Great to see Leenda D on here. She is one of the few guests who can actually match their wit and on-camera personalities. :)
We need more of the old school Fung Bros food crawls, like the ones from a couple years ago. 😋
Saw some of my old spots, loving it!
Hit up Scarborough, Markham, and Richmond Hill next time for all things Asian...heavily represented in those zones.
They did visit Markham awhile back with some local cameos
I am a black american who is so obsessed with asian cultures and foods. And this is a must try! Look delicious. 😊
So glad that you visited Toronto 🇨🇦! So many Asian spots here…those were just the tip! Come back more often!!
I just discovered your channel and love that you are reviewing restaurants in my city. I will definitely try these places out.
I used to live in Toronto (Markham) in the early 2000s, I work in international business and worked as a consultant for ATI technologies. I was super blessed to be able to have the experience of working at age 20 in another country in an area that was very multicultural and had so much Asian cuisine, culture and amazing people. And the legal drinking age was 19, so I got to experience a lot of cool stuff at an early age while learning so much about my industry. And the pacific mall was pretty new then too. Many fond memories! Glad you got to go visit, Great video!
Markham is part of the Greater Toronto Area, not technically Toronto.
Welcome to Toronto! So cool you guys are visiting. 🇨🇦
Been waiting for y’all to go to Toronto
Needed this again!
Awesome to see good recommendations for places in my area I never knew about
Great to see you guys were in Toronto!
Toronto? It's just purely amazing. Haven't been there but once the borders are open, I will surely visit there and satisfy my food craving.
Hurrah Toronto, welcome all! Toronto and the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) has an incredible food culture, with so many cuisines represented and embraced. I swear, if you crave it, or are curious about it, you can find it. In the downtown zone where I live there is Little Portugal, Polish town, Korea Town, Little Italy, China Town, Kensington Market - which is full of fresh food shops featuring Ontario produce, Mexican food, great coffee, cheese shops, Turkish food, butchers, fish mongers, German doner, you name it. Also wonderful Persian restaurants, Ethiopian, Indian, Thai, Vietnamese, Hungarian, Swedish, British, Finnish, French, Japanese, Italian, Tibetan...I mean, name it, and you can find it, from different regions in any of those places. Of course like anywhere Covid hit a lot of restaurants and shops hard but despite losses of some beloved places people have rallied to try to support businesses and things are thriving again. Thanks for shining a light on Toronto!
So good to see Leenda Dong!
Come back to Washington and visit Bellevue!! I’ve lived here my whole life and so many more Asians are moving here and new food places open everyday. Bellevue has over 2x the Asian population compared to Seattle.
Seoul shakers, pinky’s cache, Hanmoto are all a must in Toronto!
Shoutout to the Fung Bros for showcasing the authenticity of our for culture.
Love when you highlight Asian Canadian... cuz I am biased
Yoooooo glad y’all our city !!! Plus I went to UOFT too
Scarborough, Richmond Hill and Newmarket all have great Chinese food. In Newmarket there is a great seafood place with large fish tanks.
Thanks dudes
Oh snappers didn’t know leenda’s Canadian 🙌🏻 ! 626 🇺🇸🇨🇦 here! Love it!
Love my beautiful asian brothers and sisters.
fung bros and leenda d has always been a magical combination
Poutine (with real cheese curds) is the ultimate comfort junk food
Cheers from San Diego California
You guys came back!!
You should visit Vancouver, BC, if you are looking for Asian fusion. The population is over 40% ethnically Asian, with Mandarin and Cantonese being the most spoken language at home, after English.
I’m literally going to be in Toronto, what perfect timing 😚🥹
YOU WERE AT THE TIM HORTONS ACCROST THE STREET FROM MY OFFICE BUILDING!!!! I WISH I SAW YOU GUYS!!!
The Durian Pandan dish and Salted Egg Bun that he liked to much is actually from La La Bakeshop 346 A Bloor Street and Spadina Ave
Congrats best of luck
I subscribed
love from pakistani food
should have gone to Markham, (30 min drive north of Toronto) thats where all the asian spots are at, especially downtown Markham area, its a newly growing area with all the hot spots. its also where Night it up was hosted, our annual night market.
If you guys come back to Vancouver, hit up Broye Cafe for a Japan/ Viet fusion cafe!
(Also bring the charity basketball game with you guys!)
Try the food court items at the Pacific Mall.
We enjoy the food from Shanghai 360. They are very generous with portions and the food is always fresh.
Oh man this list is too small for Toronto. Have to hit up Markham/Scarborough EASILY or the chinatown spots
Tim Horton's, keep it going!! 🧡
i miss the cool music that use to go along with your food tours
Gosh, used to live in Toronto for 5yrs, I literally missed out almost all of these spots other than Tims.
Can u do a Montreal version?
Patois in Toronto! It's Chinese Jamaican food!
Timmies is common in Canada, but is now American owned. Looks like a fun trip.
Tim Horton’s is still Canadian. People keep thinking they were bought out by Burger King, which is false. They’re both owned by RBI (Restaurant Brands International) which is a Canadian company headquartered in Toronto, ON.
Great video ! The chicken wrap tear @6:35, was it supposed to tear like that haha ?
You guys are right at my neighbourhood, would love to run into yall sometime :)
Will you be doing fan meet ups in Toronto
How about a Vancouver one ? I’m waiting
Do you guys think traditional foods are evolving or have already evolved? Thoughts on dishes like the photuine that are incorporating classic asian foods into a modern fusion?
For those who want them visit Markham and Richmond Hill spots, you probably have to keep on watching the channel ...

If u ever go outside the US again, u guys really need to come to New Malden in London. They got the best Korean food spots in the UK. And some of the best Asian food in all of Europe.
There are so many amazing places to eat in Toronto and you chose to go to 2 Tim Hortons and a basic ass Smoke's Poutinerie. I don't understand how you think this is Canadian....but okay. Do more research next time.
Glad you guys visited and hit up lots of great places here but bruh… Smokes opened in 2008… not 1960s lolll
Asukal Desserts!!!!! Ube ice cream is bomb!
@12:10: "I just like to see old Canadian institutions embrace new, diverse flavours like Asian ones" ... uh, ...is someone going to tell him that Smoke's Poutinerie first opened just in 2008? not the 1960s? LOL

Let me know if you want to see the real hidden gems of Toronto's asian cuisine.
Let me know if you want to see the really real hidden gems of Toronto’s Asian cuisine.
Smoke's poutinerie is horrible, its not even real cheese curds. Ontarians trying to make poutine but the cheescurds are a crucial component of it.
You can find cheese curds in Toronto
I know Quebec people love to pretend they are the only ones who offer it but it’s not true
Cheers from San Diego California
It's adequate but there are much better places even in Toronto
Notice how they didn’t even eat the tims
bruh u got alot of facts wrong like how long the smokes been around lol
poutine is from quebec province you guys should go shoot over there! food is awsome
Smokes Poutine sucks, try Montreal poutine, try La Banquise.
