I have the movie on DVD it's Disney and Hand made Films produced. It's really for all ages to watch. I like the classic story. Thanks for sharing this.
Inger Stevens played the maid Johanna. This was fairly early in her career. According to IMDb her first movie role was in “Man On Fire” (1957) with Bing Crosby.
Inger Stevens 🤩She's charming as always in this, and had just turned 22. Check her out The Contender (Armstrong Circle Theater) from 1954 with Paul Newman if you've never seen it (there's a copy on yt). It's the second television role she ever did. Longtime fan of hers and only saw Man on Fire last year, since it's fairly hard to find!
I have a feeling these won’t go into rotation on Me, but to get that re-appointment tv glow that Me offers maybe on a yet-to-be subscribable streaming channel specializing in stuff otherwise doomed to eternal neglect.

What an excellent find. In 1956, Evelyn Rudie, who played Eloise, was the youngest performer nominated for an Emmy award.
She did a ton of tv as a child, including a Hitchcock episode. Amazing young talent. 💕
@@ColleenDaumen2 And, she spoke fluent German. Refer to her appearance on "You Bet Your Life".
That theme sticks in my head 65+ years. Great live dramas
more talent in this show than the entire town of hollywood today
Kay Thompson wrote the Eloise stories based on a young Lisa Minnelli, Great show, thanks for posting.
Mildred Natwick... My fave character actress!!! ❤
Originally telecast on November 22, 1956.
Thanksgiving Evening.

I could see it airing on the "Decades" channel, but I think they changed their format recently.
1:24:17 too bad no one has a tape, copy or print of Confession
