Notice period itself is illegal and unjustified. Once a person resign, the person must be released from the organization as soon as possible. 60 days or 90days notice period must be looked into by the govt.

@crownambassador1 I joined one company as per the offer letter I have to serve 2 months notice period and company has to give me 1 month notice period. Is this fair? Dear HR? and I worked for one more company where I have to complete 12 months probation period and completed it and worked for 18 months there and one day I went to HR asked her company leave policy and she informed me that my probation period is not over yet ?
In enger I left that job from next day onwards and after 15 days I wrote an email to HR asking her to issue fresh offer letter and I will join as original offer period is over.
And I telephoned her to release my pending salary and she told me that she would reply to email first and would speak on call. Neither she replied nor she called me again and after 20 days I went to company and met HR and asked her what to do and she told me to resign from the post and I submitted the resignation letter and asked her to issue experience letter and she told me that she would get Management approval and after that I would issue experience letter and there was no reply and again I went to the company and met director and explained everything to him and requested him to release salary and issue experience letter and a few days elapsed and he did nothing and I dialed his number and asked him to release salary and informed me to meet my reporting manager and I told him that hr had told me that you have increased my probationary period and why should I meet my reporting manager and I told me that I would come to company again to meet you and requested him to meet me along with my reporting manager and I went to office and again to meet them and they were not ready to meet me.
HR informed me that I had served notice period.
Please give me our expert advice

5 Things that are a absolute No :
    1. Leaving company without Full & Final settlement.
    2. Unintentional cyber crime.
    3. Loving the brand's more than the "Job Profile".
    4. Not speaking up for your credit.
    5. Emotional Outburst
    Thanks for the tips @theCorporateDiaries

    • @charlessmith263
      @charlessmith263 Год назад

Additional absolute "nos" - 1. Loose talking about your brand or company without substantiation. That is, you publicly rant negative generalizations about the company or brand outright without backing stuff up. Definitely fireable! 2. Any form of harassment, especially sexual harassment. 3. Intentional incompetence. 4. Not fessing up if you find out that you are committing even a minor employment violation. That goes for any work violation involving depravity, such as employee shoplifting (aka breach of trust with fraudulent intent) or other types of employee theft. 5. A social media post that can destroy, debase, ruin, or make contemptible the brand or the company that you work in.

    • @charlessmith263

Even non-harassing work romances are now definite no-nos, especially involving people who are way deviating in rank (so, for instance, no more CEOs romancing with subordinates ---big no-no!).

I've experienced something similar when I was doing my internship. I had to push a heavy trolley towards the lift and take it to the upper floor and when I got into the lift I was with the manager and when the lift reached the floor the manager acted like he was helping me by just touching the trolley. Then some other senior employee said "Damn the manager is doing an interns work" to which the manager replied "Man, things are difficult being a manager" when infact I was the one to do it in the first place. I let it pass even though I did feel that was inappropriate from his end but I didn't speak up just because he was a "manager".

    • @coolguy4562000
      @coolguy4562000 2 года назад

Employees in most of the companies do have a notice period buy-out option wherein the the basic salary for the days not reported (in notice period) is deducted. The concept behind notice period is for the company to hire a successor and ensure business continuity through knowledge transition from exiting employee. This may not be termed as forced labor but it is part of the employment contract/offer letter/appointment letter shared thereby legally binding. It is better for the employee to take the relieving letter (which otherwise would be termed as “absconding “ or “terminated”) and get an experience certificate (post completion of dues on full and final settlement)

Point 4. When you are the recieving end due to the offenders egostatical behavior, and when the offender enlists help from what nots and who nots to menace you, how much can you tolerate?
When those who are supposed to uphold the workplace values corrode it, what recourses does the targetted person have?
When the wolf pack does not rest till the targetted person either quits, or self immolates after unbearability of repeated attacks, how does point 5 matter?

I agree. You've landed it perfectly. We need counter moves against this well-known work place full of haters, bulliers, lazies and creepy manager... We want coach to make us strong as possible to fight back smartly : how to make an unfair manager fired during our probation period ? How to get a blame on a bullied colleague scared for his own place for no reason ? Etc. The "be perfect by avoided this and that" it's a kind of fantasy sometimes. You made a wrong decision of not hiring him .
Why do you care what the person did before joining your company? This is the terrible attitude of all Indian companies . Asking too much and too many details . Everyone enforces 60-90 day notice period (can’t be worst than this ) . Do you give 60-90 days when firing ? Laws in India are too gray or not followed /abused my companies .

I'm on he situation of joining a new company next month, I haven't resigned or put notice period at my current workplace.
New company is asking me to join immediately but my current workplace is asking me to serve 2month notice period. I will lose the job offer if I don't join on said date. I explained to the HR that my company is not willing to reduce the notices period and the New New company HR is saying she will withdraw the offer letter if I don't join on said time
Whats your advice? I've been with present company for 1 year 6 months and this is the first time I am in a situation like this

I was one of those people who loved to talk to people especially foreigners but once you pass 3 years or more. You will feel that you hate this job so bad. I have a doubt plz do reply.
If some senior or a fresher men/women outbursts at you. What should you do!?
    1. Standup for yourself in a high tone manner which we do in colleges which made our friend circle think we are cool and not weak
    OR
    2. Handle in a mature manner( almost silent and say few words which u said in these video like u can't even handle yourself or control yourself) will this method portray us mature infront of managers and weak in front of our colleagues!!?
For scenario 1 high tone in a professional manner.

"Looks like you are triggered with something, sorry but I do not appreciate such behavior, is there anything I do for you?"
and just walk away after that...

Hi , 10months back I was working for a company for Associate ops role, I worked only for 25 days, after that I did not go to job suddenly , then later manager were trying to call me I was responding, they suddenly put a mail to revert back and I sent the resignation mail for it. After that I spoke to the manager, they were trying to understand why I m trying to show up. I was not interested. Then finally after one and half month, I got a mail stating that my resignation is accepted and I will be releived after submitting the I'd card and if they are any liability. I had only my id card with me thats all. Then after the full and final settlement they will be issuing the experience letter they told in the mail.
But I didn't respond to it , I just ignored.
Now after 6months I received a mail that my salary is credited in the form 16 and form12 where in my details where and my pan card details where in the form it was put that the 25 days salay is credited to pan and or something. I don't understand what is it.
    What is do now.
Will there be any problem if I m trying for jobs in other companies.
    Please suggest what to do.
I m jobless past two years, and I m trying for jobs in IT please let me know

Thanks for providing information in such a nice way.
    Ma'am,
Some time back i had an incident with traffic police. I was driving my car and all of a sudden he came forward and caught a running car bonnet ( my car was extremely slow and i was crossing the road).
As the incident was so sudden I could not judge the situation and i drove the car for 20-30 seconds.
No one harmed during this incident !!!!
Out of rage they slapped me a charges of attempt to murder in FIR.
In such types of cases majority times accused acquitted by court.
But right now I am very worried about my job.
Currently I am not working in any company and afraid to apply as i don't know how to explain this to HR.

It is better to have a relieving /experience letter from the company as it may otherwise be also interpreted as “absconding “ as you may only have salary slips as proof of having worked in the company. Hope you have a copy of your resignation email sent to them and the offer/appointment letter outlining the notice period duration. You may drop an email seeking again seeking legal advice.
