Eric is very open & good at articulating what exactly happened… which is probably the gift & curse for him in relationships. These girls can’t beat him in an argument and he is VERY straightforward.

But, Eric didn't come off as more focused on proving a point than finding a mutually acceptable solution. He seemed like someone with empathy who was willing to learn and adapt. Furthermore, I noticed that Eric knew he tends to dominate conversations, so he was deliberating pausing to invite Jocelyn to share her thoughts in the course of the conversation.

What he said is true and actually amazing coming from a guy. He said they had two arguments and he was still willing to work through it and move forward rather than run as soon as the road gets a little rocky. If one plan on commitment, marriage, family you’re going to have way more arguments that will require working through or out so this is commendable. It’s very obvious that she was not 100% attracted to him when she initially met him, but was willing to get to know him as time progressed. He moves quickly and expected the same energy from her. During the trip, it really settled that she sees him as more as a friend than a romantic partner. I think she is having a hard time admitting or telling him that she’s not that attracted to him and wants to spare his feelings. This is why it’s so important to not go on a trip with someone you’re not physically attracted to.

Date one, she told him exactly who she was. She told him that she couldn't be bought. She chose Buffalo Wild Wings, and that impressed him. Yet somehow he still didn't get the memo. A few weeks later, he invites her on a getaway vacation to a foreign country and he clearly had the expectation that she'd sleep with him. She accepted the invitation, which she definitely should NOT have done. Then, when they arrived to Greece, she had the discussion with him about her boundaries (aka no sex). That's a conversation that probably should've been had in the beginning planning stages. But they're both to blame for that. They get to Greece, the boundaries are set, and clearly Eric wasn't happy with it. After five days of her not giving in, he got upset. He felt played. So, he resorted to childish behavior and condescendingly criticized her as being a "bad hugger". The man wanted more than a hug. But after only six weeks of getting to know each other, she definitely wasn't obligated to give him affection. He clearly felt otherwise and that she should've prostituted herself out. Again, she shouldn't have accepted the invitation. But in that same right, he shouldn't have offered it. He was disingenuous in inviting her on the trip, knowing he wanted "affection". And she was disingenuous in accepting the invitation knowing that he would want something from her that she wasn't ready to give. However, she didn't play him. He played himself. It just speaks to his lack of respect in the way he sees women that one could show him exactly who she is, and he still try to treat her otherwise. But ultimately it speaks to his lack of self-respect that he feels he has to lead with his wallet. The first lady he matched with also wasn't interested in him, and he led with materialism to get her too. At this point, it's insanity. Eric, if you're reading this, what you think you know, you clearly don't. So try a different approach. Try being honest, genuine, kind, decent and integral. How about that?!

She just didn't like him. She's not attracted to him. I do think she's a simple girl who doesn't ask for much but I also think she didn't give a damn where they went on dates because she didn't see it being serious anyway. These comments are concerning. She very honestly said they found that they weren't compatible after spending time together. That is the entire point of dating. They are different people at different stages in life. Eric seems to be more concerned with looks and thinks he can mold a young woman. While she seems to be looking for a genuine and easy connection. It's OK that they didn't work out.
Summary: He took her to Greece and thought he was entitled to “get some”. She didn’t want to give up the box. He felt unappreciated and accused her of playing him out. She then decided to leave. Since he already paid a few racks for their trip, he is still playing her close in hopes of eventually getting his money’s worth. Moral of the story: Do not plan a romantic trip with someone you haven’t already established a romantic relationship with.
That's not the moral of the story though. Did you listen to the reason why he said he did that? He said you get to really know someone when you are traveling or living with them. And it's true. Hence why REAL conversation came up during the trip. Not just superficial ones. The fact is she A) Was never really that interested in him and B) talking to other guys. Hence why you can see her looking at someone in the background of this video at 9:46. He was looking for something serious. She wasn't feeling him and was leading him on. I actually went on a date with Eric in June in LA and he is not really this sweet and sincere person as he represents himself to be. He was very argumentative during the date, likes to ask hypothetical black and white questions but got upset when i wouldn’t answer them without more information and insulted my character as a friend over a disagreement about picking someone up at LAX. At the end of the date he tried to invite himself over to my place, which I told him No I was not comfortable with that. He then tried to make me feel bad for not allowing him to come back to my place. So I just drove him back to his Airbnb and he was cold to me the entire time and he never even said thank you for the ride. He acted like a very arrogant fboy not this sweet and endearing person he shows on camera. He has two sides to him.

Eric is very open & good at articulating what exactly happened… which is probably the gift & curse for him in relationships. These girls can’t beat him in an argument and he is VERY straightforward.
Indeed someone who articulates their thoughts well may inadvertently dominate conversations, leaving their partner feeling marginalized and creating a competitive rather than a cooperative dynamic. But, Eric didn't come off as more focused on proving a point than finding a mutually acceptable solution. He seemed like someone with empathy who was willing to learn and adapt.

Date one, she told him exactly who she was. She told him that she couldn't be bought. She chose Buffalo Wild Wings, and that impressed him. Yet somehow he still didn't get the memo. A few weeks later, he invites her on a getaway vacation to a foreign country and he clearly had the expectation that she'd sleep with him. She accepted the invitation, which she definitely should NOT have done. Then, when they arrived to Greece, she had the discussion with him about her boundaries (aka no sex). That's a conversation that probably should've been had in the beginning planning stages. But they're both to blame for that. They get to Greece, the boundaries are set, and clearly Eric wasn't happy with it. After five days of her not giving in, he got upset. He felt played. So, he resorted to childish behavior and condescendingly criticized her as being a "bad hugger". The man wanted more than a hug. But after only six weeks of getting to know each other, she definitely wasn't obligated to give him affection. He clearly felt otherwise and that she should've prostituted herself out. Again, she shouldn't have accepted the invitation. But in that same right, he shouldn't have offered it. He was disingenuous in inviting her on the trip, knowing he wanted "affection". And she was disingenuous in accepting the invitation knowing that he would want something from her that she wasn't ready to give. However, she didn't play him. He played himself. It just speaks to his lack of respect in the way he sees women that one could show him exactly who she is, and he still try to treat her otherwise. But ultimately it speaks to his lack of self-respect that he feels he has to lead with his wallet. The first lady he matched with also wasn't interested in him, and he led with materialism to get her too. At this point, it's insanity. Eric, if you're reading this, what you think you know, you clearly don't. So try a different approach. Try being honest, genuine, kind, decent and integral. How about that?!

First of all, I used to not like Eric if I’m being honest. But after watching this catch up, I have so much respect for him. Even after a break up, he is respecting her privacy, he isn’t over talking her, he is allowing her to speak her truth, and he genuinely looks disappointed that it didn’t work out. He remembers exact dates and seems very attentive and detail-oriented. That’s a plus!!! He planned this whole trip to Greece for crying out loud. Personally, I saw their episode and knew it wasn’t gonna work. I feel like she only picked him AFTER he disclosed how many acres of land he owns and what he has accomplished. I got opportunist vibes from her. I am glad Eric agreed to this interview because she was so evasive and Arlette couldn’t get her questions answered. I guess she didn’t want to look like the bad guy. I think Eric tried to make it work. She just ain’t the one. I feel badly

That's not the moral of the story though. Did you listen to the reason why he said he did that? He said you get to really know someone when you are traveling or living with them. And it's true. I actually went on a date with Eric in June in LA and he is not really this sweet and sincere person as he represents himself to be. He was very argumentative during the date, likes to ask hypothetical black and white questions but got upset when i wouldn’t answer them without more information and insulted my character as a friend over a disagreement about picking someone up at LAX. At the end of the date he tried to invite himself over to my place, which I told him No I was not comfortable with that. He then tried to make me feel bad for not allowing him to come back to my place. So I just drove him back to his Airbnb and he was cold to me the entire time and he never even said thank you for the ride. He acted like a very arrogant fboy not this sweet and endearing person he shows on camera. He has two sides to him.
