The journal is lovely and I appreciate the tutorial, but what really caught my eye was how graceful your hands are. They remind me so much of my late mother.
WOW!! 😍 Such beautiful goodies to make such beautiful things! That cover is absolutely GORGEOUS!! SO much gorgeousness in this video...I LOVE IT. 😁 TFS
Hello I just found your videos and am now one of your new subscribers I love the way you work and enjoyed watching and listening to you THANKYOU I look forward to seeing more in the future and meeting your cat Bless You Both
This truly is a piece with love blended in every stitch. Absolutely beautiful 🤗🤗🤗. I really enjoyed your video process. Love, love, loved the addition of the strip for the inside pockets. A gorgeous table cloth that you repurposed……love it. 🥰
Thank you. I have been wondering how to do this. I watched both of your videos while I did some cooking in the kitchen today. Anxious to try it myself.
Wow! I just love watching your tutorial on making a fabric cover! I’ve got tons of fabric thrifted, and had been looking for someone who has been making soft fabric covers. Lucky me, to have found you & your process! I really appreciate you sharing what you’ve learned xoxo Watching you from Canada. Gillian
Pam, I so love your fabric collages. They are a work of art. Fabric adds so much to a journal. Thank you so much for introducing us to your process. It was truly inspiring and very helpful.
Just gorgeous! Really beautiful. I’m doing a shabby journal right now and this proves to me I do not have enough embellishments on mine yet!! Not even close! Thanks!!
Thank you for the tutorial Pam...it was very helpful...and I was quite curious as how you create your fabulous covers! You definitely put a lot of thought and hard work into them!! 😊😊👍😀❤️❤️
Great video! I was looking to see if you have a tutorial on making fabric signature pages? Did I miss it? I’d really like to see how you do it. Thank you!
Thank you! I did not do a tutorial on the fabric signature pages. My original inspiration was from ARTYMaze, here is her video: ruclips.net/video/NjTeZDyJD4U/видео.htmlsi=aY9IV7gBKHAu3z7m
So gorgeous! I love your layers. But I have found in past projects when I used E6000 glue on fabrics although it’s fabulous at holding, after a few years it yellows and discolors the fabric and becomes quite unsightly. A very disappointing outcome in the long run.
This journal has turned out so beautiful. I’m not a fan of the fabric patchwork, but I love how this turned out. I do love ribbon and lace and I feel you have taken this journal to an amazing level. I’m so glad you showed up in my feed and cannot wait to view more of your creations. 💜
Hi Denise! - here is the link - it is under the playlist "flip throughs" and is titled Shabby Chic Pink and Blue: ruclips.net/video/UmGL8xMPnUg/видео.html
Pam I just started following you because I just got interested into doing junk journaling. I’m watching so many videos for beginners, using a book, using fabric. I have a question and I hope you get this message and I hope you can answer it for me. I see you’re using fabric glue would mod podge work as well? Thank you for sharing your knowledge and expertise with us. You did such a wonderful job and so Congratulations too you!! 😊💕🥳
Thank you so much Marlene! My experience with mod podge and fabric is it does work except it can make the fabric stiff and it can bleed thru leaving a sheen on the fabric. Fabri Tac is my go to for fabric😁😁
I am still relatively new to junk journaling. What is the purpose of a fabric journal? Is it just a collection of fabrics or are there places for journaling I'm not completely understanding and all fabric journal. Thank you for educating me.
There are many ways to interpret and use a junk journal. Some people use theirs to keep there own memories/pictures/keepsakes in. Others use theirs to journal in. And still others, just like to have them to admire and look at. So far as an all fabric junk journal, the same applies depending on if there are booklets/tags/papers included in the journal to write on. (that just depends on how the journal was created) . These are held in the journal by pockets, tuck spots, tied with ribbon, clipped on... I think the allure of an all fabric journal is using different fabrics and laces in lieu of a more traditional hard cover journal and regular paper pages. I love the beauty of fabrics and laces, so I try to incorporate them in all of my journals. I have many flip throughs of fabric journals on my channel that show the addition of booklets/tags/papers included in them for journaling. The term "junk" is widely interpreted. I feel that creating a "junk" journal incorporates reusing and recycling items that could otherwise be donated or thrown out ie: paper bags, junk mail, clothing, cardboard boxes old books, vintage paper, antique linens, wallpaper - you name it! The possibilities are endless - please let me know if I answered your question and if you have any further questions - I'd be happy to try and answer them! 💗
I think I understand, but could you clarify? Are you speaking of when I attach the fabric pages to the cover? Let me know and I'd be happy to answer your question.. Thanks!
@@evelynbrady3347Thanks for getting back to me - yes I sew all over the front collage cover and then add fabric to the back. That way you don't see any of the stitching.
Hi Jane - thanks for asking. Either contact me through my Etsy shop and we can discuss the details, and/or favorite my Etsy shop so that you get a notification when I add a journal to my shop.

The wide white beautiful lace should be on the spine of your journal. It will draw more attention to it.
