I have a wild theory. Capitano is like Ororon, like they have that half soul kinda deal. And he's carrying souls of Khaenriahian. That's why Ororon said he's seems familiar and when he got hurt he said soul is trying to escape. Also that khaenriahian soldier soul came outta nowhere and went inside Ororon. That must have came from somewhere. My guess Capitano

@@atriyakoller136 i found act 1 and 2 interesting IMO well kachina yapping at the beginning was boring me out, but it started to get real good for me when we got to the tournament

1:35:15 I had Cloud Retainer on my team when I did this archon quest. So I imagined what she would say in this scenario: “What’s with all the racket!? Can’t one get any sleep around here!?”
pretty sure that Chapter 5 Act 5 of Natlan will be wild by care it might be the final boss at the start of the story which might led to the Aether Reunited with Lumine
Reasons why I prefer the Captain over Arlecchino: 1. He's kind. 2. He's honourable. 3. He doesn't abuse others, let alone children. 4. He's genuinely altruistic and has empathy for others. 5. He lays everything on the table from the get-go, trusting you to decide for yourself without babying you or being condescending. 6. He's respectful even to those who aren't up to his standards. 7. He's cool without it feeling fake or forced, and he doesn't throw his weight around. 8. He isn't manipulative. 9. He's willing to lend aid and cooperate with authorities and refuses to go behind their backs.
You forgot one. 10. He would happily give Alzheimer's to an entire country if it meant they would have a better shot at beating the invading goo monsters.
Just wanna note for all you lore enthusiasts that the sky behind the fake sky look nearly the same if not is identical to the sky following the catalysm you can see the abyss sibling run through in We Will be Reunited. That's actually a massive piece of visual information, pretty much entailing that the cataclysm caused major permanent effects to the structure of Teyvat's planet as a whole. Probably all bleak if the fake sky came down.
I've seen so many people say this, yet I didn't notice anything wrong when I played. The dub sounded fine. I did not play this with headphones(I used normal speakers), so maybe it wasn't so bad? I'm not sure.
Citlali is old, u can see when she mentioned decender, if u recognize not many pple in teyvat know about decender, even neuvillete and some archon don't know about decender
I don’t like act three of Fontaine, but I can fully accept it because they did the repetitiveness of it very well, it was just supposed to feel repetitive like it would an actual prison
My Only Gripe About The Captain's Design is that it's not a flat Back surface on his Helmet. Is some shots you can see his nose and lips, but they don't move... I get not animating a pitch dark mouth to move, but I kinda wish it was just Black with no facial features.
When Citlali held our hand and did what she did I liked there are keywords to all the adventures we went on so far, free soul= Mondstadt, wealth and gold= Liyue, baleful thunder= Inazuma, verdant leaf= Sumeru and wrathful waves= Fontaine. Really summing up where we been in one sentence.
ngl, i'm sorta glad that Act 3 doesn't became borderline Citlali's Story Quest because a huge chunk of it felt focusing too much on Citlali's personal problem that's a bit irrelevant to the Archon Quest, but they just keeps going and going and kinda blew my mind with how jam packed the Act is definately the best Act 3 out of all Post-Inazuma Archon Quest structure, since Act 3 is always been the weakest of all AQ
@@MiyuKawasaki well we're talking about Act 3 alone here, but if we compare Act 4 troughout Sumeru-Natlan, then Sumeru definately came the lowest because not much is happening other than lore drops

@@whystaroth And I gave a slightly more detailed elaboration on why we thing he is the age we think he is. However there is also a slight difference between "around 25 yo" and "older than 25 and younger than 30"
I thought Kachina not having a voice for this quest was because her VA was injured and not able to voice her, but then Kinich wasn’t talking either and I got confused. I made a joke that both VAs were on different ladders at the same and both fell. Not even sure if that’s why her voice isn’t there.

20:00 Nah, the sharp "S"'s from Citlali genuinely hurt my ears when I played. Turned the volume way down because of it and even looked for an equalizer to turn the highs down (which didn't quite work)
The memories would go, the records would go if they use the gnosis. The night kingdom is their leylines so its like changing Irminsul. It will fundamentally change them as people and as a society.
Maybe I am him, my normal form was changed when i stepped through the flames😮 and ohh souls are alive. I believe Bran said something like that before to he said “They might use the lay lines to rewrite reality”
I'm kinda surprised Bran and the twitch chat don't see just how BAD memory erasure can be, considering they play mainly for the lore (I assume). I mean, the Aranara quest literally teaches us that memory loss is another form of death- Arle said so too. Capitano was understandably impatient, but like you can't essentially take away everything people have known and leave them as blank slates and then say "they'll get over it". Also keep in mind that the people can't leave Natlan. I'm assuming the result would be something similar to Inazuma, when people got their visions taken away. Ambitions and memories of what they were/trying to be muddled. Natlanders would literally choose death over erasing their entire culture, and they did.
I knew he didn’t play yet until yesterday bc I was searching 😂 but yea People The V in her name is silent in some cultures and in Chinese yes Citlali is a 1,000 years old

Ugh, I hate that people pointed the S out because I went through my entire archon quest not noticing it but now when I watch these reaction videos after being told about it, I can't stop focusing on it. Wish no one ever said anything!
Anywayyyyy LOVED THIS QUEST SO MUCH AHHHH ESPECIALLY ACT 4 BUT THE WHOLE THING WAS AMAZING
Same. I never even noticed it when playing and now I can’t unhear it.
I think i gaslit myself into likiing it...
Mobile or ps5 (I play on ps5) you can't notice it cause it's only a pc thing...
There's a possibility that it was fine.
The "S" issue wasn't there on my device, for example (I did the quest on my second account just to check)
A clue to Bennett can also be found in ;;Hill of the silent crickets' it's a book written by Kinich's mother in which it talks abuout the Mare Javari
God the archon quests keep getting more and more depressing
Wait till you do chapter 4... But it's good. I wasn't hyped by chapters 1 and 2 in Natlan, 3 piqued my interest, but 4 is tops. On par with Fontaine and Sumeru for me
@@atriyakoller136 yeah i did 😔
@@atriyakoller136 i found act 1 and 2 interesting IMO
well kachina yapping at the beginning was boring me out, but it started to get real good for me when we got to the tournament
Omg the translation for Xilonen's introduction in Korean is so different! She sounded waaay more angry in that version hahaha
Xilonen was the one that said Citlali was actually young, but I get the feeling that was eather a mistranslation or she was refering to her appearance.
Reasons why I prefer the Captain over Arlecchino:
1. He's kind.
Awwww act 4 is when the lore drop goes crazy..... 😂
I started act 4 and let me tell you it’s already off to a wild and awesome start, someone said I need tissues for the next part of it
Citlali and Faruzan should meet in a future event.
The "S" problem is only present in the English dub so it must be something with the recording equipment. It's fine in Japanese and Chinese.
It felt like someone was grating something right in my ears 😭 it's probably cause I'm wearing headphones but still.
I've seen so many people say this, yet I didn't notice anything wrong when I played. The dub sounded fine.
I did not play this with headphones(I used normal speakers), so maybe it wasn't so bad? I'm not sure.
i could be totally wrong but the quality control issues from the english voice over might be because of the strike?
Seems like the VAs didn't use a de-esser when they recorded. I'd even say it sounds like they recorded from home rather than a studio.
@@anewfuture it's probably cause you weren't wearing headphones or because the problem wasn't there at the time or was fixed
Citlali is like a 100+ years old
yup! Considering the lady said that Citlali would probably be more of her 'great-great-grandmother' I'd say she's probably around 150 years old-
You know who else is over 100 years old?
Faruzan
@@HashiNuke I could name a lot more characters that are over a 100 plus, since that includes pretty much all immortal beings in genshin-
Cant wait for your reaction to act 4!
Citlali is old, u can see when she mentioned decender, if u recognize not many pple in teyvat know about decender, even neuvillete and some archon don't know about decender
Nahida knows about descender
I think neuvillette does too (Idk I've forgotten the whole fontaine quest)
@@Sam-je2xj skirk tell neuvillete, dottore tell nahida about decender
@@IkanTerbang1815 Nahida actually knew about them
Dottore told about the fake sky not descenders
@@Sam-je2xj bruhh, u need to play that quest one more time and read properly
@@IkanTerbang1815 oke
I don’t like act three of Fontaine, but I can fully accept it because they did the repetitiveness of it very well, it was just supposed to feel repetitive like it would an actual prison
Agreed, they want to show that prison isnt fun at all
48:55 THE SILENCE AFTER THE LAUGH LOLOLOL
My Only Gripe About The Captain's Design is that it's not a flat Back surface on his Helmet. Is some shots you can see his nose and lips, but they don't move... I get not animating a pitch dark mouth to move, but I kinda wish it was just Black with no facial features.
Dude implied he's a walking skeleton, maybe he actually just doesn't have a face to animate.
1 minute ago is insane. I have been blessed by the Genshin Archons
ngl, i'm sorta glad that Act 3 doesn't became borderline Citlali's Story Quest because a huge chunk of it felt focusing too much on Citlali's personal problem that's a bit irrelevant to the Archon Quest, but they just keeps going and going and kinda blew my mind with how jam packed the Act is
definately the best Act 3 out of all Post-Inazuma Archon Quest structure, since Act 3 is always been the weakest of all AQ
Act 4 in sumeru was worse than Act 3
@@MiyuKawasaki well we're talking about Act 3 alone here, but if we compare Act 4 troughout Sumeru-Natlan, then Sumeru definately came the lowest because not much is happening other than lore drops
@@RTheStoryteller7 sumeru act 3 had dottore introduction, scara god plan reveal, and entering desert
act 4 was nothing except the last cutscene
@@MiyuKawasaki i agree
in Fontaine act 3 was the worst while in Sumeru it was act 4
After these 2 acts Ororon and Citali very quickly worked their way up to my top 10 Genshin characters I love them both and I genuinely don't understand the hate for Ororon.
I was fine with Ororon until we learned he betrayed his Archon by defending Capitano before knowing what his plan was.
@@omerpockard7212 So you dislike him because he has his own reasons for doing things and doesn't just blindly support an authority figure?
@@bookswithike3256 but his own reasons are terrible and he *should* trust his Archon. His only reason to distrust her is that he can tell things are getting worse with the Abyss, but he has no idea what plans she has and no reason to trust Capitano. Meanwhile he knows his teacher trusts the Archon. But sure let's interfere in a fight she has with a known enemy agent.
Bran she talked about tha trope, because she is that trope.
Lol. "You can't have an opinion on the way a cake tastes unless you can bake a better one yourself"
Aphids are bugs and all I know is that ladybugs eat aphids but this is a genshin type twist to them.
Me usually: I'll try to avoid spoilers
Me being slightly spoiled here: I'LL LOOK EVERY VIDEO TO BE PREPARED, I NEED A THOROUGH GUIDE
I didn’t expect to like Ororon and Citlali as much as I do now
"Oh my days" Citlali British confirmed????
mannn i just love citalali, how much bubbly she is...that drunk part :)....BTW traveller is probably older than her, so a ship??
granny and grandpa and their grandson Ororon 😂
I've been WAITING for you to do the archon quest 😭
36:37
You can see the traveler’s smile turn into a frown when Citlali says that
we still have days to remember our fallen during wars , museum for our culture , monuments and so on , would you sacrifice all that for guarantee survival ? or would you fight and maybe die to keep our memories alive , each one of us must ask themselves that question and find our own answer to it , I would die than survive as who I am not
I'm so glad someone finally said something about the "s" sounds when characters speak! Me and my little brother play together regularly and I kept trying to get him to hear it but he said he didn't, good to know I'm not going crazy or that I have hyper-sensitive hearing lmao!😂
I litterally love Citilani and Ororon's relationship sm and Ororon and Capitano
was expecting bran to have a more surprising reaction to the voices not being there lol
i was like why aint this sad and depressing? and then i saw it was act 3 not 4 😥
When kachina was muted, I thought it was just broken lol
40:52 Bro gave us the Shiggy treatment from MHA
19:10 to be fair we kinda have a aproximate age for Kaveh. We know hes around 25 (could be a bit more).
Given all available lore, Kavehs age can be narrowed down to between 25 and 30.
He once reffered to something that happened when he was 5 yo as "more than 20 years ago" and another time said that something that happend 30 years ago was before he was born.
@@GrandProtectorDark that's... exactly what I said.
@@whystaroth And I gave a slightly more detailed elaboration on why we thing he is the age we think he is.
However there is also a slight difference between "around 25 yo" and "older than 25 and younger than 30"
@@GrandProtectorDark I said that could be a bit more, I guess it was pretty clear that I already knew this information.
I thought Kachina not having a voice for this quest was because her VA was injured and not able to voice her, but then Kinich wasn’t talking either and I got confused. I made a joke that both VAs were on different ladders at the same and both fell. Not even sure if that’s why her voice isn’t there.
Look up the SAG-AFTRA VA strike as that's the most likely reason.
someone explained the thing with the S sound, its a microphone thing, apparently u gotta set it up right with the fluff or something otherwise it will catch the breath, basically recording the S as Ss
This should be removed in post-production by the audio engineers. It simply shouldn't be there. Recording studio seems to have dropped the ball.
I hope they'll eventually post-dub these archon quests cuz voice acting makes it 100%
Just finished both act III and IV in japanese and it was a RIDE
20:00 Nah, the sharp "S"'s from Citlali genuinely hurt my ears when I played. Turned the volume way down because of it and even looked for an equalizer to turn the highs down (which didn't quite work)
Yay ac 3 is hereeee. I'm waiting for act 4. Thank you so muchhhh
Also using the gnosis to erase the stuff in the night kingdom is like asking her to empty out their entire afterlife
The memories would go, the records would go if they use the gnosis. The night kingdom is their leylines so its like changing Irminsul. It will fundamentally change them as people and as a society.
watching this while building the botanical garden lego set
my back hurts
I read/heard somewhere that the line about Citlali actually being young was a mistranslation. She's actually old.
I knew he didn’t play yet until yesterday bc I was searching 😂 but yea People The V in her name is silent in some cultures and in Chinese yes Citlali is a 1,000 years old
For me, Act 3 didn't really need a cut scene it where would they would they put it in. I love Citali's design even more now that after seeing the full view and her personality love her just love her, Skylar did such an amazing job.
Great video, as alwaySSS, Bran!
26:06 I think it's fitting that Mavuika can go super Saiyan, bc Natlan's power scaling is hitting Dragon Ball levels of absurd. I'm all here for it, tho...
My intuition was cirrect again i knew my stocks would be good as soon i saw citlali.. She didnt dissapoint✨🔥.. Im hyped for her to be playable❤
39 seconds is criminal
Citlali's punch was my favourite scene😂😂😂😂
I love Citlali so much, and Ororon is such a cutie 💞
Haha chanka be like:how to talk to smol people
I didnt expect to like Citlali so much😅 as asian, she really have my mom's nagging, i could relate to Ororon's awkwardness when being scolded lol
Ahh yes, I am 3 weeks late watching the new act. I can't even tell what I watched 3 weeks ago
ahh finally, I watched the whole vid and understanding everything. this adhd of mine is getting out of hand
I bet Citlali is really old and somehow find a way to make herself young again, maybe some kind of magic that she can only use in her tribe?
I mean she IS an extremely skilled shaman, makes sense she could do that
44:26 why does aether look like a little kitten ;--; he's too sweet
I changed my game voice over to Japanese in the meanwhile
We all know that considering Venti didn't even try to stop Signora (no hair glow) and the others bartered theirs away, and the fact that Venti in particular has shown distaste for Celestia on multiple occasions between the game and the manga prologue, its obvious that at worst the dont like how the Tsaritsa is going about her plan. Its clear they likely support the overall goal she has.
1:56:27 Bran the first 3 harbingers possess powers comparable to gods not Archons and Nahida said 'comparable' to gods not equal to gods (let alone archons).
Ugh act 3 and 4 were so good 😭
50:40
i dont get it
can you explain
