I absolutely adored this game when I was young. I remember I got this with my GameCube in Christmas Day 2002 and I didn’t stop playing it for years. The only thing that ever bothered me was how much of a bullet hell certain levels could be, combined with the acceleration of the analogue sticks which sometimes made it harder to aim. Still, it was exceptional for the time it was made and I’d love to see either a remaster of reboot of the series. ❤❤❤
Agreed 👍
I miss this game, it was a good flight sim as you didnt have to worry about power management between lasers, shields and engines. Well done on completing all the missions
i love this game, left a like
Thank You
These are the classic missions and POV squadrons should’ve been!! Still awesome!
Agreed 👍

Muito bom !!!
Looks good, im trying to get it to run as well on the xbox series x dolphin emulator, but im running into a bunch of hiccups in game.
@@AnakinSkywakka what hiccups are you having?
@darkone666 This happens especially when I get to Hoth, the game is consistently stuttering. It will sometimes completely freeze when loading the mission or even when running a cutscene in game, dialogue and audio is choppy as well.
Its normally playable on the missions before hand but i have run into some freezes during other cut scenes as well. I tried to incorporate the settings you've got in the description but the xbox build of dolphin does not have an audio option nor can I change the backend, I reckon it's creator will include the option to change that in the future. Rogue Squadron 3 is even worse in every regard, I can't even load up the first mission without crashing a majority of the time.
I know Rogue Squadron is notorious to emulate, but seeing videos like yours where there are minimal stutters only motivates me to continue to try and figure out how to make it run well with the limited options i have on xbox. Any other game like Smash Bros, Wind Waker, Mario Kart, run buttery smooth.
49:25 so I've never been able to get passed this exact point on Dolphin, latest build. I have a very up to date PC, it handles everything in the game just perfectly until this level, a bit stuttery sometimes like yours, and at this exact point I get the freeze and buzz of death. Tried changing a couple of settings here and there and restarting the level but I get the same result every time. How did you get passed it?
@@Leewise1 I was using the EU rom copy and the US copy. when one crashed I used the other. 👍
@darkone666 oh OK, thanks! So the EU rom copy doesn't crash? (edit: doesn't crash on this level?) I was using US
Hey i dont suppose you remember what settings you had im really struggling to get this working but i had heard it was notoriously hard to emulate
The settings I used are in the description 👍
@@darkone666 your my hero. i cant tell you how long ive been trying to get this working right 🤣
