That Tupperware salt shaker brought back memories!
high tech stuff when i was a kid...
Another great idea. Thanks. These types of instructional videos are awesome.
Glad you like them, and thanks for watching
Looks like a great concept !
I think so too!
Great idea
Thanks !!
gonna give it a try tis spring.
Great, let us know how you do with them
@@NBWildman i tried making a few of your other products but couldnt find all the ingredients, looked everywhere.
Will it still harden if I add corn and other stuff?
All i need is some biscuits and we set.:)
What's the music? It's good.
Can I put some cereals or more salt into the mix?thanks
What kind of mold did you use?
just made the lick but i forgot to grease my mold. have to figure out how to get it out now but other than that i think it's a dandy. Thanks
i've had to cut a few to get them out
Great video. New subscriber. Question. Ever try making these with molasses distant cousin maple syrup? Hard to find large quantities of molasses in my area but tons of maple syrup. Think it will come to a crack just like the Molasses?
I have never tried that, here maple syrup is pretty expensive and you can buy feed grade molasses really cheap. can't see why it wouldn't get to the hard crack stage, they have all sorts of hard maple candy....
Thanks a lot. After going a few counties over finally found a gallon of molasses. Couldn't find feed grade anywhere. Had to go to Gordon's Food Services. Appreciate the responses and knowledge. God Bless
Been wanting to do tbis for a long time.about how ling do they last give or take as far as hardness? In the late summer months
depends a lot on how big you make and the amount of rain...but i have had some last two to three months
If I used margarine instead of butter can I add butter to fix it or just Start completely over???
My gut says start over...but trying butter wont hurt....just might not work
i tried this last night in a pan the size you had and it almost boiled over moved to a larger pan but i could never get it up to temp so it didnt set up right i am using a gas stove if it matters. how long is your cook time to get it to temp
Oh no!, cook time depends on your stove, and if you find it boils up to much you can add some cream to the mix, the fat helps keep the bubbles down
Do you just let it sit or do you it in the refrigerator to harden up?
let it sit....room temp works just fine
I wanted to compliment you on how you do your videos....You slowly show the product and it's measuring amounts while the other people do a half ass job.....so I'm going to stick to your homemade products (remedies)......I'm in Houston, Tx....where are you?
Is that actually "butter"? Because "butter" is a milk fat protein from cows. Or is it a processed plant based margarine? I couldn't see the label very well.
It will only work with Butter, the margarine doesn't have the same effect
I can't get it to harden I had to have done something wrong
usually if it doesn't get hot enough it wont harden
That's what she said
