It's baffling that Petroglyph seems to be so incapable to just take the EaW style of Gameplay and improve it. They had so many chances. Universe at War, Grey Goo, etc. But all their other games are just ... forgettable. Irrelevant.
Petroglyph has openly said that really want to make a true EAW2, but the big mouse doesn't seem interested in that gold mine just yet. I'd say give them another year or so

I don't like how there don't seem to be any ground heroes really unless it's changed it's not a true remake without the ground heroes. The ui also looks a little old as well honestly.

So I've played this game way back when it came out and redownloaded it again so i can have those new mods. Well, OMG is this extremely difficult with the difficulty. I never even was able to have my first battle before i was attacked 4 times and destroyed completely three of those times. I keep having to resupply my lost space forces just in time to get attacked yet again. My 11 ships were pretty much outnumbered by 11 to 28 in the closest matching battle yet. I havent even made it to a ground battle yet. My opinion is even on the EASY and NORMAL difficulty this is insane.
Playing the Empire at war Remake its great fun so far. Only had 1 issue so far . Killed all ships except a big hero ship he could not harm my space station either could i harm him with the spacestation. After playing the round for over 30 min . I click auto battle and lost 😂 . Id say it was a propper draw.

I love empire at war hell I have 900 hours played but I'm getting so burnt out I've played all the top mods idk what do with the game anymore
