The Choir School of Delaware’s after-school and summer programs combine choral training and performance with academic tutoring and one-on-one mentoring. Children from all backgrounds gain skills, confidence, and competence to achieve their full potential. Our programming addresses the systemic causes of generational poverty and socioeconomic disparities by serving as a “community center that sings” to create a more equitable Wilmington. Our intergenerational choir, celebrating its 140th anniversary in 2022-23, is the cornerstone of our after-school program.
