- Ngl, I did not know that the crucible tail had THIS amount of hyper armor. It also has a pretty fast cancel window to synergise with beast claw. Dragon claw also has a lot of hyper armor but is slow. Dragon claw has a fast cancel window so you can bait people in with dragon claw into crucible tail.
This animal/beast theme build was REALLY fun to play with!

I adore that builds like these can exist. Not some mishmash of randomly assorted spells, but spells that genuinely have a running theme. Even catchflame fits on this build, as you could see it as a small spit of fire from a dragon's mouth.
Crucible incantations being divinely powerful followed by a disconnect to show disdain for them? Now that's what I call gameplay and story integration.
I love turn n burn catch flame on quick steppers or blood hound steppers. Love how these players swap to bhs poke spam and have the audacity to get mad when they get turn and burned by catch flame. “No! I can't dummy pressure, what will I ever do now”

Oohh now this brings me back. I had a dragon +Crucible incant character. Mainly dragon. But miseri with parry main hand. Found out that Crucible horn and Greyoll's roar are great wake ups. Horn being more reliable due to my ping.

I don’t hate quickstep but I do hate when people spam quickstep into you with a thrusting sword

Something not shown here is that both Dragonclaw and Crucible tail have an optional followup cast. The Dragonclaw followup is a very good bait attack if your opponent dodges your first claw and runs back in to counterattack, but it does cost a lot of FP. The Crucible Tail followup is free and has longer reach but definitely comes out kinda slow

i wanna do a playthrough using a similar build with dragon, beast and crucible incantations. this seems like an alright template to build off of
