Just saw your free and extended 1 hour training. Before I buy the course I wanted to know if there’s any type of limited support in case I get stuck on something and need to ask a question? Also, will this course keep being updated in the future months. Updates for RUclips I know are inevitable and would like to know if our lifetime program includes automatic updates?
@Howfinity Hey, I just watched this again. If you login to your personal gmail account and then go to You Tube and it says create channel, How do you make the You Tube Channel a business account? Where are the prompts for that? I know you show it in the beginning if you didn't have an account at all but then you show logging into your personal account and then creating a new You Tube channel for business. I didn't see the prompt for making it a business. How do you do that? Thank you again. EXCELLENT video!
Thanks for this awesome video. I struggled with adding the sunscribe button. I was downloading as an image. But when uploading it wouldn't select the whole image. It was too big for the box. What am I doing wrong please? Thx Tracey
If you’re not seeing the "Channel" option in RUclips Settings, here’s what to try: 1. Ensure You’re Signed In: Double-check you’re signed in to the correct RUclips account. 2. Access Settings: Click on your profile icon (top right corner), then select Settings.
3. Switch to Desktop Mode: If you’re on mobile, try using a desktop browser or enabling desktop mode in your mobile browser for full access. If "Channel" still doesn’t appear, there may be a glitch, so try clearing your cache or restarting the app. Let me know if this helps!
Thank you for the video. My existing RUclips account is verified, allowing me to include clickable links in the video description section of my channel. However, I followed your method to create another channel, and when attempting to add links to its videos, I'm prompted to verify the account. You forgot to mention a very important factor, when choosing "Video for Kids" that will mean NO One will be able to "Comment" and thats important. I have accidently hit that by mistake and it was a hassel to get that fixed one it was choosen.
I had a trailer for my channel. I deleted the video as I wanted to replace it with a different video. Problem is, the section where you add a trailer has vanished. Been like this for 2 weeks. Anyone know why this happens?
When you delete a trailer, RUclips sometimes removes the trailer section temporarily. Try clearing your browser cache or using a different device, as this can help. If the issue persists, contact RUclips support to reset the section.
Why do they need my phone number? They are not going to get their knees dirty, we are not going to take long showers hell, they are not even going to take me out for drinks. I get to upload a thumbnail for the low low price of my personal information to be tracked labeled and sold to other? Not a good trade.
well youtube needs your phone number verification when you are about to uplaod a thumbnail, reason is to verify your identity and also from scammers. Go ahead with the verification, its only once.
and it is only 1000s of times that Google sales it's users info. Private Lives Matter. Plus I have a pay-as-you go with no service, it would not verify anything more then location not my identity. They do not need to know anything about me, they are not my friend. @@ColleenPatricia2

Mine only says Profile and Basic. This is now Sep. 2024 and your video looks about 8 months old. Could it have changed that much in 8 mos.? Does your version now resemble mine. I am doing Personal, not Business or Brand. Could that be the difference?
Yes, RUclips occasionally updates its interface, so the layout may look different now. If you’re seeing only “Profile” and “Basic” under Channel Customization, it could be due to a recent update or a difference in channel type. Personal channels sometimes have limited customization options compared to Brand channels. You could try switching to a Brand account if you need more customization features.
