It pains me to know I won't be able to get the "T"shirt, though I enjoyed the series that you and your Agents put together in making the classic run, drive, and look good again. I never thought I would care about a Ford ever again after having bad experiences with 3 of their cars, but this one found a space in my heart, which is usually reserved for MoPars and certain GM products. Know that I will continue to watch and enjoy #coldwarmotors, because whether it's a 15 min short or a full hour, it's time well spent. Good on that Plymouth still getting up and going, hope I can do that when I'm over 70, lol! P.S. How does one become an Agent & and are numbers assigned? Cheers!

You gotta have pieced Your live together before having capacities left to give away. In a financialized, cannibalistic, neoliberal world most people don't have anything left to give even way before they could call their life halfway "pieced together". You gotta move to an environment like rural Alberta (plenty of places like that worldwide) where every pretty girl and every "promising young man" leaves for the shiny cities as soon as possible and never comes back until the funerals of their elderly relatives start to happen, should You want a circle of friends like that. Not many people are able to see that fact, let alone fathom it to its depths and consequently make that move into the dead angle at the end of the cul-de-sac.

@@mr.goodpliers6988 I always was the one helping out, tried being that one wherever I lived, grew into being the one with the tools, the one with the connections, the single one who was easily asked for help anyway because no wive was menacing and nagging him for helping out until 3'o clock in the morning (living in 3 different European countries during the last 40 years, so I didn't exactly stay, either), and it got worse for people _not_ living in the dead angle all the way down the cul-de-sac with every crisis, with every neoliberal austerity notch their personal noose was put higher up, with every "reform" and every "groundbreaking change" no matter where You looked at.
I was the promising young man who did not live up to the elderlies expectations right before their nose because I did not want _any_ role in their rigged game already with 16 back in the seventies, and still I am suffering that car-guy-lonelyness by times, for nobody of my aging peers hanging in their nooses got time for anything until they find themselves in the oncologist's examination room ....

My maternal grandparents had a medium blue one of these short 1950 Plymouths. It is one of the cars in my earliest memories. They bought it new and used it until 1966 when they bought a medium blue Valiant to replace it. Grandma insisted that it was exactly the same length as the '50. This was important to them because the car needed to fit in their Model T garage. Your '50 is one of the best sounding cars that you have.

We bought a 1950 Plymouth out of a barn around 2003. No one else showed up at the farm auction who wanted it and I think my dad got it for $200. It had started life tan, then been bumped in the front fender. It had a replacement 49 fender installed, close enough if you don't look close enough. The car was painted light blue (the correct early 50's shade, not baby blue). The upholstery was still decent and the dash was absolutely mint. We had bought a 6 volt battery for my 1949 Lincoln Cosmopolitan, so I switched it into the Plymouth. It cranked over. Before we ever got it to fire, the weep hole of the water pump became a mini orange waterfall. We ordered a new one. Had to call around to order, but they still got one in. In the box was an instruction page. "Warranty voided if cooling system is not flushed clean first". Well that was the end of the fun. The best thing I knew to do was remove the block and tip it on end, filled with acid. Working on a rock driveway with winter approaching, was not going to happen. We rolled the car back in our family storage barn and there it still sits two decades later

Scott, great to see Frankers feeling her oats again! My aunt sold her 51 Plymouth 2 dr to my mom and dad for $235 in 1957 when I got my drivers lic. They wanted me to have wheels so I could run my older sister (who never got her lic) around town. That unit would do 50 in 1st + 70 in 2nd until a rear end collision took it out of service. Went through a couple of Fords + a 48 Chevy coupe until the early 60s when my uncle gave me his 52 Plymouth. Drove it through grad school and married my 1st wife whilst that unit still carried us everywhere. Over 110 grand on the clock and it started every morning. Not surprised your 50 cranked right up! It's their nature to never quit. Thanks for the memories! Cheers!

My neighbor bought a 1950 Plymouth exactly like yours. He was tickled pink about it because it had been modified and except for the Porsche red color the previous owner had painted it (and the duel exhaust pipes) it was a sleeper. The interior had been redone and the electrical was upgraded to 12Volts but nothing else was fancy. A new standard looking headliner, seat covers and new rubber mats had been installed. the steering wheel had even been left original. What made this car surprise everyone was when it started and idled. A blueprinted 426 Hemi was shoehorned into the engine bay. No one would have ever known it either from the exterior as the car had its front springs replaced for the extra weight.

Wow! New gravel for the driveway! Less Mus and less Crud! Great to see the old Plymouth run again Scott. Basic engines were easy to trace any problems back then. I remember how exciting it was back then to change a plug wire and stop the miss. Thanks so much for sharing! Hello to all your Buds for bringing life into the show!

Its a fine line being able to keep the old stuff running and not nickeling a guy to death. The fifty plymouth is a very well liked body style so maybe some day floors, the A, B, and C pillars all need rebuilt, the tail pan, probably trunk pan, ..... and then the glass and some little bits on the fenders... oh and probably exhaust work, so the rest is okay/LOL Must be getting close to startup on the V8 challenge

Loved how we started out and I'm thinking oh an update on the CWM HQ, loads of aggregate, the Bobcat ready! Then we move into the "main" job.... Fixing up the Plymouth 😂😂. Lovely car hopefully one you'll find time to lavish your skills on Scott, with the help of the Agents.

This activity validates the claim for CWM’s marketing efforts that the Plymouth (AKA “Lu”) “ran when parked” commanding a higher value. Excellent, as long as you “don’t have to go fast.”
