. humanity transmits ideas at the speedof light with the gift of electricity and internet in essence an interdependence that w. durat spoke of and d. eisehauer warned us of, a double edgwed sword of our own enmity against ourselves.

K say don't compare. Just listen . Don't try to see how much similar it is with you. What are you comparing with? Is it with you? Remove you. Remove ego and accept things as it is.
You may reject or accept which doesn't matter. Just accept as it is.

Don't worry. It's only your mind saying 'it's difficult'. Just observe that thought, and then say 'OK, thought, no problem, you're there", and let it go on its merry way with other thoughts). The' judgy' thoughts are the hardest. But they're still thoughts. The 'thinker" is just another thought!

I watch my confusion, but I still remain making the same old mistakes. I'm just more aware now each time I am stupid. Now I know. Before that, I was not aware, and being more aware now of my terrible self, brings even more guilty and remorse. The more I know about myself, the worse I feel. Perhaps I'm a lost case.
If you are feeling guilty, then there is not complete awareness.
Word here is 'complete' awareness of the thing..
It will make us free.
I appreciate your openness and honesty. I think it's true that we feel more terrible than earlier with awareness. But this is logical. Because, earlier, there was not much awareness, but now it's there. So, it's natural you sense more pain or suffering or stupidity. Now, I think this is an indication of the door opening. For the first time, you are allowing genuine feelings to stay on. Now, the task I guess, is to be and see what these feelings are and try to sense their movement. Perhaps, that may lead to understanding.
Constant/Change, finite/infinite, success/failure, the relative temporal minds can never enter the pathless land. Life is the manifestation of the essence of actions past. Only by cessation of this "I-ness", this " I-am-changing-something-so -I-can-achieve-something" planck time, torrential mental formations can true actions move, presently. Hard/simple but absolute. Thanks K and friends.
'Changing ourselves' doesn't exist, you have to understand yourself and know our capabilities to develop our way of thinking.

but what about the actor the memory i mean i wanna focus on my studies right now coz i wanna secure a seat in an medical college which is the memory but distractions r keeping me busy if ill forget/ remove the memory the distractions will win which r obviously self created and an memory too how do i deal with it plz help!!!
Honestly, I never understood this "challenge of change". "Change" from what into what? Become a "better" and "humble" human? Change the structure of the brain?

Jk was a explorer of the inner world of man. He used & followed up nicely framed questions as tools to explore this world. Jk was not a guru because he never provided answers . He encouraged his listeners(not followers) to explore jointly with him. It must have been fun & serious both at the same time to be with such great mind. 😀. by change I mean a more loving and able , to make the difference for others, at any time. I'm in the conflict of not knowing how to scientifically achieve a high state of consciousness . people need to go through what they go through to be able to understand how to help other people. we are not able to change something that is concrete y would we be freed from fear this is not too lead to hurting someone or attachment or carrot. fear is a help at most points of our lives. I'm confused by the cause of everything, was is it not something that changes with us and for us . we should and I do not live were I am when I want to be nor when I could.

its a very deep intelligence jk is referring to. I suppose we can and do change our minds/thoughts/feelings all the time. Often we change them consciously too. we can rid ourselves of harmful habits and practice good ones, but What i'm hearing is that this too is just a continuum of the same mind that'.s going through suffering. I think i was hearing that the END of change is the real revolution

Don’t seek for answer ,he is the man to help us explore and figure out by ourselves it while your questioning it, bcoz any answer statement given by others will create conflict with your way of exploring answer, it requires great deal of enquiry my friend, merely finding factual answers won’t lead you anywhere my friend
