You're the man Mads Peter. I discovered you on RUclips during my first trip to Iceland. Thanks to your scouting tips, I was able to experience and capture some magical moments. Now I'm experiencing my second visit here in Iceland and I immediately think of your channel for pre-production planning. Thanks for sharing your tips, perspectives and photography with the curious, creative aspiring world on RUclips. I really enjoy your style for this Icelandic series. All in all, I would love to know how much time you gave yourself in Iceland and at each of your shared locations. My second trip has been very much a letdown because of the weather. I'm here visiting the southern part of Iceland for 8 days and all but one have 70%+ chance of rain, making lighting conditions less than desirable and drone flying impossible. I'll most likely have to wait an entire year before coming back and trying again. This trip has given me an even bigger appreciation for your videos and especially a recognition to your skill level. While most of your lighting conditions may have been more ideal than mine, you were in the right place for all of them. Looking forward to your future shared experiences. p.s. for trips like these, do you travel alone or with friends? Also, three years later, you're now at 40,000+ subscribers. 👌👌👌
Love this video. Can't wait to visit Fjadrargljufur later this year! Also appreciate you pronouncing the canyon's name! I think I have it down now after repeatedly watching this. lol.
Thank you for this great series. It is helping me because I will go in Iceland in June this year. I discovered new places watching your episodes. Thanks!
Definitely going here! Found it on Instagram recently, but your discussion of the location is really helpful. Those aerial shots you captured are spectacular! Sadly, I don't have a drone, but maybe next time. ;)
Very nice channel man! Beautiful photography, videography, and inspiring contents. I traveled in Iceland two year ago in summer 2015 and to see these places again, is breathtaking. Rock on! \m/
Once again, amazing video. But i have to complain about one thing regading all the videos: they are too short and always leave me wanting more!.. haha. Just kidding. Amazing job and congrats man!!
Mads, I'm planning a trip to the Faroes soon and your videos are amazing. Do you have recommendations on drones and drone equipment? Thanks for putting these up. So inspiring.
I really, really hate to pick fault. I really do. I've watched all the America and most of the Iceland set. And I'm sorry to say this but they're too short. They're absolutely brilliant, but there's not enough. I'd love to see more.
Im going to this location in may. I want to do some panoramic shots with my drone. But Im wondering if i should visit during mid day, or wait for the sunset? The light would probably be better during sunset, but would it be hard to include the sun in the shot? If Im doing a similar drone shot like you did in this video. Will the sun be straight to one of the sides of the canyon?
Did you have issues with permits to fly drones at that time? I can see recently they ban drones in a lot of places so wondering how difficult it is to get a permit.

Love the aerial photography! Pano stitching with a flying machine is definitely a fantastic tactic. No two images will ever be the same again. . .
Thanks a lot! Yeah I think it's a great way to differentiate your work :)

Thanks Andrea! Yeah I love to rewatch it myself too! Brings back good memories :)
Your Iceland 🇮🇸 series is amazing. Thank you 🙏🏽.
Can I ask what are your settings on your DJI Mavic?
Dude, he did this video 3 years ago. He's not going to remember his drone settings! 🤣
What are the rules about using a drone in most of these places?
Man, I enjoyed these the first time round but now they are proving invaluable. Oh and hey, 200 subscribers huh, you influencer you ;-) haha
Once again, amazing video. But i have to complain about one thing regading all the videos: they are too short and always leave me wanting more!.. haha. Just kidding. Amazing job and congrats man!!

Thanks a lot vivek! Well I use the DJI Mavic Platinum by now. I like it a lot :)

Hehe, well maybe the good part is I don't fill them with all sorts of "filler" shots ;)

jibzouth you can use the app photographers ephemeris to find out :)
Mads-how many shots in the panoramas? Just started drone photography and interested in this technique.
Hi, it differs, but I usually overlap by 50% :)
Thanks
Did you have issues with permits to fly drones at that time? I can see recently they ban drones in a lot of places so wondering how difficult it is to get a permit.
Back then it wasn't an issue, not sure how hard it is now. From what I know it's possible if you just follow the official channels :)
@@MadsPeterIversen Thank you. And amazing tips and photos by the way. Help me a lot with planning the trip :).
I read somewhere that this place Fjadrarglijufur is closed? due to over tourism. Is that true?
It was back in the beginning of March. Not sure for how long.
I had to do a double take with the raven @3:02 I though it was a person as it initially came into view 😁
Do you need to get on a F-road to get here?
Nope
You think you have difficulty pronouncing ? You should hear me haha ! Nailed it ! 👍👌
