This is a lovely country. Very French and clean and great care is kept for each other and the system of government. Great Health services too. Yes it is a mining country that has Nikel mines and the locals recently had 3 referendums regarding Independence and three times it was an overwhelming NO because they don't want to loose the great amenities that are provided. The locals said that most of them don't want to become slaves to the land. The 1080's agreement is wonderfully displayed as the museums and cultural history is preserved as they progress along with the rest of the modern world. Lots to learn on travels especially Island hoping.
