Endgoal for the bandits series should be taking over the holy nation, or at least a part of the map. For some reason this series is giving me Berserk vibes, and you've joked about Chief being like Griffith before. Also, I like the bounty hunters idea.
Sure, Griffith has become a monster but he is a very well written antagonist. And now I want a Berserk mod for Kenshi ...Or a Berserk playthrough?! Start Rock Bottom and name your character Guts!
Flotsam Ninjas would be best friends with the bandits I reckon. Only have to take Bunker Hill for them since they don't care about the rest of the holy nation.
Definitively Spartacus Fun Fact:In my own Kenshi Playthrough,the swamp is in constant civil war. That means I am able to rob all the shops. i made like 670000 Cats.

In my game, a war started between UC in Sho Buttai and western Hive and Traders. Dunno what started it, a minor theft or some assault. But it escalated, and samurai now litter the ground everywhere. Somehow a tech hunter got caught in the mix and he slaughtered LEGIONS of UC samurai. I was training lockpick at the Police Station and saw how it started: some guy was imprisoned for committing a crime, then he got released, and instantly attacked the samurai. Fight spilled in the streets, where more traders were passing by, and since the arrested guy was part of their faction, they attacked as well. I imported the game, as Sho Buttai is my main base, dedicated to armor and weapon production for profit (I'm a noob, my 1st game). One of the traders from one of the shops got killed, since is part of Trader Union or something, meaning I lost my main source of leather, cloth and iron plates. The war was also very profitable for me, I was able to loot more than one down trade Garru, filled with loot. I have so much food now, high quality too, also ended with authentic skeleton repair kits, which I sold for 100k. I'm pulling about 50k per day selling weapons and armor

I'm sensing a Griffith/Guts connection between Chief and Pineapple Dude. Hope it doesn't end the same way tho. I'll always appreciate the way they made the Holy Nation in this game. It forces you to not only make tough decisions which reinforces your current playthrough's uniqueness and your roleplay experience as you the player want to min-max your hiver crossbowmen or your shek bodyguards. But oh boy, that one time you went out to train your greenlanders, they get knocked out by Beak Things, right on Prayer Day, that's when the crusades happen. And the alternative is to play with only greenlanders and scorchlanders as you eventually makeup for stat xp gains anyhow. But its less varied and you lose that sense of characters gaining personalities from their strengths and weaknesses like Hiver's having less limb health or Skeletons not needing to eat.
Honestly being buddy buddy with the Holy Nation will always end quickly, and hopefully by then you'll have advanced enough to have a small army of capable fighters to fend them off. Paladins are really nothing, it's the Wrath of God you have to worry about

This series is just amazing dude. Started with naked-skinny thieves and now has Berserk style bandits, with their own unique skills. I really look forward to watching the series to the end(if it has one lol) and the spartacus one too. For the armor in the end of the video, I think Big Al should have it, the guy already hits like a mountain, he should look like one too =]. I like the Rock Bottom scenario, because you start off with nothing and 1 arm missing just like Guts from Berserk after Griffith turned into a demon. The game even has similar big ass weapon and mercenary armor that Guts used.

Man, that journey to Flats Lagoon was great, though I still think it would have been better to just have had the original 5 Naruto-running there at mach speed by themselves. Still a great episode nonetheless!
Dustcoats, the black ones, are found regularly in Mourn and Black Scratch Adventure Shops along with the blueprint, the Scraphouse can have the blueprint but it does rotate them so not always. Coats do show up now and again in a couple of armour shops, Mongrel/Worlds End and sometimes Armour King has a couple but not too reliable.

Just a tip for using heavy weapons, the swing speed is determined by how much strength the wielder has. I believe in order to swing at the proper speed, you need 2x the weight of the weapon in strength (and remember, you lose strength when you get injured so you want to be over that number if at all possible)
You can buy the armour and the blueprints in adventurer shops, convenient shops (mostly leather based) and armour shops. Its region/faction specific though. The black coat is called dustcoat btw... I think the armoured version would look awesome on pineapple dude. I bought these in an adventurer shop in a tech-hunter city (Mourn). Maybe you already know about the controls. I just see alot of people not using these shortcuts. -You can transfer stuff between inventories in a fairly big radius by opening one inventory and clicking the circle. Than open another inventory, chest, etc. and right-click the items. -When you switch to animals after looting/shopping you can directly sell from the animal inventory or loot directly into the animals inventory if they are close enough. -Engineers pick up items from the ground, so just dump your materials nearby if you want to build a new outpost.
The Bandits playthrough has been a blast to watch and follow. And both of your propositions sound quite intense and interesting. My vote, though, would have to go for the Spartacus, the possible new Chainbreaker of Kenshi?
You can get the black coat blueprint in the adventure shop in black scratch, it's south of the howler maze. There's also a ton of blueprints for sale in the library there

Holy Nation I think is the best portrayed faction of fundamentalist zealots in all of fiction. They aren't purely 1 dimensional and villainous. If you play by their rules they'll consider you one of the Faithful and will even go out of their way to help you. I remember this one time a group of paladins started chasing me down unprovoked and at first I was like, "Oh shit, what did I do wrong?" But when they caught up they just said "Hey brother, you look hungry, have some free bread." Lots of fiction portrays the out-group prejudice of a zealot faction, Kenshi is one of the few properties that will show zealots treating your character well so long as you're willing to follow their rules.
Honestly... I like both the Spartacus and bounty hunter ideas, but something about breaking out of slavery and using other slaves to topple the slavers sounds more appealing right now. It doesn't matter though, I enjoy pretty much any content you make so whichever one you decide to do in the end won't bother me too much.
I'm all in for a second Kenshi playthrough. And I'm all in for the bounty hunter playthrough. And of course, loved your Sekiro video. I hope you do more of it in the same format. :D

Bounty hunters sounds really cool because the revenge style playthrough has been done alot. Also endgoal for bandits should just be a substantial amount of wealth, Chief wants the best for his boys after all. Lets say a small loan of 25 million Cats.
