10 minutes in and I saw "wow", that's a lot of money and raise. I worked as a carpenter and when the banks got bailed out, and we saw all sorts of new bank buildings show up all over, while other businesses we used and needed were removed, I had to take cuts in pay so my boss could find work. I worked for reduced wages for 10 years, and when my wage got back up to where it had been before, sub sandwiches were no longer $ 5. I always thought America should be doing better. I thought that all my working life. Now retired.

England has a bill of rights (1689) Magna Carter (1215). Just some of what makes up our constitution, and our monarchy is a "constitutional monarchy". The US was inspired by those to create a constitution and consolidate into one document.

    • @BiblicalFlatEarth
      @BiblicalFlatEarth Год назад +2

Magna Carta, English Great Charter, charter of English liberties granted by King John on June 15, 1215, under threat of civil war and reissued, with alterations, in 1216, 1217, and 1225. By declaring the sovereign to be subject to the rule of law and documenting the liberties held by “free men,” the Magna Carta provided the foundation for individual rights in Anglo-American jurisprudence.
The American Constitution was written to LIMIT THE GOVERNMENT from intruding on individual sovereignty. Founders wanted no part of English rule and Washington actually REFUSED to become a king. Founders also despised democracy and created the greatest republic to ever exist.
I can go into the gold fringe on some American Flags- which I can believe you know the significance of that.
The idea of the constitution that no other country could create, was not to grant rights but to recognize God given rights and keep the government in check.
Sadly due to leftist control of the big, mis-educational indoctrination complexes- our rights are being eroded by not teaching the constitution in schools. You cannot complain about rights being stolen if YOU DO NOT know what YOUR RIGHTS are…
Hence the brilliance of auditors vs the amount of people that say the same thing whenever threatened by a harmless camera- “that is illegal”! WHO TELLS THEM THIS LIE?

    AFA,
I'm afraid your wrong that England followed America in the bill of rights.
The Bill of Rights 1689 is an iron gall ink manuscript on parchment. It is an original Act of the English Parliament and has been in the custody of Parliament since its creation. The Bill firmly established the principles of frequent parliaments, free elections and freedom of speach within Parliament -known today as Parliamentary Privilege.
The main principles of the Bill of Rights are still in force today - particularly being cited in Iegal cases - and was used as a model for the US Bill of Rights 1789, some 100 years after the English Bill of Rights...
But other than that great work and keep them accountable,
    Regards from across the pond....

Josh, Josh, Josh. Learn some history please. UK Magna Carta 1215. Bill of Rights in 1689, Nothing the US does or has is original. Canada has a Constitution and that includes the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Based off UK.

Magna Carta is not the constitution, I was referring specifically to the British constitution or charter of rights that came 20 years after the constitution . However, I love the history of the magna carta.

So you are ignoring the fact that the US constitution is not older than the UK? 1689 Bill of Rights? Constitutional Monarchy? Im Canadian and the King is my head of state. We learn the actual history of the UK, Commonwealth and Realms. That the US based their constitution 100 years after the UK? That is a bold and wrong statement. Other commenters have explained this to you. Dont ignore History.

@@Dee-JayW Monsieur Castreau, aka 'Trudeau' and correctly called so, as he was the result of a plan by his mother, the former Margaret Sinclair to carry Fidel Castro's offspring. I used to call him "Turkey Baster Prime Minister".
      It's a CHARTER, NOT a 'Constitution'.
Here's a quick test: Who is the highest official in the land? BZZZZT I already know you have it wrong.
