Hello and welcome to my channel! I created this channel to share my love of junk journals with you and everything that goes into them. I am so passionate about re purposing items as a way to create a new life for things that otherwise would be discarded. I have always loved to thrift shop. I recently retired after 30 + years in the corporate world. Even when I was working, I enjoyed wearing my latest thrift shop outfit, people often wondered how I could afford such extravagance. Thrifting of course! I am now able to concentrate my passion for finding great deals and crafting by incorporating what I find into beautiful junk journals. I look forward to connecting with you on this fulfilling journey. Glitter on friends!

The Parisian journal is very elegant. I am always amazed by the way you can take all the lovely bits and pieces and make everything blend together. I recently completed a 40th wedding anniversary journal for my Sister-in-Law and Brother-in-Law incorporating their wedding colors, light blue and creams, with sections in the journal for them to include their own memories of that special day and some fun writing trivia games to play. Thank you for continuing to inspire us.

I came to this video series thinking you were getting inspiration from someone elses journal - but am so happy it wasn't that! I love that you are getting inspiration from an apron, a pillow and other things around you. You have inspired me to look at the materials around me differently, and even shop for supplies differently!

I am watching your videos luv your style,do you combine different weights of paper? It looked like it
Glad you love my style- Thank you! Yes, I do combine different weights. I use the heavier cardstock weight for the exterior of my signatures and also the middle pages for stability. Otherwise regular copy weight for the pages. I try to mix the pages up... the heavier pages work better for additional added pockets and tags, in my opinion. In my most recent upload I talk about creating the signature 🥰

I love watching your technique for putting signatures together. How do you get the pages to print the full page? I print fit page and it leaves a border.
Thank you! I have an Epson printer that does not have the option to print borderless (unfortunately) I cut the white border off.

@@user-rh3qn8pc1y I know, there are certain printers that have the capability to print borderless, but I was unaware of that when I purchased mine - oh well, I will make sure my next printer prints borderless! Making your own washi tape is the best!
