Back at the orphanage, Loona clutched her cellphone like it was her lifeline. I imagine it was a gift to her, probably her first one, which is why she values it.
Part of that could be because it's her only escape from the shitty situation she was in, that's a theory I have cause its a real thing a lot of people that are in her age range would do. I know that there's a good portion of people here in this community including myself that have buried themselves into their phones to scroll through the internet, watch RUclips, message friends and try to get away from their current situation for a second because mom and dad are arguing, you are getting bullied, getting abused etc. That phone is Loony escape from her situation so that's why I partially believe she is acting that protective of her phone.
Yeah, you see it in the way she brushes off Beelze's compliments and actually briefly offends her. She's so used to abuse it's hard to recognize genuine playfulness when it happens, and she might not even believe it exists, so she's constantly on guard
I only just noticed this, but even in the orphanage Loona had a smartphone. Seems highly unlikely the orphanage gave that to her (considering the conditions), so it was probably an item she received from her previous owner that she was allowed to hold on to. She even seemed very protective of it, as it would likely be the only thing she really owned.
She could have been protected of it it since it may have had photos of the "happy" times with her previous owners. So she was protective of it because in her mind it contained the last happy memories she thought she was gonna experience.
A minor counterpoint here, you keep saying her parents abandoned her, but we've been shown how violent hell is on a routine basis. It's just as likely her parents were killed in a normal act of extreme and dismissed violence by another denizen. I'd even go so far as to say that the orphanage overcrowding has more to do with the high death rate of native demons than it does birthrate and partying.
True. I mean, if Loona was abandoned, she wouldnt have had a phone on her when she was at the pound cuz her owners wouldve likely taken it back before leaving her at the pound, even if it was a cheap phone. She likely kept it due to it being the last thing she has from her last family.
To my knowledge, Loona is a husky, which have a history of being mistreated specifically being the puppy you get your kids for Christmas and then subsequently abandon.
Huskies can be really loving pets around humans if they are trained not to bite humans during their puppy years. If they don't get that training they can become very aggressive to humans and other dogs.
@@Creatorsan i ironically have a husky named luna. Shes a great dog and I love her with my whole heart. all dogs need to be trained not to bite, and should be. Unfortunately people don't and when the dogs aren't properly trained, its a bad situation for everyone. Sadly people are more likely to rehome large dogs with behavioral issues vs small dogs because people don't see small dogs as big of a threat. Its a sad situation all in all :(
@@Creatorsan i think the joke OP meant is less about huskies biting and more about them being absolutely miserable in most climates and therefore being abandoned when the shitty owner doesn't want to invest in stuff to make them feel ok like air conditioning and whatever else they need.
They aren't just a coping mechanism, you can see in the adoption agency that the others there are dangerous, and just the people in hell in general being dangerous. When the other hell hound approaches her, she gets aggressive and violent before the panic and depression set in. Her aggressive tendencies are a way of survival. When you grow up in an abusive environment, you're in a constant state of survival mode, meaning you're on edge, you're defensive, you get aggressive when you're cornered as a way of protecting yourself, etc. Pushing people away before they get too close to hurt you becomes second nature, and it's a hard habit to break even once you're in a safe environment because you're still reacting to little things as if your life were in danger, because you spent so long with that being your reality. She is obviously still healing and learning that she doesn't need to be in survival mode all of the time, but with Blitz trying to get closer to her all of the time, she gets aggressive and pushes him away to protect herself still, which is something we get to see her get better at overcoming as the series goes on If you read this really long explanation, I hope you have a wonderful day
@@MASTEROFEVIL yeah, I wish I could save all those precious babies, but I can't sadly, I hate that you basically give them false hope just to stick them in their definition of hell.... it's sad tbh
Personally I think Blitz actually did intend to adopt a hellhound as a child, which makes sense as we know he longs to be loved and to have a family He was first shown looking at pups, commenting that they looked so cute (but also sad), when brought to another hellhound he reacts with great enthusiasm (until he sees what they look like..), explains to the worker that he’s looking for something “more family friendly”, and upon seeing the state poor Loona was in we can imagine he felt he just had to give her the loving home she needed
I personally interpreted Loona wanting to go back to the party with Blitz not as a manipulation per-se, at least not a self-aware one. And not just because she saw someone fancy. Because she saw fancy people all around there, yet still decided to leave before. I interpreted her wanting to go back suddenly as a subconscious confidence boost, because she then was around someone she knew and trusted, namely her father. Which is why I saw it more as a genuine change of mind instead. You can see throughout the episode that she unintentionally lashes out at people out of the fear of being rejected, even when said people mean it genuine. This behavior completely vanishes when Blitz stays at the party, because with him around, she feels more safe, even confident and proud, as could be seen when he wins the drinking contest. She doesn't feel "alone" anymore, because at least one guy will stand up for her, and she knows that. And that makes her feel better. And suddenly, when someone says to her that she should maybe check on Blitz because he's not acting okay, her aggressive attitide is back again, because it feels like a threat to her. Other people saying that the one person who you trust in the most is currently out of commission brings back all the insecurity, because suddenly you're all alone again.
That’s what I’ve always thought about that. As someone with social anxiety it’s always easier to be in a situation, especially a new one, with someone you know and that already is familiar with the situation. Plus now instead of being Lunitic Loona she was seen as Blitzø’s daughter which is probably a better position to be in in that context
Yeah, I think she wanted Blitzo there because he was someone she knew. it's like when I go to parties, my mom or brother would go with me simply so I'm with someone I know cause they know I HATE parties and get ultra anxious in them (even though it's always a good time). Loona doesn't seem like the type to manipulate anyone for devious purposes. It's also possible she may have sensed Blitzo's depression and wanted him to party to "have fun and take his mind off of things". She got VERY defensive when it sounded like Bee was insulting him given she defended his actions as "That's just how he is, you don't know him". She may not have known what happened when he left to spy on Millie and Moxxie, but she was at least happy to have someone she could lean on.
Loona's clothing in the flashback from the orphanage also fits into this theory. Pay attention, it is clearly newer than the rags that the rest of the orphans are wearing. The sweater is bright, not faded, the holes on the jeans look designer, and not the result of long wear. She also has a smartphone, and her cellmate is clearly jealous of this. Most likely, she was indeed adopted, but then the girl was again abandoned and returned to the orphanage. I think this has happened more than twice, which is why Loona is so traumatized.
I agree, Given what we know about Loona's past so far and how messed up it seemed to be It could be that she's probably been adopted more than once but was most likely abandoned time and time again, And it could be because of this Loona has difficulty interacting with others and always shows a bad attitude because she was so traumatized that she developed the inability to trust or rely on anyone with the hope of not being abandoned again.
Hearing this seem to make me remember a moment with my older step cousin that was adopted during her teenager years. She felt sadden and lost when being at a orphanage for a long time that she felt abandoned by her real parents. Till my step parents taken her in and give her a loving life. Till she feel like she can be part of the family till we open her heart to come home in a sweet caring family than her original family. So it feel glad to see thar Loona have a family with Blitz and the others as remember that she smiled when Blitz mention that Loona is part of the family in the Pilot episode. It was so cute and small detail missed. 😌
My head canon right now is she was abandoned 3 times. Once by her yet to be named biological family, second by her yet to be named first family and lastly by all her friends before blitzø. I can be completely wrong but it would be cool to see a backstory episode
@@Nexwr37 that much is unlikely, that was probably her just keeping track of time until she gets out of there. after all if she kept getting sent back, why would she be sent to the same cell each time?
That theory... is actually a very impressive deep dive into the character development of Loona and Blitz. Something that very well had been here the whole time, but finally recognized. Well done, Imp Cut. Well done.
Only one thing i have with the video. Blitz is NOT narcissistic, he is in a world of his own insecurities, he lacks common sense and he is immature, but he is NOT a narcissist
I'm still eagerly awaiting the next episode. If it's going to include Blitzo's sister, then we'll definitely get more to see of Blitzo's backstory and maybe learn more about this unnamed mother
Loona does seem like someone who was betrayed. Her agressive nature could probably either lead to something like a ruined reputation or even a trauma of sorts. Imagine if she actually hurt someone to the point that they actually died or where quite badly injured. That's why she actually holds back. Because she knows what she can do with her anger Idk, im probably over analysing lol
You also have to remember, that orphanage doesn't exactly look safe. I mean, she was put in a cell with a dog with a bloody baseball bat who was was going to literally beat her with it to force her into submission. I assume he wanted to rape her given her reaction afterwards but I could be wrong and she was just upset at her horrible situation/loss. Someone else pointed out the possibility her previous owner died and that's why she had a cellphone and nicer clothes than the others so she could have been grieving.
Seeing as she had a child’s drawing with what’s looks like man wearing a hat and a small figure with wolf ears (presumably herself) in the cell she’s kept at, there might be some truth to this theory.
One theory I had about Beelzebub was that she was not only a hybrid but the second in her line, like her mother was the original Bee demon and her dad was a hell hound, which is why she’s so much more lenient with Loona
I personally think its less Loona was abandoned and more she lost her owner. From the pound flashback, Loona's clothes are a lot nicer than the other orphans' clothes, even the rips on her pants were more aesthetically ripped than worn out tears. She even has a phone and some fancy looking books under her bench, which the pound would never give her. If she was abandoned, I doubt her owner would let her keep those nice things, especially the phone and books. They wouldve forced her to return them, even if it was a cheap phone. So, I think the phone and books were tragic keepsakes from an owner and life she lost. Im also guessing she's aggressive to Blitz is that, not only does he baby her, an adult hellhound, but his job involves him fighting and killing people. Theres always a chance that Blitz will never come back, at least, not alive and Loona knows that, so she doesnt wanna bother getting close to someone, only to lose them again in the end
My guess to the reason why Loona acts incredibly hostile towards Blitz could be because her Biological or possibly just another imp, abused her in some way, which caused her to feel hyper vigilant towards father figures. You could actually interpret Loona’s aggressive behavior as a symptom of PTSD, although that isn’t 100% confirmed because we don’t know if she experiences flashbacks or depressive tendencies, which honestly is why I want a Loona centered episode, I think her character needs more clarification.
1. Loona's pov is that life is cruel, enclosing, and true happiness is reserved for only a select few. I'm willing to wager some of her hate for Mox& Mil is due to this prejudice. This would explain her tears when she met Vortex's girlfriend, Bee. Like Castlvania's Saint Germain, she is exhausted from being alone for too long. 2. The dynamic between Blitzo and Loona makes me think of Arcane's Singed and Viktor's situation. Singed to Viktor's direct quote, "We can be loners together."
oof, like she is jealous of what they have? but then why is her anger only towards Mox? she seems to get along with Millie, minus the fight in the pilot.
The parallels between the end of S1 E7 and S2 E4 are so interesting. Blitzo is somebody who desires love from many people, to the point that he doesn't know how to accept it from only one person, and Stolas has the love of so many people- as evident by all the flowers he recieved in the Hospital- but he only desires the love of just one. What they both want really IS the same thing, but each of them understand it completely differently.
I have a theory that bee might not have that much involvement and the only thing she takes part in is probably authorizing the adoptions, plus since she is one of the seven princes, which means she has business to attend to
Loona is arguably the most interesting and important character in this show. She reminds me a lot of Kenny’s role in South Park. Both characters don’t get the most screen time. But when the limelight goes their way, we get some of the best episodes in each respective show and tons of plot potential.
i think they definitely need each other, and the end of that episode helped Loona to see that, for she can totally relate to Blitz's feelings and fears. in fact, that night may have been what ultimately changed her opinion of him, seeing that while he puts on a tough act himself, he is hurting too, but still goes out of his way for her, like when she texted him to pick her up. damn, if Loona was abandoned twice as the theory implies, i'm gonna cry. AGAIN.
This is the reason I could understand what loona feels. I was in the foster care system with no one to adopt me. I lived the majority of my childhood in group homes. My original family was doing illegal things, so DCF came in and out me with my adoptive family, which then sent me back to foster care after some years. Almost had a real family when I was mid-teens, but my foster father had serious injuries from when he was in the military. Never had another family since, and I grew up an orphan, aged out alone. It hurts a lot, but I'm thankful to at least still be alive. My past is also why I'm socially awkward, often closed off, and have difficulty fitting in. But I'm trying my best to fix that and open up more.
@@AureusRUclips I still do have moments where I look to my back in my past and wish I had things better, but I'm doing alright so far. I'm working on moving past that. Gotta keep my eyes on my future goals, not my past failures and curses. The latest episode showed me that I need to open up, lighten up, and try new things, and appreciate that I'm still being given opportunities to do so.
As someone who grew up in a foster home (I was adopted at a very young age) and seeing sooooo many children and teens come in and out, I see a lot of that in Loona. Children who think the one who is caring for them is only doing so for a paycheck and this creates a lot of animosity towards the parent and family as well as a ton of insecurity and lack of self-worth. And like in the show, if a child stays in foster care until they're 18 then they just basically get left to fend for themselves. I have a brother who arrived when he was 12. Mom took guardianship but didn't officially adopt him since that would have required a new name and birth certificate and by that age, he didn't want to change his name. But it wasn't until he was something like 16 when he finally starting calling her "mom" and not by her first name. When he finally realized she did love him as her son is when he changed. So it's HUGE for Loona to call Blitz "dad" when they're alone at the end. I'm sure she'll deny it later, though. lol
Noooooo… this makes me sad. Poor Loonie, it seems she had a very tragic past and that would be a good reason why she’s aggressive towards others. Deep down I’m sure she just wants to be happy, and feel loved. I really hope we get an episode focused on Loonie’s past, that way we can better understand her. I just want to see her happy, she deserves it ❤️
I always assumed that Loona was abandoned by several family’s for her attitude and lashing out, and her hyper aggression towards Blitzo was her first response after so many abandonments to just try and get him to leave and get it over with, since that’s what every other family did. She’s desperately trying not to get attached. Side note: that might be part of the reason behind the tally marks on the wall. Probably not how many times she’s been adopted, but maybe how many people have come to the pound to adopt and didn’t take her, or just how many days since her last family left, since it looks like it would be at least a year if she’s counting days.
I just noticed Loona wears her signature collar in Blitz's flashback in S2 E2. Besides her cellphone being a possible gift from her previous owners (who I personally believe may have died rather than simply abandoned her), could that be a symbol of her old life as a sentient pet?
Loona was seventeen when she was adopted, and is about twenty five when we see her currently. I feel like if Loona was adopted previously, the Hellhound working at the adoption centre would have mentioned. There was plenty of time between 17-25 for Loona to go to a party once and meet Vicky.
she did call him dad when he passed out on the couch, which mean that one was genuine. she now see him as a fatherly figure, or at the very least, respect him enough to call him "dad" as it what he hope for.
As someone who has experienced abandonment multiple times in their life, both Blitzo and Loona as characters hit very close to home and i relate them on such a deep personal level, especially Blitzo
I mentioned in another Loona theory video that Loona was most likely adopted at least twice, probably when her ‘owners’ moved on from the puppy love phase.
Because the hellhounds originate from the gluttony ring, and are usually adopted to be servants, they’re all like “worker bees” considering that both the gluttony ring and Beelzebub all have a beehive/honeycomb theme to it
This episode was honestly a favorite of mine that really hit in many ways, very relatable and also created a massive doorway for Blitzo and Loona to become even more complex characters than they already were. I love the storytelling here
I think Loona having at least one previous owner makes a lot of sense and that dig from that poodle hellhound is super cold. I have to agree with Loona on what she called her.😡 I’m also wondering about the fact that Loona would have been under 18 when that photo of her drinking happened, so she seems to have built up more of a tolerance.😥
@@UltimateGamerCC I wouldn’t be surprised if she didn’t want a repeat of what happened at that other party as well as was off putted by what was happening to the other Hellhounds getting wasted.😥 She even went “WTF” after seeing all of them swimming in the giant glass.😕
@@lawnmowerdude considering how quick-tempered and introverted Loona is and how she's always defensive on when people call her out on her temper, thats likely the case. They probably wanted a happy and energetic pup like a beagle or a golden retriever but Loona didnt behave how they wanted
The picture of her barfing was taken sometime after she was adopted because she didn't have her earrings ripped out of her right ear when Blitzo saw her at the pound. She probably went to a party, birthday or club earlier after being adopted and then for some reason stopped putting herself out there socially until Tex.
We need a deeper dive for loona. There’s so much that can be brought up that could explain why she’s the way she is. Why shes got an attitude problem, hopefully we see more happen with loona and blitz.
i dont think these two came from the same house BUT i do believe that she was abandoned twice cause the way she yelled at blitz saying "youre not my REAL dad" seems like shes still caught up on her real dad and is very hesitant to call blitz her father- she also has a phone and ofc the adoption center didnt give that to her.
I haven't seen anyone mention how Loona calls Blitzo "Dad" for the first time in this new episode when directly talking to him, with the exception of him during Bee's drinking challenge (14:03). I only noticed after rewatching it, but my heart absolutely SHATTERED at the fact that when he wakes up the next day, he won't even remember it.
I feel so bad for Loona. This made me cry a bit because I am also adopted too. I have many people in my life just leave and give up on me. I never thought I would find a family who loves me. I so feel for Loona and completely understand where she comes from. I also got adopted a little older like around a teenager. Being a teenager already is hard and on top of not having a loving official family. That’s why I really love Loona because she’s also adopted just like me and I’m also a furry lol
For me the speach in the Stars episode didn't feel out of place. On a personal level, I relate to her. My parents weren't the greatest either, but my dad allways tried to be good. So I get it, that she might on one hand doesn't want to admit that she is Blitzos daughter but on the other hand protects him and says that you should see your good willing dad as preciouse.
Good idea for a future episode is loona going to look for her real parents and telling how good she has it without them and then telling blitz he is a real dad instead of her parents
Vickie's remark about keeping what brings you joy just made me think of Marie Kondo (does it spark joy?) and I didn't put any deeper meaning to it. But I can totally see Loona being rejected by several owners because of her aggression and being a "problem child" keeping circling back to the adoption center.
Here’s another theory: Loona’s parents didn’t abandon her. They just had puppies and their owners didn’t want the puppies, so they dumped them off at the pound. Not much a hellhound could do if they’re below the lowest life forms of hell.
I can imagine Vicki is some rich demon's high class showdog. It's not clear whether or not Hell has an equivalent to a Dog show but if it did, I can imagine Vicki is a regular contestant and champion.
Yeah. Something similar to modelling but with hellhounds. Headcanon: many priveleged hellhounds like Vicky have wealthier owners and have a relationship with them similar to sugar daddy with hints of slavery, pet play, and work.
Back then when I started the series I thought it would all be just fun and giggles but by now it is for me a very well written story and actually one that makes me cry
episode hit harder than expected. Lots of feeling packed into a small timeframe. Loona calling blitz dad and saying she would be there for him gives me the sniffles. Blitzo being afraid of being alone for the rest of his life is like a stab in the heart.
I don’t think Vicki’s line implies any of that. Loona has been with Blitz for almost 5 years, it’s very likely she tried going to some parties early on and it didn’t go well. I don’t see how her line implies she was previously adopted
I might be looking into this a little too deeply, but Loona seems to be a Husky-type hellhound and we have seen that people adopt their hounds based on what they want them to do. In our world, Huskys went through a fad as a designer dog breed because they are very pretty. But they are also independant, high maintenence and require a lot of exercise to stop them being destructive. So Loona could have been rehomed a lot because what she WAS wasn't what those families WANTED her to be. Now Loona's coping mechanisms (just like a lot of badly raised dogs) are aggression and destruction, shes also poorly socialised with other hounds (no friends) and despite being an adult, seems to be stuck at around 16 mentally since she never got to grow up properly.
Im not really sure how that one line suggests she was adopted before... cinematically there wasnt any indication that it had some hidden meaning behind it. Loona seems extremely maladjusted in terms of social skills, which I think more so suggests perhaps some kind of trauma to herself in ways of severe isolation or and abuse in the past. Or maybe shes just a hellhound being a hellhound and drew the short end of the stick in life before Blitz
It be is possible that she was adopted twice and what you said was very clear but I do still wonder about what her parents could have been and how loonas life was with them in perspective. And yes I do believe that blitzo and loona have a connection that is more complex than people think, that’s what makes the show special. Relationships.
speaking from experience, i didn't get to enjoy my childhood because i been abandoned by my own dad and some people i thought were my friends, and i was even picked on by other teens and adults when i was a teenager, i was even kicked out of high school for standing up for myself so people thought i wasn't gonna amount to something cause i didn't graduated. now today, it's hard for me to trust others and i can be socially awkward even though i'm chill but i can also have a mean attitude and say snarky stuff to anyone who ridicules or insults me. so i can understand why Loona is how she is
What if Loona wasn't adopted previously, but rather abandoned by her birth-parents for some reason? If hellhounds are seen as the "lowest of the low" and treated generally as pets, Vickie's comment about keeping things that bring you joy would hit harder if Loona had been given up by her parents. Also... if Vickie is an "upper class" hellhound and circulates with same, it suggests that she may have known Loona in that same level. But I think there's more to it than that. "Bee's" hellhoundish look may suggest that the breed might not always be the lowest of the low.
Ooh just noticed with the picture of Loona getting sick she had her damaged ear. In the picture of loona on her adoption day with blitz her ear was peirced but intact. So she's only been able to go to parties since getting adopted by Blitz.
I wish we get an episode where Blitz and Loona go play a sport or game like Lazer tag or go carting or maybe even golf or soccer after a rough day and the two just get some mellow time to chat and relax before they head back to I.M.P
So if Blitzo wanted to originally adopt a Hellhound just as a employee for I.M.P., that kind of suggests that Hellhounds are sorted treated as a form of slave labor, with it being cheaper to "adopt" an Hellhound to work for then hiring another employee. Couse since Blitzo ended up adopting Loona as his daughter, she's probably getting a fair wage, maybe even a bit more than Moxxie and Millie.
*Thanks for the new video, on Loona the hellhound heroine Deepcut from **#CartoonUniverse**! Hopefully we find even more about Loona 's mysterious past in future seasons and episodes of Helluva Boss!* ^-^
i always find amazing how a carrying father blitz is... like he has many defects, but god he love that girl more than anything and would defntly die for her...
Probably not but who knows she might have a abusive father and then a suicidal mother who managed to save Luna before she killed because she was not going to leave her in the hands of her abusive father.
Honestly i feel for Luna cause i had something similar happen to me my dad had left me and my mom either after i was born or shortly before. i guess i just wasn't wanted, kinda similar to her i guess, maybe this is why shes my favorite character other than Blitz and Vortex.
So if she's been abandoned more then once, her aggressiveness could be attributed to the fact whoever had her, didn't feel she was good enough to keep, as was probably all the other said "families" she could have had in her past. What hurts most, is considering the fact the Lady at the Adoption Center when Blitz was there, said "Good Riddance, she wasn't going to be around much longer", implies the adoption center must have had enough with how many times she had been sent there, so they were going to basically put her down to end her suffering. Even if she calls Blitz "Dad" sometimes, but not always, really means she has a true hard time deciding if she actually wants to call him that, because of her harsh upbringing, or if she sees him as a "father-figure". Loona derserves so much more care, because its awful the treatment she's had to endure. Hell I seem to think her major aggression is the fact she doesn't want to be sent back to that god horrible place, so she is doing everything she possibly can to stay and contribute (Sorry for the long rant)
my theory is that the marks she made on the walls arent days she was counting....she has a cellphone for that. They were rather the number of ADOPTIONS she had that kept failing and bringing her back to that same pound, same cell.😰😰😰😰
S1 E8 and S2 E1 show that Blitz and Loona are both very damaged, and the reasons why Blitz is how he is, we kinda knew why Loona was how she was from the Pound Episode, but as you said S1 E8 makes far more of S2 make sense, It shows that Blitz needs Loona.. Despite how he always seemed to try and say he doesn't need anyone or anything.. And that for Loona he's willing to go a long long way out of his very selfish self something that he doesn't even seem to do even for Stolas... In a lot of way Blitz is to Stolas what Loona is to Blitz... their reason for pushing on.. and trying in their own ways to be better even if Hell seems to make that very difficult.
When one thinks about it, it is kind of weird that all hellhounds we are shown on the flasback are pretty much kids, while loona is like the only one this old, so it DOES really make a lot of sense that she would have been returned, even over and over again.
At 3:18 if you look at the drawings on the wall, I think these could be by Loona since this looked like it was predominantly her cell given all the scratch marks, her attacking any new hellhound roommate, and the top drawing predominantly showing a moon and star that are often associated with Loona. What's interesting is the bottom left drawing, you see a younger hellhound, walking with a human(?) Looking figure, possibly male, with sad expression. If this is in fact by Loona, then it might confirm it hint at the theory that she was previously owned by a non hellhound adult figure.
Bro when I watch this I was literally was about to cry my heart was literally broken when I watch this 💔 when loona was abandoned 2 times my heart broke when I heard this story
I have a theory, Luna Real parents use to party a lot, and in one of party they pass away due to alcoholism, and Luna was left alone in there, and I think the rich family who adopted her probably use her as a Bodyguard or smth else, and I think the dog (I forget her name) probably took Luna to party and When Luna threw up, the dog took the photo, and idk maybe like a few hours, Luna was put back in where they adopted her, and she was probably more Traumatic by her rich adopted parents,
Im thinking she wasnt just returned, but she was "traded in" for a different Hound. That would hurt much more than just abandonment. Could also could explain why the 'keep things that bring you joy' comment would sting so much.
Something I saw was that Vikki was voiced by Jinkx Monsoon, a drag performer who won two seasons of drag race and also voiced Emerald from Steven Universe
I can completely relate to the part about not dying alone. I've had that fear for years. At my age, plus the loss of my sister. That fear has increased tenfold ! I've been praying to meet any single lady close to my location. I feel that setting limitations to the qualities I want in a lady is severely limiting my chances to meet her. Maybe I should just settle for anyone who is nothing like the one I would actually want to be with? Another thing that seems to be hindering my chances is the fact that I keep getting a friend request or suggestion for a married or engaged lady.
I am thinking that a member of her family perhaps a sister or brother gave her their old phone so she would be able to call them but then something happened and that is why she was so protective of it in the center.
;_; this theory really makes me sad
Yup,sad indeed
It’s does deepcut, and thanks for making this! Loona is one of my favorite characters. You might remember me- anyways thanks

Yeah, I Absolutely feel so sad and sorry for Loona. 😔😞😢
Yea, me too.

That or she could of stolen it.
@@lawnmowerdude That would be hard in place where are only teens, and if she did it would be seen by adults and she couldn't keep it.
Also explains why she’s on it so much, nice theory I like it
In my country (France) I heard smartphone traffic is common in prisons, but I like your idea, especially argumented with her protective attitude.

I'm pretty sure Loona's supposed to be based off a wolf. 🐺
I would absolutely love to see Loona's backstory, cause' her aggressive tendencies are her coping mechanism from her past.
She is obviously still healing and learning that she doesn't need to be in survival mode all of the time, but with Blitz trying to get closer to her all of the time, she gets aggressive and pushes him away to protect herself still, which is something we get to see her get better at overcoming as the series goes on

Personally I think Blitz actually did intend to adopt a hellhound as a child, which makes sense as we know he longs to be loved and to have a family
He was first shown looking at pups, commenting that they looked so cute (but also sad), when brought to another hellhound he reacts with great enthusiasm (until he sees what they look like..), explains to the worker that he’s looking for something “more family friendly”, and upon seeing the state poor Loona was in we can imagine he felt he just had to give her the loving home she needed
Yeah
That's what I've been thinking Luna was abandoned by her hellhound family and then multiple families after that until blitzo found her!
that could be the meaning of those counting she had on her walls
@@Nexwr37 that or how long she's been in the pound
If it's going to include Blitzo's sister, then we'll definitely get more to see of Blitzo's backstory and maybe learn more about this unnamed mother
yeah, Barbie Wire is gonna be an interesting bit of Blitz's story.
His mom is named tilla. It was the name of blitzo older sister in the pilot before she was retcon
Loona does seem like someone who was betrayed.
Her agressive nature could probably either lead to something like a ruined reputation or even a trauma of sorts. Imagine if she actually hurt someone to the point that they actually died or where quite badly injured. That's why she actually holds back. Because she knows what she can do with her anger
Idk, im probably over analysing lol
I mean, at this point analyzing is all we currently have
You also have to remember, that orphanage doesn't exactly look safe.
Seeing as she had a child’s drawing with what’s looks like man wearing a hat and a small figure with wolf ears (presumably herself) in the cell she’s kept at, there might be some truth to this theory.
yeah, god i hope she wasnt SA'd in that guy's care.
Wonder if the books were how she learned Spells....
@@UltimateGamerCC is merely part of the entire reason. I'd say Moxxie is an echo of Loona's old life
The parallels between the end of S1 E7 and S2 E4 are so interesting.
I have a theory that bee might not have that much involvement and the only thing she takes part in is probably authorizing the adoptions, plus since she is one of the seven princes, which means she has business to attend to
agreed, i dont think she is responsible at all, but her parties still contribute to the overpop, a nasty side effect.
Good god… I would say I feel your pain but I can’t even begin to. How are you doing now mate? You keeping well?
Because the hellhounds originate from the gluttony ring, and are usually adopted to be servants, they’re all like “worker bees” considering that both the gluttony ring and Beelzebub all have a beehive/honeycomb theme to it
I'm still waiting for Loona's tragic backstory that will make every fan drown in their own tears.
I have to agree with Loona on what she called her.😡
I’m also wondering about the fact that Loona would have been under 18 when that photo of her drinking happened, so she seems to have built up more of a tolerance.😥
i think it was interesting to see her not touch any alcohol this episode, she stayed sober the whole time.
I wonder if that poodle was implying that her other family gave up loona because she didn’t bring them joy.
@@UltimateGamerCC I wouldn’t be surprised if she didn’t want a repeat of what happened at that other party as well as was off putted by what was happening to the other Hellhounds getting wasted.😥 She even went “WTF” after seeing all of them swimming in the giant glass.😕

Pets aren't property. Hopefully this show wakes people up to that fact.
Loona does seem to have a sad childhood growing up but at least she is able to live some-what
of a normal life after Blitz adopted her.
Have to wonder if Blitzo even remembers Loona calling him her dad. He was drunk off his ass when she did
i think he did, i mean he also remembered her saying that he needed to throw up.
I never thought about how Loona's hair-trigger aggression mirrors how maladjusted or abused dogs act in real life, good observation.
I'm pretty sure Loona's supposed to be based off a wolf. 🐺
@@nealmann180hellhounds are dogs and huskies have a wolf like appearance. My profile picture is a photo of my husky, who looks like a wolf 🤣
I think even the odd 2nd season moments are a glimpse at deeper parts of the characters
Damn. They really worked on that Loona’s backstory. I didn’t even realized it until I watched it again.
I love how the evidence is her crying and a mean girl insulting her
It's a Marie Kondo joke, where you keep the items that being you joy when organizing. And the Fetch joke is a Mean Girls joke.

There isn‘t really a hint that ALL hellhounds are adopted. It could very well just be orphans.
i always find amazing how a carrying father blitz is... like he has many defects, but god he love that girl more than anything and would defntly die for her...
I wonder if we'll ever see her parents
Probably not but who knows she might have a abusive father and then a suicidal mother who managed to save Luna before she killed because she was not going to leave her in the hands of her abusive father.
@@noahdean9685 well she said that Biltz isn't her "real dad"
tbh i hope we never do, it's better that they stay out of the story, Loona doesnt need to see them no more.
Y'know. I never expected feels from this show but here we are.
That's why I love it.
Hell I seem to think her major aggression is the fact she doesn't want to be sent back to that god horrible place, so she is doing everything she possibly can to stay and contribute
(Sorry for the long rant)
I love her, the best character in this cartoon... For me
I love all the theories around Loona's history before Blitz adopted her.
my theory is that the marks she made on the walls arent days she was counting....she has a cellphone for that. They were rather the number of ADOPTIONS she had that kept failing and bringing her back to that same pound, same cell.😰😰😰😰
Luna appears to be a Husky of some kind.
Maybe She's "Lunatic Luna" because Huskies are know for being wild and very vocal.
I also think that she, like all the other hounds, were taken from their parents...like a puppy mill thing.
Definitely agree this episode fixed some of the issues of season 2.
Very glad the episode was finally released.
In the picture loona has the bite taken out of her ear. This only happens after blitz adpoter her.
I have a theory, Luna Real parents use to party a lot, and in one of party they pass away due to alcoholism, and Luna was left alone in there, and I think the rich family who adopted her probably use her as a Bodyguard or smth else, and I think the dog (I forget her name) probably took Luna to party and When Luna threw up, the dog took the photo, and idk maybe like a few hours, Luna was put back in where they adopted her, and she was probably more Traumatic by her rich adopted parents,
Kinda interesting theory, but damn your grammar gave me cancer
Another thing that seems to be hindering my chances is the fact that I keep getting a friend request or suggestion for a married or engaged lady.
you gotta be my favorite youtuber in a while
good music every episode
good content every upload
favorite guy every something
yea :3
I am thinking that a member of her family perhaps a sister or brother gave her their old phone so she would be able to call them but then something happened and that is why she was so protective of it in the center.
nahh this is heart wrenching i cant even put lol at the end :(
