Watched several of your videos and have to point out that you r flying waaay below the radar. The immensely useful info and opinions u r providing combined with high quality editing/production/entertainment value is insane. Hope more people notice you. Thanks for the videos. Keep up the great work!
I have this one and it is by far by favorite board. The new Vertex V1 switches sound amazing on it but also the Nixies were so buttery!! 10/10 would recommend.
You can find the plate file for the arc60 in the clickclack discord server. Then you can send that file to a place that can cut the material for you. Hype keyboards is one of the few places that specializes in keyboard plates, but there's other places you can try that aren't that specific about what they cut
IMO plateless is where this keyboard shines. With the hotswap & plate this board is nothing special. Put a long pole switch in plateless and wow does it deliver!
if layout is the only issue, which it was for me, i'd suggeset you still go with the arc. here's what i did after the purchase : - used a split back space(delete key + backspace key), - split R-shift (to be used as the arrow keys and "end" key) - split L-shift to be used as (l-shift and "home" key) - used the bottom right keys as arrow keys. i'm a coder and i used the entire layout of a tkl keyboard. and with these changes in the arc60, i've no need for another board for absolutely anything else. and it's so worth it for the other benefits you'll get for purchasing this board. addition plateless pcb, beautiful build, 3 piece casing.
@@walkthroughonthego2476 split backspace is nowhere near as satisfying as R1 2u backspace, and split L shift needs no explanation it's so bad. Split R shift is fine, but I really prefer arrow keys to using some random mod spacing for it After messing with layouts some I can see getting into it more, but really only for coding or something that works with text editing and such a lot. Not for most jobs though. Glad it works for you though!

Haha thanks man! I'm trying to improve with each video so hopefully more people take notice!

Nixies are great! Might be time to rotate them into a board again
I built my taro arc60 plateless with BBK switches and sugarplum dark keycaps. Only thing that made my summer english comp class bearable.
Plate less is always the best config for a lot of boards lowkey
the green one sounds very nice, good job
Hippos on alu was one of my favorite configs with the alu plate!
Well said and straight to the point. Deserves more views imo. Better than a lot of other keyboard channles. SUBSCRIBED!!!
Dam thanks man I appreciate that haha
why is your space bar wrong
It gives +5 luck in giveaways
I'd really love this if it could have a function row and arrow keys. I get layers, but I like having discrete shortcut keys
Maybe one day
Did tou try Space Fn? Basically the soacebar act normally when you hit it but when you hold it it activates a layer.
no link for the bump ons
lol mb. I put the link in the description
Hey just wondering what's the artisan on the silver board? And all the clacks are so crisp and nice, great vid and defo committed to the arc.
The green, aloe board? That's the taro fairy elf from zuno studios
@@arpeykeys thanks alot and great vid again keep up the good work.

Plateless is definitely something everyone should try on it haha
tried for years to use a 60% for actual work and it made me want to end my life. Nope, never again.
