On the contrary, people play stun, stall & burn because they're burned out of so much snaking. The video reveals just that. Three duels, three snake suckers.

"It's boring" well, arguably, boring is watching someone combo for 10 minutes across from you and it ends in the same end result as Stun except I don't waste your time when trying to lock you out of the game. Oh and I don't pretend that playing a flowchart is a testament to skill. I'd also never downplay my deck and say "it's fun for my opponent". Like fireking spell that pops, icarus attack for winged beast strategiesetc. Those cards are still versatile enough to cover multiple decks they face while having main deck outs to this type of floodgates and opression they face at times.
I've started main decking spell and trap removal but it doesn't always save you. Not only can you only play so many before it fucks up your own deck's consistency, it's hard to destroy as many spell and traps as they can produce. Runick recycles and can protect floodgates, the new version of the paleo deck recycles from GY as well and many of these decks can play all the pot cards and demise for draw power. These decks are engineered not to be too affected by your opponent's intervention
I’m sure people wanted to play decks like this in Tear Format, but Perlereino being MST every turn and heartbeat being somewhat searchable s/t removal meant it wouldn’t actually have the desired effect. Even before the Ishizu stuff let you trigger Planet on demand, people had the answers - after Mine Burn won a YCS at the start of POTE format, a lot of players opted to main Jet + Smashers (to search with Elf/Gigantic) for an additional out accessible in-engine. I get it. I finally get it. Stun doesn't exist solely just to punish the top decks. It's to punish Konami. It's their fault they're printing these pushed cards. It's their fault for keeping these cards still legal. And now they suffer the consequences of having innocent players punished by boring, frustrating, and uninteractive games. It's a shame they still don't seem to care...

Hope you had fun at Philly!
I been watching for the past 5 years now.
Last year, November, my dad passed of lung cancer. From 2022, November, all the way until now, your channel has been so important in helping me stay positive during this time.
These videos are Always the highlight of my week for the past 1 and a half now, and will probably always continue to be
Finally a good tmt
The Runick deck pissses me off the most because the Runick engine is inherently broken on it's own (a draw 3 recycle every turn while playing spells from hand and banishing your outs from deck is nuts) but putting floodgates in it feels like a crime
i'm tempted to report this video for showing gratuitous violence in third-degree burns
Boring is subjective. I think ruining the day of tier 0 players to be quite fun
I knew this couch would star in a skit soon enough
"Oh No" indeed...this is really what it has come down to, huh?
When you’re broke, you do what you can
My fav deck to go against the sickening fire boredomness
I know it’s unlikely to be the case but I really wanted dogmatika extra deck removal to be a good stun option.
I prefer to call this group of strategies Stun, Trap, Damage or STD for short
These matches... I guess the only thing stronger than money Is the hate for humanity
It's a shame they still don't seem to care...
if you look at it from a objective standpoint, like many people say in the discord servers, this does the same as a full combo 10 min 5 omni board..... you cant play the game, same as when you try and oponent opens 4 handtraps and popular in hand, so it all just went full circle of post agov meta of every deck abusing a lock. And thats the win con of 7 decks rn. ehh is fine at least they finally ban all 60 carrds that should have never existed in first place.
the fact that this ISN'T the April Fools video scares me💀
"runick will never be relevant as a mill strat it's just 20 instant fusions"
Jeff Lenard approved😊
Its so over for our beloved card game o7 rest in peace
This is what happens when you print a crazy high rarity deck thats just better than everything else. Welcome to the dark side.
4:17 ngl one of my favourite books that i read recently is "the long way to a small angry planet" by Becky Chambers
I'll be woods'd ten thousand times over before I even consider playing any of these decks
am i the only one seeing the irony of joe dropping this vid, right after the latest ep of progression?
trying to send a message to a certain someone, eh joe? :D
