It’s perfectly fine to pivot. There is a place, time, and season for everything. When we start sensing that shift, then it’s time to change. We don’t walk around in 100 degree weather with a Parker on. No, we change our clothes based on that season. Well life is the same. So do what you need to for YOU and your family.

Hi Angela. You do You! I am 60 years old and just started doing this crafting stuff in 2020. I do sewing, gardening and other DIY projects, like painting, redoing lamps and furniture. I will still be here to support you. I like to look at you tubes for ideas and how someone may have done something that I would like to do differently. I look at your T-shirt videos to get another opinion on how to create a different type of shirt. You help me decide if I want to learn how to do Bling. I learned a lot from you on using DTV. I hadn't tried that before and you were very helpful. So, don't let those sassy comments get you down. You Do You! You do what you need to do to keep your sanity and take care of your family.

My heart goes out to you because I see more influencers quitting RUclips, instagram etc. It sounds like your mental health is at stake also. You are a creative but take it slow and start enjoying your craft again. Myself, I got a little caught up in all the new, trending things that have been showcased in the crafting community and wanted to buy everything. That isn't someone else's issue it's mine. I have found that sometimes I have to step away to refocus and remember that I can't have all the new machines or crafting materials that I see...for me, this stuff costs. I appreciate your transparency. I think you should do what you love to to. I see everything you are talking about. I use to love subscribing to content creators (influencers) but it is really not the same any more. There are a few I still follow, but the choice is getting thinner because we are feeling it as the viewers as well. I only want to see content creators that are passionate and are having fun about what they post because that is what is inspiring. How refreshing and appreciated! I pass over videos that show the “latest and greatest” (expensive) machine a week after showing the latest and greatest machine by another company! Everybody is starting their crafting journey at different times in their lives so going back to “basics” with minimal machines that the majority of people have already or have invested in, I.e cutting machine maybe sublimation. That’s what I personally want to continue to see as a hobbyist. Thank you for this❤

Got away from why I started this journey and when other ""Influencers" would take time to respond or reach back out with advice or help without it being a problem to them I just pulled away from watching RUclips all together and started doing my stuff the way I did it 8 years ago. I’m so glad you made this video because I am feeling the same way. My channel is NOWHERE near as big as yours but I feel the same way. So many people are in this space it’s to a point I started selling off my stuff to do something else. Or maybe just less of what I’m already doing! It’s exhausting and I am exhausted and I barely Craft at this point. I have 1 video that has over 20K views and another one that’s pretty high and the highest amount I’ve seen from RUclips is 300.00
