Actually in real life safiye and kosem were ok with each other, kosem regularly visited her in the old palace. There are some mistkakes in this video but still enjoyable to watch!!

according to achille de harley it was mahfiruz."not son living sultana but eldest name osman, orphan, of his mother for the ten years". letters was send by ambassadors 1615
1615-10=1605(august 1605), some historians thought that mehmed was born in 3/8 august 1605 mayby it was change for another sehzade whose name is unknown. he had two sons from the dead sultana and two by the living one. source also said that second sehzade died soon.

There are so many wrong information in this video. Mahfiruze gave birth only to Sehzade Osman in 1604 and Sehzade Bayezid in 1612. She died after having complications at childbirth in 1612 so she cannot give birth to Sehzade Huseyin in 1613 and neither Kosem could as she was was pregnent with Sehzade Selim at that time. Kosem gave birth to 8 children, Sehzade Mehmed in 1605, Fatma in 1607, Ayse in 1608, Haanzade in 1610 (most probably daughter of Kosem), Murad in 1612, Selim in 1613, Kasim in 1614 and Ibrahim in 1615.
Gevherhan, Suleyman, Huseyin and Atike are most probably born from other minor concubines. Atike is not the daughter of Kosem unlike the series as she was against Kosem throughout her life and neither she was the daughter of Mahfiruze as she was already dead at that time. Haanzade too couldn't be Mahfiruze's daughter as Harem register mentions no child of Mahfiruze born in 1610. Gevherhan couldn't be a daughter of Kosem as she was already pregnent with Mehmed when Gevherhan was born. It was also mathematically impossible for Mahfiruze to give birth to Gevherhan as she was born between Osman and Mehmed's birth.

Later Hanzade (1609)
It's possible that orhan and Selim was also hers.
As orhan was born ( Between 1612-1617)

Well, she was powerful as a Valide. Hurrem was the only woman of Suleyman and she was able to rule the state while Suleyman was alive. Kosem wasnt as powerful as a haseki sultana.

There were two major problems with the ottoman royal family. If those two problems were fixed then most of the family politics, backstabbings & toxic conspiracies could have been prevented.
1. The first problem was that the Sultan had a huge Harrem with multiple slave women & the sultan was meant to sleep with them all. So the Sultan was just banging around 😂 & infecting everyone with his sperm. Now when you have multiple sons from multiple different women then it’s natural that those women have jealousy among themselves & they conspire against each other in order for their own sons to ascend to the throne. So all the toxic drama & conspiracies between the concubines could have been prevented if the sultan didn’t exploit dozens of concubines & remained faithful to one woman only & didn’t behaved like a hungry dog.
2. The second problem which caused all this drama & mess was the fact that according to the ottoman tradition once a male heir ascend to the throne then he is supposed to KILL ALL HIS BROTHERS, it was done to prevent civil wars. Because if the other brothers were alive then they would want to overthrow their brother or atleast want a share of power which would give rise to civil war’s & political turmoil. So to concentrate the power solely in the hands of one Sultan, the sultan had to kill all his brothers.
Now the reason this caused drama was because as I mentioned earlier that the sultan was injecting everyone with his sperm so there were multiple concubines with sons, all of them were each others step brothers & sisters. They were all rivals for the throne. So every single concubine understood that her son have only two choices, either he will be a Sultan or he will die. So each concubine try to protect her sons & it was a survival battle, it was pure Darwinism, the survival of the fittest. The strongest woman would make her son ascend to the throne & all the rest who were weak would be eliminated. This gave rise to a lot of conspiracies, because every one was conspiring against each other. As their survival was at stake.
Honestly, if the Ottoman Empire could fix these two things then there would be less drama, and the family relationships would not have been so toxic.
Turhan did nothing to kosem sultan. At that day Turhan hid in her room. Turhan was weak and unable to defeat the powerful valide sultan. The reasons are different.
