Yes, I'm familiar with the 2014 opening I was confused when this didn't say remake anywhere in the description so I had to go and find your other version hahaha
One would assume that this song could only ever sound good when sung by a female voice.

I was not ready for this anime... I expected a cutesy, wholesome slice-of-life anime... NOT A FREAKING PSYCHOLOGICAL HORROR!!!
Thats what i originally thought when i saw it for the first time when i had 12 years old and it became one of my favorite animes ever

Not gonna lie, I kinda miss the "You just can not Escape" bits of your original one, but this is still top tier my guy!

Love the reignition of the Higurashi fandom with the remake. One of the best thriller Anime, with arguably the best music. Good job capturing the feel of the song!

This anime is one of the best horror/mystery. If you don't mind quite a bit of brutal deaths, give it a watch. I just watched it a third time just so I remember everything for the new season.
I hope somehow by some miracle, one day you do the 1st ending of Higurashi as well (Why, or Why Not)

Something really funny happened to me a while ago, I was listening the intro (of the song) with my headphones on and when the instrumental was about to start my air conditioner made such a weird and loud sound that I literally jumped in horror and then the instrumental kicked in. I GOT THE LITERAL CHILLS BUT IN A BAD WAY LMAO I'LL NEVER CONSUME HORROR CONTENT AGAIN.

Just as stunning as you old cover. I love this one a tad more everythijng feels more enunciated then in the prior version. The only part that saddened me was you didn't put the Mion laugh at the start and at least one 'You can not esacpe'at the end. But that's more then fine. 😅 You did a wonderful job singing this cover. 💕 I hope that you will make the new song for the new Higurashi, I would love to see your take on it! 😊

I'm personally very happy with the sequel. There's nothing to be disappointed about yet, it's only 2 episodes in and they've pretty much copied everything perfectly from the 2006 series.
@@DimaLancaster that’s the thing. Higurashi had it’s appeal with it old art form and creepy arc styles but the remake as excited as it made me once I heard about it, finding out it’s the same is just not fitting.
