I love these videos, short and informative. I've used four of them, so useful! The road to the upper plateau is paved now, and on this Sunday afternoon in early July, there was a traffic jam to get into the car park!
I’d have to say probably the best photographer I’ve ever seen. Great work.
Love the last picture of the Arch especially
Mads, your eye for composition is fantastic and the final images really show why Iceland is a must destination of choice for landscape photography
Thank you so much Scotty! Always appreciate your comments :)
Wow so beautiful
I really like your videos. And of course your fantastic photographs also. Good job!
Wow! Wow! Wow!
Andrea Pieczyk :)
Hi Mads! Thank you Mads, for publishing this your wonderful Vlog from the area of Dyrhólaey! I enjoyed your Vlog so much! When I visited this location in July 1992 there were no buildings (the white one) at the summit of the Dyrhólaey! Also the long seashore with the black lava sand when you looking west, is beautiful with its silver line of the waves, that finally find their rest at the black colored beach! Thank you so very again Mads! Meget godt! /Best Regards, Charl
Thank you for the kind words Charl :)
This series is great, Mads! Thanks so much for putting this together. We're visiting Iceland next week specifically for landscape photography, and along with various apps and books your videos are a great resource to help us plan some of our shots! Your series might be one of the most comprehensive on Iceland landscape locations on the Internet! Impressive work!
Thank you very much Jon! Such a nice comment - means a lot! Happy it helps :)
Wonderfully detailed, loved this
Such a great video, makes it so easy to plan a trip there. Thank you!
wow wow wow you are the best. I'm following in Instagram. I love your videos and photographs. Thank you Mads
Wonderfully done series, binging them all right now. Thank you for making these with such detail.
You're very welcome, Keith! Happy to hear that :)
Nice video!
It is not advised to drive up the road to the upper plateau. In stead there is an excellent path leading up there from the lower platform. also, there have been some deaths at the Kirkjufjara beach and some landslides so that is now closed.
Helt super Mads!
Henrik Moum tusind tak Henrik :)
Great work Mads ! Your videos are great, especially the information about the places and the stunning presentation. Love your background music as well, can I get it somewehere ? Cheers
Que lindo!
very nice
Thanks :)
Awesome , You are Best :)
Excellent series, we will be making our first visit this summer durning the midnight sun. Do you attempt to take all of your landscape photos at 100 ISO if possible??
Larry Leopold Yes :)
Could You explain please where the small arch is exactly located?
Hi Mads. I've seen your's video several times. I love them. I 'd like to know That's sunrise or sunset? Thank you.
First let me start by saying this series of videos is the best thing about Iceland I've ever seen on the Internet! Thank you sooooo much! Let me ask you: Does one need a 4x4 to see Dhyrholaey from all angles? Also, how can you reach the Ligthouse from the first parking lot? Thank you!
Thank you Pavlos :) From 2:10 in the video I describe how to get to the upper plateau. And no you can get up there in a regular small car without any problems. Just watch for holes in the road :)
Beautiful! have you flown the drone through the arch before?
Hi thanks :) Nope I didn't dare. It was a bit too windy ;)
👍
Hi Mads, I've been slowly but surely watching all the videos on your channel. Great format, incredibly informative and your results are very inspiring...I've subscribed! Might cross your path one day in the field, and if you get a minute I'd appreciate if you took a look at my channel. Cheers Jon
Hi Jon! I'm happy you like what you see, always nice to hear that from a fellow youtuber! :)
Started watching your videos ;)
