    When we play live, when I add the growl, some of the guests and most of the time turn their heads in curiosity! Nice trick. I will often use the harmon stem with my hand! Thanks for the vid! Love your channel.

    For a perfect example of this technique, listen to AL Hirts version of Alley Cat. It was made for this tutorial. Pixey mute, plunger or wa-wa mute and a great growl technique.

    I would actually recommend “singing” or humming into your horn for growling.
