Been a while since I installed one.
    Thanks for the refresher!
Nice tip on the removable trim so you can take the door out later. Hadn't seen that one before.

I have a two track/two rollers (on on each side) track as you show. When I opened the door today, I heard something fall into the back/rear the pocket space, now the door won't slide is sitting crooked as if the back of the door fell down (as if the rollers came off). I can see the front rollers, they look intact. I'm thinking the whole roller section somehow unscrewed and came off. Even if I took the trim off, there's no room to lift the door up (rollers hit the top of frame) and somehow tilt the door off the track. It looks like there's very little space between the track and rollers. With those two tracks on each side blocking movement, how does one remove the door?

Well, typically the installer has to account for this possibility by making one side of the trim removable with some trim head screws. But, since you don’t have that option, try to detach the remaining front rollers and see if that gives you a little room to remove the door. That’s not likely tho. Last resort you’ll have to remove the trim on one side, detach the front roller, remove the door and put it all back together.

On further investigation, I'm pretty sure the back wheel set did NOT come off. When I force the door closed, I see signs of both the front and rear wheel sets (I used a bent wire and it stops where I see the wheel sets. Even if both wheel sets are there, when the door is halfway closed, it seems to catch on something at the bottom preventing smooth sliding.
I can't seem to find a description of the hardware so I don't know how it supposed to work or attached and if there are any adjustments that can be made. In addition to your thoughts, what's the brand of the hardware you installed. Maybe I can get some thoughts from that?
Any thoughts on removing the door? I'm sure I have to remove the top and maybe the side trim.

How do you remove your track rollers in the future if your striker jam is notched out that close to the track?? I was going to do this your way because it looks cleaner but thought otherwise.

Great question! We put one side and the top trim in with trim head screws just in case of an emergency. Caulk it and paint it because you likely will not have to remove it. But if you do you can just zip out the screws and peel the trim off and pop the door out.

@looksgoodfrommyhouse9227 Right that's if you need to remove the door, but what happens if you ever get a bad roller that sits up in the track and you have to replace the roller itself? Is there still enough room to slide the roller out with the striker trim tucked up inside the frame?

Well, I’ve never had that happen but if you’re worried about a roller going bad you need to make sure the track stops short of the stop. Maybe 1 inch maybe 2. Then you could simply slip it out, but again, probably not going to happen.

@@looksgoodfrommyhouse9227 You're probably right that it may never break. My parents have had a pocket door in a bathroom for over 30 yrs and never had to replace a roller. 🤞. Thanks for the replies. Have yourself a good one ✌️

That is the worst sounding pocket door carriage I’ve ever heard.
You’d be surprised how nice the cheap Chinese knockoffs available on Amazon are. Ball bearings nylon rollers and soft open/close for a fraction of the price.
