I'm actually currently watching Hiragashi no Naku Koro ni, which I just started last night. I only watched the first episode yesterday, but I watched up to episode seven today and I don't think that I'm going to have any nightmares where I get beaten to death with a baseball bat or try to scratch at my throat until I get to a major artery tonight. However, if it's a live action horror movie or show, then it might scare me, like Chucky. Chucky scares the hell out of me. So, basically, live actions could scare me but horror animes don't scare me, unless you count School Days, since it scares me how *horrorble* that anime is. (Please forgive me for that terrible pun, but it's true that School Days is a horrible anime.)

You know, even though a lot of people seem to regard this anime as a "yandere girl anime," I think only one girl here is technically kind of a yandere. People just assume that if a girl laughs crazily and carries around a weapon than that means she's a yandere. But one key trait about yanderes, other than their psychopathic tendencies, is the fact that they are obsessive over someone in a way that makes them think that they are in love with them. None of the girls in this anime are really yanderes because they don't do insane things because they are obsessively in love with someone, except maybe Shion. Because there was this arc in the first season where she went crazy because of her love for a boy. Even though that was technically the result of the Hinamizawa Syndrome So in that instance I guess she's kind of a yandere, but other than that, I wouldn't really classify it as a yandere girl anime.

Don't be afraid to sing, we like it! I used to sing when younger but my voice deepened, so I had to spend a long time training my voice to be able to hit high notes. I'm a tiny guy, most girls are taller, so you'd think my voice would be high. I love these covers. I prefer them by women but there are a few guys that do them well too. Higurashi has been one of my favs for years. I still rewatch it. The whole thing during the first season you're thinking "hey what's going on? Huh, did I miss an episode" (I thought that a few times). The next season helps clear it up so people should definitely check it out after the 1st so it's not spoiled.
