After connecting your mobile with Alexa using bluetooth you can play anything like RUclips or music player like MP3 from your mobile.

Does it have to stay plugged in to work ?
Yes Alexa needs to be plug in always otherwise Alexa will not respond. Or Bluetooth will not work.
I just tested it once phone connected to Alexa using Bluetooth I disconnected internet and took the Alexa and connected Alexa on some other room. The mobiles bluetooth still connected to Alexa. The only thing Alexa wakeup word will not work without internet.

My understanding is that you have to manually select all songs from youtube by using the phone correct? Since alexa cant use the mic assistant to play directly from youtube..
My second question is can alexa skip the commercial?
Third question is using the alexa’s own music without the... youtube is amazon unlimited music? ( with subscription fees)
Yes manually select the songs from phone on RUclips app and play with bluetooth. No it will not skip commercial it will be just as your speaker your have to skip it within your RUclips app or go for RUclips Premium subscription if you don't want to get ads. Yes that will be amazon music comes free with Amazon prime subscriptions. It will be add free music. You can just ask Alex to play any song which you want to listen to

if you have installed Amazon music app on your phone . then its kind of possible other wise you cannot. but you can you these feature in the Google Home mini.
Didn’t work kept asking to be connected to a network. Mine is useless now. Wouldn’t pair on Bluetooth mode.
You need to reset Alexa. Looks like Alexa not connected to internet or your router. You need to hold the action button to see the orange light. Then go to Alexa app and set up your Alexa.
Then try the Bluetooth steps it should work

Yes for the Alexa no for your phone. Alexa needs the internet to ‘work’ however your phone doesn’t need to be as it’s only going to be tethering the music via Bluetooth

You need to reset the Alexa echo and connect using Alex app again then try again

What is weird: Connecting a bluetooth speaker to Alexa is easy and would be awesome but the sound quality sucks. No bass.
If you have latest version like echo 3 or echo 4 it would sound good
@@TrendingTechie I have. But there is just not much bass on the bluetooth speaker (Jbl Charge 5). When I connect the speaker with my phone and play music it is much better. In both cases I play music from Spotify.

No you need internet to be connected so Alexa can listen the wakeup word otherwise it would say you are not connect to internet

My alexa worked 2 days ago and now when I’m connected bluetooth and it should be alexa speaker from iphone it doesn’t say anythings, only way for me to hear music is “Alexa play spotify” the thing u do with youtube my alexa just goes quiet
Okay sure I can help here. Open bluetooth settings in your phone unpair the old connection of Alexa echo devices and now say to Alexa connect bluetooth. Then you can see the your alexa device on the bluetooth settings click on pair that's all. Follow this enjoy the music

No it will no work bro. I tested this you can just use for listening mobile audio not for calls.
