Emil’s been keeping a list of the features he needs in a shoe since he was a kid. The new etnies Johansson Pro MTB shoe has all of Emil’s favorite features as well as some new additions. Emil says, “my pro model etnies shoe is comfy and can be worn for everyday life just as well as for riding.”
Features:
* Mid-top Ankle Shield collar provides extra ankle support and protection against the cranks and frame
* Formula G rubber in the geo-hex tread pattern outsole, which is 2x more grippy than a standard rubber, provides a specific grip for all around riding.
* A Force Shield reinforced upper features a Lace Lock to keep the laces in place.
* Lace Guard asymmetric lacing to keep laces protected from pedals.
* Another key feature is the Strobel board midsole for stiffness and pedal-feel.
Both the cement colorway with faux snakeskin detailing and a blacked-out colorway of the etnies Johansson Pro MTB shoes are available today at better retailers and at etnies.com/col....

I love your guys shoes just a lot of the toes are too narrow for me. Its a bummer bc I fw the brand and the legacy
Just picked up a pair of these fuck there comfy hopefully will last me as long as all my others have not bought a diffrent brand of shoe in 20 years best in the game
Will these split between the sole and toe box in less than a year like my other etnies? Not great in a wet climate.

@@etnies Would have been helpful if finding a warranty contact was possible on your site. As for the shoes I find that very surprising that he had no issues while riding at his level. My etnies are falling apart from walking and very little riding. I'll be going back to Five Tens. They are miles better. My last pair lasted for years riding downhill, enduro and hiking.

Marketing is so funny
The Formula G rubber allows you to take your foot off, and on, the pedal mid air. Our MTB shoes with Michelin are a lot more sticky. And this is a high top so you'll save your ankles with your tailwhips. 😄
