Have you seen Emmy made in Japan? Bc wow! She is awesome at it. I’d keep stumbling and say, “what’s that word I’m thinking about, I can’t think of it!!!” Lol
Is it just me or do we all watch when we are hungry or late at night and either way it makes us really hungry but sad cause we are too lazy to cook something
Just visited Toronto last week and one of the bucket list items was to go to Homemade Ramen. Definitely worth the trip. Had braised beef ramen, cold shredded chicken noodles, and Hunan shrimp. All amazing.
Went to Potato Noodle Soup of Bai at Pacific Mall today. They sold out of the sliced cold noodles tonight. Interestingly enough, I overheard another guy who came here cause of "that guy from RUclips". He was also sad that they sold out of the regular sliced cold noodles lol
JJerseyGirl Oops, I think I worded it wrongly. I meant I cooked the noodles before watching the video and ate while watching the video. Hope that clears it up.
Awe you're so polite. I think your viewers can tell when you actually fall head over heels for something you think tastes so good. I could tell that wasn't the best tea you had lol.
You can tell Mike wasn’t THAT into the milk tea. If he eats or drinks anything that’s truly amazing, it’s obvious that whatever he’s consuming is amazing based on his expression. I think he was just being nice.
Nice to see that you tried poutine while in Toronto, I live in BC and I know you like Vancouver BC, but it would be great to see you do a poutine tour in Montreal or Quebec City.
You are finally in Toronto!! I have tried all the places except for the first noodle place! A melting pot of cultures really makes Toronto a foodie's heaven!
I went to the homemade ramen place yesterday and ordered the beef noodle and pork belly dish. Ramen was great but, like Mikey said, the the pork belly was DELICIOUS!
Just so that you know. It was Marco Polo who brought the whole noodles thing to Italy from China and it was reappropriated. Cheers P.s: I'm not Chinese but know history much
Mikey finally met his match with those spicy Lamb Skewers. He is actually human after all. Also: Thank you for going to Smoke's Poutinerie. The closest location in the Bay Area is in Berkeley.
Hey Mike! If you want poutine, you must travel up to Quebec for it. Just drive a couple hours north to Montreal and the food there will blow your mind. The poutine there is ridiculous and does not even compare to Smoke's! While you are there, get some crepes, croissants, and bagels. Next time, you should also check out more places in Markham/Scarborough. The dim sum here is also comparable, or dare I say, even better than the stuff I've had in Hong Kong. Recommendation: Dragon Boat Fusion Cuisine -you definitely need a reservation for this place
Agreed that the best poutine is found in Quebec. Although I've had some pretty bad ones there too... research is important! If you can travel further than Montreal, there are even better options in my opinion. My favourites are La Licorne in Rivière-du-loup and La Cantine d'amours in Trois-Pistoles. Perfect fries, flavourful, thick gravy and squeaky cheese curds made fresh daily. If that's too far, Chez Gaston in Quebec city is pretty good too.
my hometownnnn. srsly pmall was my hangout spot almost everyday after school. so many memories! thanks for making this video, I'm happy Toronto met your chinese food standards!
1am n prego mom here is about to make me some noodles.. yes the instant one. thanks to mike i went to the asian grocery store n got every kind they had.. now my 2 yr ol n i are hook on noodles.. thanks so much mike we love u..
There's a lot of things I don't like about my hometown but I've always been extremely proud of our food culture here in Toronto. We have some of the best Asian foods in town that are not overly expensive!
I love your foodie channels! I always eat along to them (even though Cup O Noodle isn't the same). You inspire me to try new cuisine when I can travel and I can't wait! :)
I ordered the stir fried ramen and pork slices, poured the sauce on the noodles and ate it with the meat. He is right. That itself should be a meal. It is amazing!!!
I Really like this videos editing it feels more personable it Makes mike feel more human and likable other video feel more robotic and to the point please keep this style
Try to get to other places in Markham, Ont., the suburban City just north of Toronto. You went to the Pacific Mall there. The city has a very large Chinese population with some great restaurants. My Kendo club used to enjoy going to Harbin BBQ on Steeles Avenue, which is right on the border between Toronto and Markham.
Second Harbin, specially for the lamb skewers. However for beef skewers I find one +one on silverstar to be better. I also really would have liked to see him do a hotpot tour in Toronto, just to compare quality in New York.
yay Toronto! Love watching a video where all the restaurants are places I can go visit. Respect for hitting up the poutine... and to take down three of them! Nice. Kind of wishing you continued your AYCE hotpot reviews here... surely we have a couple!
Funny you said ‘just like magical noodles” because there’s a chain restaurant called magic noodles that also sell hand pulled Chinese noodles in Toronto 😂
Going up to visit my boyfriend in Toronto in a few weeks and we've yet to explore Chinatown. Definitely going to check out the ramen place when we do ^_^
Ohhh liangpi (cold skin noodle) is absolutely my favorite since I was little! And it’s so awesome to have it in Toronto! Usually my first thing every time when I got back to Toronto!
Being Chinese myself a lot of talented chefs from the mainland came over to Canada especially around the Vancouver area, If anyone goes there it’s a must go especially food wise.
Mike, why are you doing this to me? I can't watch your videos when I'm hungry cause it makes me more hungry. I can't watch this when I'm eating because it makes my meals look unappetizing. You are a foodie. I love you haha
Mike is ready to be the next Travel Channel or Food Network host for Asian food and travel.
mugensamurai
mugensamurai mikey, dont quit your day or eving and night job BUD?
mugensamurai why would he. Tv programs aren't that prestigious. He probably makes more money with this channel
mugensamurai Iiiii
Yes.
Toronto has authentic foreign food everywhere due to being multi cultural. Food heaven!
This guy really know how to describe food.
It’s called using your brain and knowing words.... not very hard
@@rec0il_179 you saw a simple comment and decided to be a smartass dick. Congratulations

You know what will make that poutine complete?
Hot oil
Does the hot oil need to be added in or poutine?
😂😂😂
It wouldn't work (I do realize it is a joke)
Is it just me or do we all watch when we are hungry or late at night and either way it makes us really hungry but sad cause we are too lazy to cook something
YES YES YES That is so accurate
Of course; but that is a special time!
Just visited Toronto last week and one of the bucket list items was to go to Homemade Ramen. Definitely worth the trip. Had braised beef ramen, cold shredded chicken noodles, and Hunan shrimp. All amazing.
I don't know if you are like this all the time, but so appreciate how positive you are. You find the good in everything.
Is it still open i want to visit. Which level is it located.

Any other Canadians watching? :3
OMG HE TRIED POUTINE! YUSSS
No just you
Yes!
Yep :D
With love from Calgary Alberta
Did he just casually eat around 4,000 calories of poutine?
He'd made a fine Canadian.
@@MultiXaon wait is it made or make a Canadian
@@polluy it's make
Lmao idk why oeople care about calories 🤷🏽♂️.
@OhYeetYeet yeah... no. Many competitive eaters exceeds 10k calories within an hour.
You can't get me this time Mike, actually cooked instant noodles before watching! Great video by the way, keep up the good work!
Even if you eat before watching one of Mike's videos you still get hungry.
I just ate but I'm craving food again...
JJerseyGirl Oops, I think I worded it wrongly. I meant I cooked the noodles before watching the video and ate while watching the video. Hope that clears it up.
I came prepared with a massive bowl of cereal that lasted me the whole video.. barely. But now I want some poutine with bacon..
Chris M SAMEE
I totally made instant noodles just to watch this haha
Awe you're so polite. I think your viewers can tell when you actually fall head over heels for something you think tastes so good. I could tell that wasn't the best tea you had lol.
True, but then again, the best tea I've ever had really wasn't that good... Hahaha! :)
I felt so too but the lady seemed so sweet
yeah i could tell the tea wasn't THAT good either but i guess he didn't want to disappoint the old lady since she seemed so nice
Hong Kong milk tea is strong AF. I don’t like it at all. Much prefer regular tea
You can tell Mike wasn’t THAT into the milk tea. If he eats or drinks anything that’s truly amazing, it’s obvious that whatever he’s consuming is amazing based on his expression. I think he was just being nice.
I love hearing you speak Chinese, Mike!!! It's great. I love the way Chinese sounds.
Whenever I feel sad, I come to see Mike eating his noodle and it made me so happy and hungryyyy haha
Should be called Atlantic mall
Mike's videos are like mukbang's .. I love the ability to sit and watch him eat
The lady selling the milk tea is so nice awe😍
Nice to see that you tried poutine while in Toronto, I live in BC and I know you like Vancouver BC, but it would be great to see you do a poutine tour in Montreal or Quebec City.
Am I the only one that really enjoys when Mike speaks another language besides english? It just sounds nice ❤🐍
You are finally in Toronto!! I have tried all the places except for the first noodle place! A melting pot of cultures really makes Toronto a foodie's heaven!
Please go to more Canadian places =))
Oh damn he came to where I live, Toronto! Hype
Redmercy would have never thought red mercy watched strictly dumpling.

I went to the homemade ramen place yesterday and ordered the beef noodle and pork belly dish. Ramen was great but, like Mikey said, the the pork belly was DELICIOUS!
I'm broke af... I'm eating an instant noodle while watching you. Your video always satisfy my curiosity but not my hunger.
You seem so honest and genuine with your reviews of food which makes it entertaining to watch!
I love it when Mike speaks Chinese :D
Ao The Squirrel same!!! I wish he spoke more of it in his videos
Wow man, finally someone did this. I live in Toronto and after seeing Trevor's videos, I really wanted to have proper Chinese food.
did you seriously eat those 3 poutines by yourself?! YOU'RE A BEAST!
Those noodles are almost as wide as our lasagna noodles here in Naples.
mugensamurai "your" noodles were originally chinese so not technically "yours"...
Nope, that's wrong. Research the history a bit more, but it would be cool.
Just so that you know. It was Marco Polo who brought the whole noodles thing to Italy from China and it was reappropriated. Cheers
P.s: I'm not Chinese but know history much
Mikey finally met his match with those spicy Lamb Skewers. He is actually human after all.

Oh my god! Now I have to go out and find these places in Toronto so I can drag my friends out with me during breaks between classes. Thanks Mikey!

I love all your videos!! They make me so hungry 😂 😂
You finally came to Toronto! Really enjoyed your video. Please please do more Toronto videos in the future.
not a strictly dumpling video without that hot oil.
haha wow thanks for the likes guys! Didn't expect to get any.
If vinegar good on poutine why not hot oil
He should sell some Strictly Dumpling style hot oil :)
