To the cash checks and quarters I would add, carrying some laundry detergent and making sure that the cash has some small bills. Sometimes you get to a laundromat, and they don't have soap in the dispensers - or it's gawdawful expensive! Even if we go to Europe, I learned to carry a bit of detergent (I use soap sheets, so easy and portable. I went to a laundromat in Berlin once and was confronted with a wall full of very high-tech electronic soap dispensers which I didn't understand how to use. So much easier to have your own on hand. But the small bills are great if you go to a campground and there's no host and they want you to leave the money in a dropbox. Once we forgot to bring our checkbook, and that way we were able to leave exact change for the night's stay.
You're a rock star, Cass, good to hear from you again. Trust me, lots of us are aware of the issues with our pets, it's not for the faint of heart. Take care and be safe!
Me also. It's nice to see you again. I'm glad your little friends are doing well in the camper and that you are enjoying it also. I especially enjoyed your comments about off line maps. I need to learn more about that. I fairly often simply have no internet access.
Great tips I’ll have to remember when my journey starts. I’ll be going with my 2 cats and Luna is 13 years young and she’s enjoyed camping when we had the travel trailer and I can’t wait to take her back out into the wild…..of the campground.
Great to have you back. I can't stomach instant coffee. Too many c-rations back in the day, I guess. We do pour-overs (metal basket over mug) when we're traveling and we save the grinds in a container until we can dump them. Congratulations on finishing your masters!
Takes up some fridge space and if you like hot coffee it's obviously not an option but fridge cold brew works wonders when traveling! I make it once every 5 or so days and just take a couple seconds to make my coffee with it every morning.
Hi Cass From your video I got the coffee brew buddy for teardrop camping sooo easy! I’ve given a few to campers I meet. Your tips are great so I found a better way to use the brew buddy. Turn it inside out so the ring and name side goes in and the smooth side is facing out. This way the ring keeps it from sliding off your cup but the best part is when you filling it acts like a funnel and no run off and you go to the top of the brew buddy you still have room in your cup for milk or to add the lid without spilling.😊 I like using the brew buddy I use it all the time at home as well. Your videos are great and now I have the best simplest way to make coffee. Mike from Hanover PA
I totally agree on having waterproof mattress covers...ask me how I know. Same with change for the laundry...ask me how I know. Had to change our truck camper sheets twice in one week with a sick puppy. Great post.
Oh gurl, I’ve fancy smancyed with my coffee in the past but now that I’m living in my trailer fulltime, I cannot underestimate instant coffee. I found Death Wish instant coffee at Safeway = GAME CHANGER when up early for hiking. Thanks for sharing…great minds think alike 🤘
+1 on the SBUX instant coffee: My go-to over many years of tent camping. Yes, pour-over is better, but instant is SO much easier and SBUX is actually quite drinkable.
Good to hear from you again, glad you're having a good time. Remembering the cash, quarters, and checkbook was something I had to recall last year too. Checks were needed to pay for water/dump fee at NFS campgrounds, and quarters for laundry (thanks for the reminder I need to restock the trailer with them.) You mentioned Starlink... Have you converted your Starlink to operate off 12 volts or are you running it off the router and inverter? Can't wait to see where you are next, so until next time... Travel safe.
So nice to see you again! Thanks for the travel info. Congrats on the near completion of your Masters Degree! Hope to see you, Jasper and Napoleon again soon!
So good to see you and Jasper and Napoleon...been wondering about you and it's great to see you out and traveling. Congrats on your Masters, what an accomplishment! Napoleon reminds me so much of my dear boy named Lola, he was almost 19 when we lost him. Give him and Jasper extra kisses for me.
I always enjoy your videos! Definitely good tips. My wife and I have done lots of truck and trailer camping with our dog and so far no "mistakes" inside the camper. Looking forward to more videos from you!
I love Starbucks Instant Coffee too! I just recently tried it as an alternative to the gross coffee at work and wow! It's much better than expected. It always tastes really fresh and zero grounds to throw out. I love that you mentioned it haha ☕️

Have you tried Mount Hagen instant coffee? It is the best and comes in a jar so you can add more to make it stronger than the individual packets. For your dog you could try a labeled dog water bottle to pour the left over bowl water back into and you need this hiking in the desert anyway and a collapsible bowl that packs up with it.
Hi Cass and the Beautiful fur babies, so good to see you back. You are making Great videos. I hope you don't give up U-Tube when you Graduate. Congratulations on your Masters to. You and your Beautiful fur babies would be Missed. God Bless you All.😭🙋♀️
Your dog/cat bridge looks like its working really well. So glad. How are you liking Starlink? In Jasper NP too many of the campgrounds are in trees. Go to a parking lot and I saw so many day parked RV's with a Starlink set up. Safe travels.
Aside from the types of rvs cooking at homes cleaner healthier and adds up a lot in today's prices makes up for gas car payment and insurance instead of eating out and avoids getting sick it's fun to eat at places though it's a routine thats good for traveling

Five years into my instant coffee journey and no regrets. Uses only the water you're going to drink. I did have a spill of it once that spoiled by Dyson vacuum, but that was a bit of a fluke.
You should try Starbucks instant in a can. 40 servings per can. Three flavors. Dark, medium, & blonde roast. It runs $11.99 per can but can find on sale frequently at $6.99 a can. I use it now for my main coffee, and I’ve been a lifelong coffee snob!! It’s awesome

Hi Cass! Great tips and it was good to see you're all doing well. I love the Starbucks Via Instant coffee as well; it's delicious! Tastes just like brewed to me, and that little packet easily makes 15 oz cup of coffee for me. They say it makes 8 oz, but that's way too stout lol. Can't imagine not having waterproof covers for a mattress and seats in your vehicle as well when you have pets. They're worth every cent and then some. Hope your last class goes well - bet you can't wait to be done. Safe travels & stay well.

Great content and as always, good to see you and the kids out again. As to coffee, might want to try some of the coffee bags (like tea bags), I have used some given to me that were from Japan. They’re a little pricey for me but can you really put a price on a great cup of Java? And congratulations on achieving your masters in the coming months. Well done.🫡
