The WTFOS team deserve our appreciation for the significant effort they put into making this such a polished experience with all the tooling necessary to make it accessible to everyone. As you say, no CLI needed. It just works. It also apparently doesn't burn any bridges with DJI updates, which makes the whole process feel low risk.
I think it's the best development ever (next to ELRS) for FPV. I also hope those smart guys who developed WTFOS use their know-how to produce a non-DJI digital system and profit from it (if it's worth their time/investment of course), because DJI does not deserve to be rewarded in extra sales for improvements they refused to make.

Nadie a contado el problema de congelación del osd cuando el bitrate es muy bajo. En ese momento el osd se queda congelado y no actualiza... Esto es un problema cuando estás alejado y no sabes tu punto de origen...
I'm testing it for a few months. Right now we got OSDdata recording in dvr. But you need to render both files. Allso we have fake HD grid for osd with new color fonts 👍. Right now this is the best goggles 🤣😁

I cannot update my Air unit in DJI Assistant 2. Is this caused by the root? And I also rooted goggles on firmware 0606 , but air unit on 0607 ,is it why my OSD does not work?

Hello Pavel, I have a quick question, if I understand correctly then the fonts are stored on the goggles. I fly Quads with Betaflight and Wings with INAV, is there a font that supports both?
Have updated most of my quads to use WTFOS. Last one just needs BetaFlight settings changed. I also turned on Fake HD setting which makes the font size closer to the size of the DJI OSD elements and allows you to push the elementa all the way to both edges of the screen. Like that cell voltage has one more decimal place and like that OSD profiles now work so I can cram a bunch of items on the screen but can hide them with a flip of a switch.

Too bad that everyone is so hyped that no one wants to see the problems, the OSD has at least 3 sec delays and you can not position elements on the edge, plus every font is pixelated, I undid it.

Not just dji's products.
You can now record the OSD info on the sd card and overlay it when you play the video back. It's still a work in progress, but it's working.

Well I hope it's an OSD playback app that takes as input either an MSP stream recorded in the blackbox data or from the goggles SD card.
The latest version of the OSD recording / playback is looking really good
I hope, now that you are also using WTFOS, in INAV 6 it will increase a little bit the grid size and solve the issues with ghost characters.
Now it is possible to DVR with OSD. Just two strings in goggles CLI and it works!
WE CAN RECORD OSD DATA in version 0.6.11 and up but in seperate file for render it in video

I rooting in the beta fase, was not so simple like now. I played 2 3 days.... Now working correctly the web Installer.
Wezley's video of Walksnaili hitting ~30km makes me wonder if the 13km limit on the DJI goggles can be removed as well.
on betaflight my home arrow acts strange. can that be fixed?

4 or 5. If you have unofficial version 6 then choose MSP Displyport instead

you store font for all FC with correct suffix and goggles handle autodetection and display correct one

Honestly: Donate the WTFOS-Team! The OSD is such an effort - i don't want to miss it. RSSI, LQ works perfect without any hassle or additional prg.
I have a question not covered: If I root my V2 Goggles which I purchased with the DJI FPV Drone, will they still work with the DJI FPV Drone?

WTFOS is awsome but I have issue with OSD LQ not showing (it shows 0 and flashes) on 4.3 but working ok on 4.2. Anyone has the same issues?

There is even a default legacy mode built into the WTFOS firmware.
Just hold down goggles reset on power-on. (see docs for details)

No CLI at all is not true. You have to configure the MSP display at least on betaflight FCs. But yes, it is simple 👍
so if I blew up the little diode in the vista so i don't have osd from the vista i can now have osd again? 🙏🙏

Sometimes removing the diode will fix the problem (happened on 1 of my vistas)

You get all the osd elements, not just the few that DJI decided on. This includes all the flight controller menus.

You need the correct fonts installed and I have a build of iNav that puts the elements all the way to the edge (it will be included in iNav 6)
It's open source software. If don't like, or see problems, it's open for corrections. ;)
You really need to install the SNEAKY_FPV fonts to understand what you're missing....
