Would you say either the growl or flutter tongue is more appropriate for some scenarios than the other option? How would you decide if you want to growl or flutter tongue, or even both?
I personally experiment as I’m trying out different passages. My “go to” is the singing growl, but find the flutter easier in the upper register. Definitely personal preference
