      @@TAMARbarCNC An Acorn, like you. I already use an AcornSix on my retrofitted milling machine.

      @mrraimundo130 I love centroid and the technical support is one of the best I've experienced.
      However I recommend that you will go with a dedicated fiber laser controller!
      Centroid is currently working on a dedicated fiber laser controller but they don't have a date for it yet.
      Therefore I recommend that you will go with raytools XC3000s or FSC2000S (for sheets) if your interested in tube cutting as well go with FSCUT3000S

    How long does the gas last for the approximate cutting time? Do you not use compressed air?

    That is amazing. I also use an acorn but on a mill. I do have an 80w fiber and "thought" I had a powerful fiber laser until now lol. How do you keep the lens clean being so close to the sheet?

    What power level you need to cut 10mm mild steel? 3KW?

    • @TAMARbarCNC
      @TAMARbarCNC  Месяц назад

      @car9167 technically 1kw but it's not recommended.
      2kw is fine.
      3kw would be great 👍

      @@TAMARbarCNC Thanks for your time to respond. I'm reading elsewhere the laser power sources in general have a life of 30,000 hour. What do you think of that? Have you run your machine for long enough to see degradation? Also if I plan to build a machine like yours you would say it will cost $10,000 to $15,000 or more?

    • @TAMARbarCNC
      @TAMARbarCNC  29 дней назад

      @car9167 I don't notice any degradation In my laser source.
      The machine similar to mine will cost you probably 20-25k usd
