This type of behavior from public employees is unwarranted. I’m so thankful you go through the motions of getting their public records, exposing them, and see that they are no longer working in this public capacity. Many laws and policies were broken by these three employees.
It’s amazing at how they lack the ability to maintain their composure then want to blame you for just being there.

This is really a bad look. Govt employees definitely should NOT be insulting the public. "It's one of those guys." I cannot believe Andrew. It's bad enough he took out his personal phone & took pictures but to tell someone who's RECORDING that he has pornography on his phone is really stupid. NO WAY Andrew deserves his position.
Look, as a Govt employee you can't let a crabby mood prevent you from being professional. As a public servant paid with tax dollars you're going to have to suck it up sometimes. Taking a bit of flack is a small negative that's worth swallowing for the large salary, benefits, vacation, sick leave, medical, & retirement you get as a Government employee. Snowflakes that can't handle it can go work in the private sector.
Funniest part is AFA won't even give them any flack and is completely nice as long as the employees are respectful, so he wouldn't have even had to take any flack if it weren't for his own behavior.

“I pay a lot of taxes” says the woman who’s entire salary is already composed of other peoples tax dollars. So no lady, just because you gave some of OUR tax dollars away, and called it “paying taxes”, just remember it was already tax dollars before it reached your bank account.
Technically, being that she derives her income from people who pay their taxes, that makes her a welfare recipient. That makes her no better than a homeless person (and, I was homeless for years).

Bananarama literally turned a great interaction with the city manager into something that didn’t need to happen.
This happens often and detracts from the real goal. I know they are together and want to make a team effort but would suggest a different approach to avoid this.
@@chris16722 I really think true professional auditing is only really useful in making a change and getting your point across when it’s only one person. If it’s more, especially 3 or more, it get very disruptive super quick and their voices tends to raise louder and louder. And at that point the police do have a reason to arrest you for disorderly conduct. Nobody is going to learn or be open whatsoever to learning or making change if 3 people are in their office yelling at them out of nowhere.
@QuintessentialUltimatum well said and I agree. I don't want to say make it just 1 person auditing because there is also something to be said about bringing personalities out. In the end it should not matter right? 1 or 3 people. But I get to be the most objective, 1.

But when you look at human behavior and social behavior I think in these stages of auditing overall people are going to be way more perceptive to one or two calm, well spoken individuals. People who are educated on the ACTUAL rules and laws. If you know what I mean? Does that make sense at all? And I also agree that personalities def have a huge part of it. But if I was in that guys shoes, when bananarama keeps bitching about the way she keeps ignoring her and cutting her off and not giving her the “respect” she wants or whatever I would start to get a little annoyed and not want to listen to ANYTHING they had to say after that.

Wow, that was like a bomb going off.😮 So friendly and welcoming, then the man tells others not to play into it and then turns into a rude obnoxious arrogant hurtful person, making it all about him. The woman, after that, just went off😮😮 trying to inflict pain with every word she said. I know deep down she is in pain and feels superior to others but has no joy in her life ,but that is no excuse to act so unprofessional, condecending, and rude to the public. Its crazy what i observed in person by ANDREW & The admin asst behavior on this visit to Hamilton is shocking and completely unacceptable for a city employee to behave like that. For someone like me who is not from there i left there completely astonished by them. But exposing the unacceptable behavior by these 2 employees clearly shows they should be dismissed from their positions with the city. There has to be consequences for the behaviors displayed by these employees.

The records clerk was wonderful. She reminded me of how lucky I am to have been born, raised and still live in Virginia, just outside Washington DC. We tend to take for granted all of the rich history we have in the area and being right here in DC to visit all of the monuments at will. We run along the Tidal Basin, wraving around the Jefferson Memorial, Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument, sit and eat lunch among the World War 2, Korean War, Vietnam War and Martin Luther King Jr Memorials, spend every July 4th on the Mall, picnicking at thr base of the Washington Monument and then enjoying the fireworks. If you've never had the privilege to be in DC on the 4th, it's a spectacular experience. My family does it every year and forget that it's such a privilege. We can hop in the car or on the Metro anytime we feel and be in the District in minutes to explore the Smithsonian's many museums. We tend to forget how lucky we are to be right in the middle of so much history in the DMV (District, Maryland, Virginia). Too many Americans never get to even visit our beautiful Nation's Capital...and it's my hometown. The Hamilton clerk inspired me to take the kids over for the day just to enjoy and appreciate.

That’s the problem with these public officials or those volunteering their services, they all have the same rights as the public but the difference they can’t seem to understand is that they represent more than just themselves when faced with the challenges of the public redressing their grievances.
These positions are always gonna be met with compliments and criticism. The only win for them is to remain PROFESSIONALLY and CORDIALLY while interacting with the people, anything less is a failure of the community.
You need to go right to city manager and tell him DPW worker created a public record on his personal phone.
Anna, you’ve got to relax a bit. You are in the background, then come forward to say the same thing that has already been said, then get upset that he agreed by saying yes, as you spoke. He then apologizes very nicely, and you kept it going. When someone truly treats you badly, we want and support you speaking up for yourself. It’s just become what you look for and the issue has become too sensitive for you. We love ya.

Stunning! That these people would act like this is one thing. That they act like this knowing they are being recorded is another entirely. They really, as they readily admit, don't give a good god damn. Their rudeness, ignorance, contempt and disdain for the citizens, the law, the office they're in when they are being paid by the peoples' taxes is... well, it's breath taking.
