I’am 33 years old , Started to deal with early symptoms of Sciatica in early January burning in left leg , I started to search on internet what is happening with me find some tricks that’s i belief helped me controlling the situation here my routine : 1- don’t lift any heavy things give your self rest. 2- no sugar at all (white sugar) 3- drink green tea 4- no meats or milk or bred in first stages only fish and chicken vegetables with rice. 5 - don’t fries food when cooking 6- drink water - I only eat breakfast and lunch, no food in the night . 7- exercises for sciatica save my life ( cobra exercise + others you can search on RUclips) 8- walk daily 9- don’t exhausts your self physically ever 10- when you want to take thing from ground sit on your fit and take it safely. -Don’t stand or sit for long time Conclusion: eat healthy + exercises Daly 3 times if possible + avoid sciatica triggers + when doing exercise observe carefully what exercise working with you and add it to your daily excel ice routine. And with all due respect, i totally agree with you. Without seeing a patient from your side or having a thorough assessment on the client /patient will not be easy to diagnose which type of supplement best work for each individual.
I have had an auto accident and have had sciatica nerve pain for almost 30 years. It has gotten so much worse that I just can't handle the pain any longer and am not able to sleep at night because of it. I have gone to many doctors with no help. I'm going to TIRR in Houston, Texas soon. I pray they I can get some type of relief. I just read about Alpha Lipoic Acid. I just started taking it August 27th, 2023. Thank you so much for the video I found of yours. I'm going to see what I can do since I'm in a wheelchair. Thank you so much because this is one pain that is unbearable.

A good chiropractor can adjust you & relieve pain. Your hip or pelvic could be put of place from accident. A massage right before chiro relaxes muscles so adjustment stays in place
I am 65 have had bad back pain best exercise is useing a tetter inversion board yes i use magnesium and fish oil put the magnesium in oatmeal in powder form a good gently chiropractor also and epi shot to lower back done in a doctors office
Thanks, I have combined Mag. and the B vitamins. I have noticed a huge drop in my pain levels without any OTC pain drugs. This has also helped me sleep 😊
May I ask approx. how long it took for you to notice a drop in pain levels? Today I bought all the supplements mentioned and started today. I don't know if my situation is common, but I have a pinched sciatic nerve, where it has also triggered a muscle spasm in my leg. This isn't new for me, but the intensity is. Worse ever! At least, doing the proper exercises has helped a lot. So I hoping that these sups and continued exercising will resolve this.
Can you explain what the purpose of rubbing down with rubbing alcohol does. Anxious to know. Suffering with neck shoulder pain. I kind of remember hearing in the past of rubbing rubbing alcohol on the body do you use a certain strength

I'm really pissed off that my own chiropractor nor family dr have mentioned the benefits of magnesium glycinate. Check with your doctor first if you feel you need to, but I just started taking two, 240 mg tablets a day and in just a couple of days it's like a miracle. I've been suffering needlessly for years!

I've been diagnosed with this in the L4 L5 I've had EMG test I have pinch nerve on both sides. The surgeon says he could do surgery but it wouldn't help. Wouldn't explain. All he wanted to do is give me shot for pain..

You need to try everything possible. Somethings will work and others won't work. Also check the mattress on your bed. Try anything that will reduce inflammation. I've been struggling with it for 3 years and it's actually getting better. Good Luck!

I have major back problems. Years back had surgery for ruptured disc and downhill since. Going to Dr today worse pressure in back weakness down legs and sometimes burning in back. I have listened to many PT and had PT but been a while. I’m thinking it could be sciatica. The weakness has always been in both legs and my left foot has a numb feeling. Just woke up awake ago and I could feel the pressure in my back so much worse and my legs felt worse so do not know if this is sciatica or it could be something else in my back another back condition. I need to find out what I need to do now, do you think I should have an MRI? I had one three years back.

Hi Dr Posa ,i just want to ty for the helpful information, bad sciatic pain amd now its shooting into my spine past 2 days , been putting off past 3 months going to chiropractor because we recently moved to racine wisc and so there fore do not know any chiropractors here very touchy ,,, but i will today any recommendations as far as a reputable chiropractor in racine area by chance oh man when it shoots into the spine like you stated big nerve there oh my stabbing pain 😢
I tried taking vitamins, many years ago, but they tend to make me really quick easy. Any recommendations.

7 Months ago i got myself a herniated disc with sciatica and now i have a lateral shift and cant straighten my back without severe pain. Next week i am starting my physiotherapy, i hope this will save me, cause life with sciatica pain sucks.
You can! Just do it with a meal and I would take them at your first meal and or lunch time. Limit anything too late.
Are you able to get to a chiropractor? If you need rehabilitation I would suggest physiotherapy but not for sciatica
@@drmatthewposadc Yes, i am starting to do both. 2 times a week i do physio and 2 times a week im going to a chiropractor.
And in addition to that, even the type of therapy, it has to be properly screened prior to the program.

Hi everyone, do your research on seamoss. It's excellent in regulating the nervous system and it contains vit b, high levels of selenium along with magnesium. Keep away from diary products like milk and meats. No sugary foods. Add turmeric and ginger teas.

I have major back problems. Years back had surgery for ruptured disc and downhill since. Going to Dr today worse pressure in back weakness down legs and sometimes burning in back. I have listened to many PT and had PT but been a while. I’m thinking it could be sciatica. The weakness has always been in both legs and my left foot has a numb feeling. Just woke up awake ago and I could feel the pressure in my back so much worse and my legs felt worse so do not know if this is sciatica or it could be something else in my back another back condition. I need to find out what I need to do now, do you think I should have an MRI? I had one three years back.
